I have visited this store many times for repairs. They are the worst. Their solution to everything is buy a new device. My most recent experience was with an Iphone that was bought new as the solution to another phone that could not be repaired. The new phone lasted 9 months before it was determined by the store it could not be repaired (or replaced because it was bought as a result of the previous repair so the repair warranty was 90 days). The store's solution was to buy another phone. The salesperson repeatedly said they could do nothing. Argued with me over the warranty issues. Had no concept I was upset with the quality of the phone I purchased which only lasted 9 months before multiple system failures. Told me "I can't tell you to leave but I have other customers". So rude. The issue was resolved by calling Apple's 800 number. They replaced the phone with no argument and understood regardless of the warranty issues the phone quality should have been better. Best to avoid the store altogether. They are only interested in sales. read more

I am always impressed when I visit this store, the sales persons and technicians are always very knowledgeable about every aspect of the products that they sell. Do not go here for service. Go anywhere else. I have never been treated so badly. They actually started arguing with me as the opening line. I asked a question, tech said he needed to ask the manager, who came over and the first thing he says is "I'm here to tell you you are not going to get what you want." That was his introduction. Arms crossed. (With masks on cannot see facial expression.) I have a mac mini that is 10 months old. Bought the AppleCare+ too. Display completely stopped working. Call for telephone support, eventually told had to go to the store. So appointment made 6 days later (soonest available). Disappointing but, OK, times are difficult for in person stuff right now. Get there, greeted OK and seated at the bar. Several people come in after me and get attention first. OK, I patiently wait. Eventually I get someone and they check it out and tell me I need to leave it 5 business days. On the phone they said I would NEVER have to leave it, always fixed as I wait, so miscommunication. Store says they never fix macs while you wait, ever, and always been that way since Apple was founded. (Yes, literally said that.) I know that is not true. Then I ask why they don't just swap it out for a new one and send the one I brought in for repair. They say Apple has never done that even once in their existence at any store anywhere ever. What? Again, personally know that is false. So I ask if they can't repair it do I then get a new one? The answer: No. If it can't be repaired only choice is buy a brand new one. Under warranty and with AppleCare+? They berate me (2 of them at the same time) for not reading the AppleCare+ contract. So I go home and read it. They are wrong. I call support and am told "in the store they were wrong". So, at the deadline and no word from them. I sit here worrying that I may have just thrown over $1,000 down the Apple toilet. Made an appointment. Showed up 5 minutes before so I was on time. The kiosk in the mall is where I checked in. Needed some technical support and the guy in the mall hallway would not even let me in the store. Told me to go home and call Apple support line instead. Disappointed. I like how the store looks and the open feel of the devices. While Apple doesn't always have what I am looking for, I am able to talk to the specialists to get a better way of keeping my devices and not spending money on new devices. Recommendations for the store are there are plenty of staff members standing around. According to Apple they are assigned to do something, but it looks like they are socializing. It's a pain to schedule a genius appointment when you have a problem. They suggest that you do phone support, which in my opinion has turned into me coming back to visit the store. Made appointment during this pandemic and could not get in direct contact with store after calling the direct number to ensure what I intended to accomplish could be completed during these odd times of pandemic. I received mixed facts from store representatives at Quakerbridge store compared to the GREAT service I had at the World Trade Center Apple Store a year ago. The manager did not even let me into store to meet with the representative for my appointment and directed me to call general support which could not replace my phone case as I was told by the manager. Dear Lord, Apple. WTF? Many years ago, I worked in tech support at MacWarehouse. It was the mid-90s and people were buying personal computers and getting online, and it was an awesome experience for me. We were trained well. Everything, technology-wise, has changed, but there were some great, general, computer troubleshooting skills that I've been able to carry with me. There may be people who don't like Apple: it's too expensive, you're a fan of some other company, etc. I respect that, and figure it's best to use what you're comfortable with. I have always had macs, and for about 8 years, I've had an iPhone. I am not an early adopter, by the way, and I don't like to upgrade for the sake of upgrading; I generally hang on to my gear until it dies. I had my iPhone 3 for more than 4 years when I got a 5. But it dawned on me that it was ridiculous to spend so much money on a damn phone - albeit a cool one - when I was so plugged in as it was. I'm generally never very far from a computer or a tablet. But I use the phone a lot for photos, and it's convenient in that regard. So, it died about a week ago. Would not turn on. It's nearly 4 years old (and has battery issues among other things), and I understand that by technology standards, it's old. But I'm stubborn and cheap. I did a lot of research, and perhaps it was random, or some particular thing I did, but the phone turned back after a few hours. Whew! But then it died again less than a week later. This time, death persisted. I held out for a day, hoping my phone would wake up, but alas, it was not to be. I made an appointment with the so-called geniuses at the Apple Store at Quaker Bridge Mall for 4 p.m. on Friday. I wasn't wearing a watch, and since my phone was dead, tracking the time wasn't easy. I popped into the store about a half hour early. 3:30 on a Friday - a sunny Friday - and the place was mobbed. Apple has come a long way, but I'm not really sure of the direction. I was greeted by 7 front line Apple Store troops equipped with iPads and weird headgear, and was told that it was way too early to check into my appointment, and I'd have to come back. They went back to chatting among themselves. Grrr. I wandered over to Lush - how inspiring, but holy crap, the prices! Tried a few tester lotions, and empowered, perhaps, by my nourished skin, thought, "Screw it, I'll go play with the new iPhones, just in case these guys can't resurrect mine." So, I headed back, and was met by the front line again, though a different soldier told me I could check in at 3:50 at the earliest, and he'd come find me when it was time. The store is just so odd, but not entirely icky. The gadgets are really cool, of course. But there are so many people wandering around like zombies, undisturbed by the alarms going off, and it looks like everyone drank some Apple Kool-Aid, and it made me kinda sad. I finally met my tech, who gave me nugget after nugget of bad news: the phone was a goner. It had been eligible for the battery replacement program, but that program ended, and a new battery - even if that was what I needed (well, I do, but it wasn't ALL I needed) - cost somewhere in the ballpark of $150. Puh-leeaz!. I could also replace the phone: they have a few old iPhone 5 models in the back, but that would set me back around $250, which is stupid, and even my tech knew it. I quickly mulled my options: I could buy something online for a lot less, but there were a lot of unknowns involved with that, and perhaps microsurgery on the phones, and I'm not sure I wanted to do that. A new phone would be satisfying, though I resent that Apple is making that the most sensible option. It's just kind of rude. But whatever. iPhones are cool, and I'm ok with feeling conflicted about what was happening. My tech introduced me to an AT&T specialist; I told him I wasn't the account owner; my ex-husband is. My ex and I are friendly, and I was fairly certain he was home, but I had no way to call because of my dead phone. The salesman was reassuring and accommodating and made me believe it would be ok. I could use a phone at the store to make my call: I needed the last 4 digits of my ex's social security to proceed. Done. Next, the salesman said my ex needed to show ID - my ex offered to take a pic and send it, but the salesman said that wouldn't work. I asked him what my options were at this point, and he said I could buy the phone outright, and take it to AT&T later. I said "no thanks," and left. That guy HAD to know given my circumstances, I wouldn't have been able to complete the transaction. What a waste of time. And the traffic I encountered afterward...sheesh! A quick epilogue: I headed, with my ex, over to the AT&T store in Hamilton later that night. That place, too, was a weird zombie-fest, and the store itself was somewhat dingy. I pulled my phone out of my pocket, thinking we'd need to swap SIM cards, when it sprang back to life. Yay! I need a new phone. But not today. read more

