    Apple crisp mini pie
    M D.

Dabble in some apples!! Sunday 9:45am no wait because they open at 10am lol, but the ladies were nice enough to help us out and take our order!! Food: We bought 2 frozen mini apple crisp pies. They are perfection and delicious !!! There are plenty of other flavors and pies that are frozen or you can order freshly baked pies to eat. There are two different buildings right beside each other. The Apple bakery is on the right and the Apple pantry with frozen pies and Jams is on the left. If you don't see anyone just go to the bakery and say "hello." Oven instructions: we bought 2 pies in case we messed up the oven instructions. The 1st time we followed the instructions, but the pie didn't seemed cooked or hot enough ( all ovens are different) the 2nd time we increased the temp to 375 and left it in the oven for 1 hour. We then let it cool for 20-30minutes. The second time was so much better and how it was intended to be. My husband and I devoured these pies lol. In the pictures is the type of oven we have (GE oven) Other: $$$$ cost of pies increased throughout apple hill farms which is understandable. I love helping out locally owned businesses! Not a lot of parking available from what I could see Takes credit card *apple hill is such a great place and we will be back again before Thanksgiving

Lots of foliage this time of year (10/29/21)

Off the beaten path of other Apple Hill Farms, Apple Pantry Farm is a small, unassuming little farm stand with a bake shop and small gift store. It's a scenic drive to get here and they're set up with small tables to enjoy your goodies. I really loved some of the hand crafted items they had for sale and they even featured a local artist selling her wares at one of the tables. Cute stop and worth a drive out here in the fall to enjoy the scenery en route. Review #61 of 100 review goal in 2021

We weren't keen on the big crowds at the biggest orchards over the weekend. Apple Pantry was perfect: delicious dutch apple pie, wonderful personal service, and a very pleasant place to bring a picnic and enjoy it with a piece of pie. For those who live closer by, there are plenty of take and bake pies available, too!

My honking piece of Apple crisp...yummy!

Best, best, BEST place in Apple Hill for a slice of pie. And there's not just one pie from which you can try; it's pie nirvana here! Their shop sells a ton of whole pie options for you to take home and indulge. Not sure what you'd like to buy? Wander on over to their awesome little bake shop, which is staffed by the friendliest people EVER in Apple Hill history, and order up a slice of the various pies they offer up. Hubby opted for the classic apple (best we've ever had!), while I went for the apple crisp (I loooove streudel crumble topping!). Both were excellent; we could have gotten them a la mode and/or with caramel cider sauce (we preferred "purist" style) for no extra charge (unheard of in Apple Hill!); we could have gotten them warmed up, but wanted them as-is. Our $1 cups of cider were delicious, refreshing, and nice and cold. Yummers! I cannot wait to try the Dutch apple, or blackberry apple, pie. And I must have missed seeing the pumpkin butter, because I looooove that stuff...oh well, gives me good reason (not that I needed it) to come back here :) We are ALWAYS going to hit up Apple Pie Pantry when we go to Apple Hill. If you haven't been, you're missing out. If you wanna be the favorite relative at your next Thanksgiving, bring a couple of Apple Pie Pantry's pies!

Beautiful scenery here. The cider is delicious! Going across the street to eat some apple pie!

This is where you can buy a slice if pie. All pies are handmade.

We spent most of our time here. There was a lot to do including an actual u-pick Apple orchard. Apple Ridge Farms is dog friendly. BBQ and Bakery with a full menu including sandwiches, salads and sides. They had a special on apple pies this weekend... $20 for a whole pie. Picnic Area - got our lunch and enjoyed it in the covered picnic area. Love their fries! Apple Barn - frozen pies, pastries, apple cider, fresh apples, Christmas boutique Country Store - filled with jams, jellies, fudge, chocolates, and great gift ideas Nature trail - visitors are able to choose between an easy trail and a not-so-easy trail. We chose the easy trail but I think they are both easy. Flower trail - unfortunately our visit was in early November and we missed when the flowers were in bloom. September would be the best time to visit and check out the colorful zinnias. Free to access. Gem mining - daughter has enjoyed this activity in other places since she was little. She's 23 now and still has fun with this experience. There is a fee for this activity. Pop ups Artisan Crafters - arts & crafts including wood works, handmade jewelry, handcrafted soaps and candles, paintings, dried nuts and fruits. Unique finds! Face painting - we did not do this activity due to time constraints but daughter had wanted one of Patrick Starr (SpongeBob Square Pants)... next time! Portable toilets are on-site. The selection for watermelon flavored things were small too. I only ordered the watermelon ice cream, which tasted good. It was an artificial creamy watermelon flavor. The lady who took my order wasn't very nice though.. It was nice getting to try the free samples of apples, and other things. The watermelon sample wasn't sweet at all, so I ended up not buying a watermelon from here. There were a few vendors that had some cool things but I didn't end up buying anything. Totally not worth driving an hour for this event. Maybe I would come check out these fruit themed events if I lived closer. I ended up buying a watermelon at Costco instead..

If you go on a random Wednesday you took off specifically for your chef friend on her day off so you could come get her necklace fixed by Wave Gods? We nearly had the place to ourselves compared to usual! Neither of us actually remembered which orchard Wave Gods posts up shop at, but we weren't worried. We knew we would know it by sight, and we did! Wave Gods is a beautifully handcrafted jeweler. They're local, fair trade, high quality, fairly priced, and super friendly people. I found a lovely amethyst ring for just $30. And I can trust that it's going to last a very long time if I don't lose it. Wave Gods fixed Jenna's necklace in no time at all, did a cleanse on it to expel all the nasty aura ex bf essences, and she traded one of the beads he made her pick for one of her own choosing. You can have custom pieces done, be they rings, engagement rings, bracelets, earrings or necklaces. Super amazing shop. Check them out! Another excellent reason to stop by here is to munch on a fresh, hot, crunchy, sticky apple fritter. Good lord almighty I hadn't had one in several years but had been having a hankering. The fritter I ordered was everything. I would have wolfed the whole thing down right there but my tummy is what it is so I saved half for later. Delicious heavenly goodness. The duck pond is another fun feature where you can often watch dogs and their humans as well as ducks and geese of all kinds. I remember coming here with my grandparents when I was really little, and appreciate that it still looks the same as it ever did. Maybe not as immense as it seemed to kid me though. Cozy good times and food times at High Hill ranch. Most of what you come up to apple hill for you can find here, plus more craft tents than other orchards have. You may have to use a port o pot. It'll be fine. Vegan Corner: the Fudge Factory has vegan pies ! And gluten free for anyone looking.
