I visited the Genius Bar for a battery replacement on my iPhone 13 Pro, after making an appointment online. Making the appointment was convenient. When arriving late Saturday afternoon there were plenty of team members available for arriving customers. I arrived about 30 mins early, so they had me wait closer to my appointment time to get checked in. A team member checked us in about 10 mins early and assisted me right away. Christian explained the process and had me sign some agreements. Check in was quick and it only took about an hour for the service, so we grabbed some dinner nearby. After the battery replacement my phone is staying charged and hopefully I can get another few years use of my phone before upgrading. I would highly recommend the Apple Store for device service of any kind over Best Buy. A week prior I made an appointment with Best Buy and found they have limited supply of parts. Best Buy ended up calling me to cancel or reschedule my appointment, so I opted to go to Apple directly--same price anyway. read more

My husband and I are looking to drops some $$$$ on an Apple Watch. We were greeted quickly, (wow! Impressive) only to be pawned off to another salesman upon our very first step into the store. That may be the protocol or workflow, but geez!, the finesse of that protocol needs to be practiced so guest do feel immediately dumped. After 10 minutes of watching about 7-8 employees standing around talking to each other and one playing with a fidget spinner, a young guy who was helping someone else saw me and came over to help. I have nothing to say about the final guy that helped me out for five minutes. I have everything to say about having to wait 40 minutes after my appointment was scheduled by them. Unfortunately, I even came early so I waited for 55 minutes total. Then, was told that my insurance couldn't handle the problem and instead I pay extra for it. I guess the CEO of Apple, Tim Cook, needs every penny of his $74.5 million salary he earned last year and not interested in making sure his customers are satisfied. I think this location finally made a turn around with most of their employees. I hands down received the best in class customer service and tended to all my concerns. Big shout out to Angie as she was very knowledgeable about all the products in the Apple Store and provided a solution on all fronts. Needed a new iPhone last month, my XR was 5 years old and going downhill. Came in and got help within a couple minutes. The whole process was very easy. I had my old iPhone backed up to the cloud and then the guy helping me, took me through the process of completely wiping my old phone and I turned it in for $120 off my new iPhone. I actually had great and efficient service here last week and I don't go to the Apple Store very often. Get there 15 minutes early on a Friday prior to them opening their doors and you'll find there may not be a line or a wait, and you will usually find easier parking. My purchase was a 13" iPad Pro but I Chose to get the "Apple Pencil" and case from somewhere else where it was a lot cheaper and a lot more selection. So I feel that I got value where that was concerned but overall Apple products can be pricey but last a LONG time. read more

Made eye contact and asked who I can talk to about AirPods. She directed me to the back corner where A-ron was posted. I just left there trying to purchase it an Apple Pencil that is always been $99 every time. I've been there for the last 10 years. Apparently it's now $139 when mind you it is listed at every single other business as $99. How are you gonna sell your own product at higher than its MSRP? I asked if they would price match and they said it's company policy that they only price match up to 10% which is not price matching. Like literally the most unethical business practice you could have you lost money because you wouldn't sell your own product at the price everywhere else is selling your own product. These fools are not repairing your computer/iPhone's/iPad's, just they says thrush it. When they say the cost for repairing your computer, it is the price of brand new computers. Recently spilled water on my MacBooks pro and it is damaged. When i took my computer there, they said we are diagnosing and then we will call you for how much will it cost, when they called me, they said approximately $1700 which is the price of brand new MacBook pro. read more

While I asked the person in front about the problem, I can see the tool on his belt loop and though cool this should only be 5 minutes or less perfect! Apple stores are designed to be open, airy, inviting and yes, homogeneous. This location is no different. We came here to get our ear buds replaced/exchanged, due to some mild static issues. It was an open recall. We were happy Apple alerted us and did the right thing. Of course, it's hard for me not to spend $100 whenever I come here. This time around, we got some USB-C and Lightning wires, along with a screen protector for my new 14 Max. Apple, you're so smart and I'm forever stuck in your reality vortex. LOL read more

I should preface this review with the fact that we have scads of Apple devices and love their products. However, this review is based on a recent bad experience with this store. After dealing with a severely bulging battery situation after two battery replacements in his MacBook Pro, my husband ordered a new customized MacBook and an adaptor, opting to have it delivered to the store rather than our home due to safety concerns with porch pirates. Understanding that the adaptor would be readily available, we indicated we'd pick the items up at the same time. We were given a two week timeframe - the computer is built and shipped from China. After tracking daily, at a certain point we knew it was en route to the store. Suddenly, on the day it is to arrive, my husband gets an email that the entire order was cancelled because the adaptor wasn't picked up within x number of days! He immediately called Apple customer service and was told that it was manually cancelled at the Temecula store location and there was nothing they could do. We went into this Apple Temecula location to determine what happened and unfortunately, had to wait in a long line outside the store. Told check-in person briefly what had happened and that we wanted to speak directly to the manager. Time elapses; someone else (not the manager) comes out to say entire order was automatically cancelled (not manually as we were told by general Apple customer service) due to not picking up the adaptor. Why would you cancel an entire customized computer order when the computer had been assembled and shipped from China?! Where is that computer and how can we get our hands on it? Most importantly, why in the world wouldn't you text, email or call us to give a heads-up....especially since we told you when ordering that we'd pick it all up together?! Well, seems it's "just the way it is" that the order was cancelled, AND there was no way to get this already-assembled computer. Told it would probably be scrapped and we needed to order all over again! We had no luck again asking for the manager and although the person we dealt with in person was very pleasant, we felt totally unsatisfied with her response. Customer service online was quite clear that the order had been manually cancelled, NOT automatic...so someone obviously screwed up. Sooo, we had to order all over again, wait another two weeks and this time - have it delivered directly to our home. We tracked carefully and ensured someone was available day of delivery to receive it. Obviously, we placed a separate order for the adaptor...which is what we should have done from the beginning had we only known! So this store gets a failing grade for service in the (non) handling of this order in a very untimely basis! Overall score is bumped up a bit because we finally have the computer and all is well. This should not have happened, it shouldn't have taken a month+ to get this computer AND it makes me sick to think of a brand-new Apple computer being scrapped - if that is indeed what happened. read more