The gentleman I interacted with basically acted like he was doing me a favor to stand and answer a couple questions about a Watch. Btw, this was the second time that I'd stopped in to have a look at the Watch. The last time I received the same low level of service from a different person. As I'm walking in here I'm saying "oh god, here we go. Someone's gonna make me feel dumb as hell." Exact opposite. I was met with genuine care and they were able to start fixing my problems after a 10 min wait (no appointment on a Tuesday at 1:30). I wish I got the dude's name, but he was cool and explained everything wrong with my laptop in detail, and gave me SOLUTIONS to my problems. I couldn't appreciate his candor and professionalism any more. He also fixed some problems with my iPhone. Of course I could've figured it out had I spent more time trying, but he was like "it's all good bro I got you, that's what we're here for." Great attitude. He's a tall black dude, with tall hair, a beard and looks like an athlete (possibly a linebacker). Horrible Service!!!! The employees that I've encountered were inattentive if you ask me. When you arrive to an decent Apple Store where employees value their jobs, a patron is usually greeted by several employees intermittently. Well, not at this location. I took my Mac Book Air there because the display panel needed repairing. The so-call Genius Bar employee that serviced me, had this standoffish demeanor as if dude really didn't want to be there or let alone help me. In addition, the person (a guy) that takes reservations and/or check in's act as though he resents his life (again only judging on his disposition). I said to myself, wow is it that bad here!. After I received the call that my Mac was good to go, I brought it home only to find out that the charger used no longer support my Mac. Not sure what occurred during the time a tech fixed my Mac to trigger the charger not to work. So, instead of taking it back to unhappyville, I opted to take my Macbook to the Apple Store located near my job in Delaware. Yes, you heard it correctly Delaware, Christiana to be exact. And I must say those folks there love their life, and they fixed my Mac completely. OH, and they smile and greet you continuously too. Very Genuine! In conclusion, if my Mac is ever in need of a repair, and if I can not get to another location, I guess I will turn into a tech overnight and repair that sucker myself, because I will not drop it off @ the Quakerbridge Mall, and that's for certain! read more

What can you say about the Apple Store that most of us know already. I have never been taken hostage before or imprisoned against my wishes but I only can imagine this is the same experience. I arrived to my appointment and finally found the "genius" who checks me in and he informs me I am 14 minutes late and my appointment has been cancelled even though I waited for 7 minutes to be helped by a "genius". I had to reschedule for 45 min later. Fast forward to my new appointment time they are 20 min behind schedule no apologies no nothing. If the manager was not polite and the last genius was cool this would have been a 1 star. Not sure about why this particular Apple Store is so awful but you may want to try another. read more

I'm surprised by all the bad review, but I had a great experience. I reserved an appointment with the Genius Bar for 7:45pm. Only had to wait 5 mins to get someone to help me out. The guy, I think his name was Chris, was fantastic. He answered all my questions, gave me tips and really helped solve all my battery issues and more. read more

I just had a guy put his iPad in my face to show me that I was wrong about the name my phone repair was under. The following is the email I wrote to Apple about my experience today: Although I love Apple products, and have received exemplary service at the Menlo Park Mall location, my experience today has left me feeling very dissatisfied and quite angry. I arrived two minutes late for my appointment, but the staff at the store was accommodating and I was able to meet with a genius quickly. I was informed that my issue (a cracked screen) would be resolved in one hour's time, and possibly sooner since there were no other customers waiting. I returned to the store one hour and ten minutes later, only to be asked to return in fifteen minutes. I returned to the store after twenty minutes. After being passed from one person to another, I finally met with a man who was meant to check on the status of my phone's repair. I believe his name was Nico. Nico could not locate my phone, and went into the back to check on it. When he returned after several minutes, he put an iPad in my face and asked me, "Is this you?" I am not blind, nor am I hard of hearing. Nico's actions and tone of voice were both very loud and speaking about his attitude toward me. When I responded and said that the name displayed was my maiden name, not my current name, Nico's response only further deepened my sense of humiliation and anger. "Well, this what YOU put your appointment under, and this is the name that YOU gave us. So, that's why we couldn't find YOUR phone." After this, I met with one of the technicians who brought out my phone. She was very curt in tone with me as well, which did not help the situation. In summary, my first and last visit to Quakerbridge Mall's location required me to wait for for one and a half hours for what was meant to be a one-hour wait, and ended with your staff speaking to me in a curt and rude tone of voice. The most upsetting thing for me was the manner in which Nico chose to put his iPad in my face. It was rude, unnecessary, and infuriating. I paid my $116 for the repair, but I will not be returning to Quakerbridge Mall ever again. Your staff there requires training in customer service and manners. read more

Very bad experience by repairing display of iphone. 1. can not make an appointment online. Have to call them. 2. Appointment 6 pm, arrived at 5:45. Got called at 6:20 and told me they closed at 7 pm so have to come back another day. 3. Stop by today at 10:32, got called at 10:52. Told me iphone would be ready by 11:40. 4. Come back 11:40, they need 15 mins more 5. Come back 11:55. they need 15 mins more 6. come back 12:10. they need 15 mins again!!! (I said "I've waited twice 15 mins, they said "what else do you want me to tell you?") very rude altitude. 7. I have to leave and come back one week later since I have to return the rental car. That means no phone to use during one week for me except I take a taix to get the phone back! UPDATE:Issue resolved by talking with a supervisor. The supervisor is very helpful and nice! read more

I bought a new IPhone Pro 11 then had trouble not getting emails on it or my 2 IPads. I called Apple and had help over the phone but the girl couldn't fix it. The next day I went to Quaker Bridge and got an appointment. I only had to wait 20 minutes. After checking in I met Darion. He explained that this problem is usually handled over the phone but he would his best to help me......and he did. You see being older it's harder to do things over the phone so I very much appreciated his help. He worked with me and fixed all three devices. Darion is a very nice young man and I enjoyed him....very personable. read more