My Family and I received awful customer service provide by Cassandra, after she took my screen protector off of my IPhone failing to explain me that she couldn't put it back . She also has the nerve to say in a very rude way that I need to buy a new one afterwards. We complained to the Manager named Manny and he was extremely combative and without any apology he finally agreed to replace the protector making us feel like he was doing us a favor. After this incident we decided not to buy the four IPhones 16 pro max we wanted, we will take our money to somewhere else. Imagine having a major issue with your cell phone and it being a national holiday? Well, yesterday was and my wife's iPhone had failed to fully function the day before. Off to the Apple Genius Bar we went, filed into the store as they opened their doors for the day's customers. We were immediately seated and an agent "Jasmine" began to analyze the phone while inquiring about the use of the phone; possible misuse; the systems that were failing; and would we be willing be without the phone for a couple of hours while it was repaired. She did take notice that the phone was not visually damaged in any way, and after performing diagnostics she knew that the device had not suffered any water or shock damage. To our surprise the store had the required assembly to complete the repair and we could retrieve it 2.5 hours later. In addition, we were advised of the cost, and signed the agreement. I must say that I was totally shocked how reasonable the cost would actually be. After completing our morning workouts, and then having lunch we returned to once again being greeted by Jasmine, the phone was presented in perfect working condition, paid the bill, and out the door in like 15 minutes! I had an issue with the camera malfunctioning on my iPhone. I walked into the store and I was greeted quickly ( almost immediately) by a nice man who looked up my appointment and directed me to a table to wait for a technician ( genius) I was told they could repair it in house and to come back at 5:10 to pick up the repaired phone ( which was about 3 hours of repair time) I returned and I got good news they were going to send my phone out and replace it with a NEW phone no charge !! ( $170.00 was quoted to me ) everyone was very helpful some of the technicians were very informative and extremely knowledgeable. It's darn noisy. I think that creates a bit of confusion when you are trying to decide exactly what you want to buy. That's how I felt anyway, as I purchased my new iPhone. I handed over my old iPhone, that still worked, for 100 bucks. Yikes! When I got back into my car, I kinda felt like I'd been through a whirlwind. The gal who helped me was super nice and so there was that. I don't know... when someone is that nice? You just trust them and you wind up losing a bit of perspective. I did. Classic story of a duopoly I came in to buy a new iPhone and was told I don't need a case because the new phone was titanium. I believed them. Shortly after the entire body of the phone had become shattered. When I inquired about repair, I was told it was two hundred dollars and it was explained to me it would be like new. When I asked about getting it fixed at a an off brand location they assured me it wouldn't work. Funny because I've used off brand fix places before and it did work. When I received my phone Back the back was replaced but the edges were still cracked. It was only then it was explained to me that they don't replace that part. It would have been nice to have been told that. Every step of the way I wasn't told the truth and every step of the way I actually would have paid more for what I wanted. This is not the experience of expect. The employees were and very sympathetic. But there was a vibe in the air like they felt bad and were sorry and that this was the first time they'd dealt with a customer with these issues. They did try to help make it right by offering a free phone case and screen protector which i did accept. Unfortunately while that does help with the protection of the phone, it doesn't repair the repetitional damage done with me personally. For the first time I'll be looking at android for my next phone and apple is definitely not earning my business for my multiple business like they ask for every time I've entered the store. read more

I am a T-mobile customer wanting to upgrade my excellent conditioned XS MAX and of course all T-Mobile locations were SOLD OUT of the 14 pro max but one representative mentioned that I was able to go to the Apple Store (obviously they should have them in stock) . So after numerous calls and visits to T-mobile (no less than 10 calls) I called apple and set an appointment. As I entered the Apple Store I mentioned what I was looking for so that my time wasn't wasted. The associate that I was speaking directly to was interrupted by Tyler. I am so thankful that Tyler intervened. He was knowledgeable and did everything he possibly could to assist me with my issue. He even stayed after hours to make sure that I was taken care of. During my time there we also called T-Mobile no less than three times to confirm all the details with the promotion that they were currently running ($800 off with an upgrade because I had the XS MAX, newer phones get $1000 credit). I was only issued half of the promotional credit, but Tyler was with me every step of the way as we contacted T-mobile 3 separate times to see why the full promotional credit was not applied and he also spoke with the T-Mobile representatives to make sure that I was taking care of (wanting to know the reason behind the $400 credit vs the $800 credit). After everything was done, I did get the iPhone 14 Pro max, after all, that was my goal, so I am truly a satisfied customer of APPLE (not so much T mobile ) Tyler from the bottom of my heart, I thank you for all that you have done for me. I wish you safe travels going back to Texas to visit your family and a safe return home. Your time with me was much appreciated.