Shout out to Gino! Came to Jersey for a business meeting. Had no way to connect my MAC for the presentation. Didn't know which cable would work. He wisely recommended I get the three different cables to be safe and that I could bring them back the next day or to my local store if I didn't need them in the end. He helped me out, laughed at my jokes sincerely, and made a personal connection asking about my work, etc. Thankfully, I didn't end up needing them but I was prepared! Gino was so awesome to work with that I came back to return them before catching my flight just to get that great service again. Why chance it with my local store? I felt he was really trying to solve my problem creatively, thoughtfully, and it's a good thing too because I wasn't thinking straight after 24 hrs of traveling. Hope he gets his due. read more

OMG!!! Worst service ever!!! They suck at it. They keep us waiting for a very very long time. They don't have more than one person at Genius Bar to help. I see representatives standing for no reason. If I were to have an option, I would definitely not come to this store. I went to exchange the phone and forgot the passcode for unlocking find my iPhone, the lady just left me to reset the passcode and said she will be back in 5 min. I had a great experience today at the Apple Store at the Quackerbridge Mall! My iPhone 7 just completely stopped working and I was not able to access any information or my phone. I went on line and put in appointment for service and went in the next day. The young lady, Ally that assisted was very knowledgeable and very friendly. Once she realized that she was not able to update or restore the phone she automatically replaced it. There was no hassle and it ended up being a smooth transition. Thank you Ally! Extremely BAD customer service!! Have ordered a replacement battery for my iPhone and after 3 weeks of NO communication (I was told I would receive emails on the status) when I call - was put on hold for over 40 minutes only to be told that the battery is already in store. Shouldn't I have received an email telling me this?? No remorse or apology but defiant & rude Chris on the other side, telling me he has sent an email now. I've been to the Apple Store at other malls and plazas but this was my first time at this store in this mall. The staff was friendly, nice, and helpful. One of the staff explained to me about using their wi-fi so I immediately connected to theirs since I was not getting good service throughout the mall. I usually go to the store to see what apps are on their iPads so that way I can download them on my phone and iPad. read more

If you're in the market for pretentiousness with a healthy dose of incompetence, this is this spot for you! Pre-ordered a new iPhone and opted to pick it up here instead of having it shipped to my house. Huge mistake. Upon entering the store, I was greeted by....absolutely no one. Had two red shirted employees blow right past me and fail to acknowledge my existence despite my actively and audibly trying to stop them. Finally, the master of ceremonies, or the hostess, or the Genius of Geniuses or whatever you call the clown behind the velvet rope summons one of his minions to assist me. This Genius takes over an hour to access my information on the cloud to sync the phone, a task I can easily do at home in minutes. He tells me that the WiFi in the store is consistently unreliable. I did enter into a conversation regarding this oxymoron, but I did note the lack of confidence in the product he was responsible for selling and operating. In conclusion, this store is a brilliant microcosm of post-Gates Apple, it is very pretty to look at, but when you actually have to use it you'll discover it is really just overpriced and underwhelming. read more

Apple is great for both its products and service warranties but is pathetic when it comes to interacting with real humans in their stores. Quakerbridge store is really a pathetic one to interact with when it comes to appointments and crowd management. Simple ticketing system, with a visible monitor to know your position in the line will solve the problem. Imbalanced employee types, misaligned staff and the so called manager is the WORST, useless person, who just don't do anything other than wandering, chin down to avoid seeing any customers. He just don't have the customer relationship skills to be in such jobs. Don't understand why you need a tech person to attend to the devices problems, when Apple has built everything for you to analyze the device issues just by connecting to your system. Just so stupid to understand. Their employees are great when you get your turn (must be as its their system which does the job), but your are being tested for your patience before you get to that stage. Not great, not the worst. This store is relatively busy, well kept visually like most other Apple stores, but not as efficiently run. Waits are long even when it seems like no one else is being helped or in queue ahead of you. Its staff does not try very diligently to provide stellar service, probably because the store has no competition in the area. The service I have gotten here has varied. Some workers have been very helpful with broken products/sales/general questions, but none have gone out of their way to be accommodating. About 2-3 have been dismissive, but most have been adequately helpful. One "Genius" is very knowledgeable but smells too strongly of smoke. read more

I don't like to leave bad reviews but at this point I have to. I've been to this location many times and almost always the customer service is bad. My IPhone 6 had this issue with camera so I went to the store and they gave me a "new" iPhone, which started having issues that same day. I called the customer service next day to schedule the appointment and was transferred to the actual store. The store rep told to come in without the appointment and just check in at front. I did as I was told and showed up at the store like 30 minutes later. I checked in with somebody who told to talk to somebody else and in the end this person basically told to go and F myself because I didn't have the appointment. I am fine waiting for an hour or two hours even if they tell me, I was more than happy doing some shopping or having lunch and then coming back, but they kept insisting that I am next!!
