I took my iPhone 5 in because I was having issues with the top microphone. The employees offered me cost effective solutions on how to repair my phone, but unfortunately, those fixes didn't help my issues so I had to have it replaced as an out of warranty replacement. This particular store is my go-to Apple Store. I've never ever felt pressured into buying one of their products. The sales reps are very knowledgable in a products. Their Genius Bar reps are friendly, easy to speak to, and they "dumb things down" for you as they explain what is wrong with whatever you brought in that needs to be fixed. read more

Came in to pickup a product that I purchased at another store but was out of stock. Store was very difficult to find after dark as it does not have a lighted sign. The staff were friendly but spread a little too thin in my opinion, it was hard to feel as though I was having an enjoyable customer experience. After finally getting help ( All I needed was to pickup my new phone) the CS rep that helped me dashed off before I could ask for him to install the screen protector I had purchased as well. My year-old Macbook Air shut off with no warning or reason and wouldn't turn back on. I brought it into this store and experienced the worst customer service ever. They said they would need to take it for at least 48 hours to diagnose it and then potentially longer to repair it, if I didn't need a new computer. I explained I am a full time student and asked if they could expedite the diagnostic process or provide a loaner, especially since it is a new computer. The manager, Damien, told me if I need a computer that bad to go to a library because other people have deadlines too. Then he told me if I had chosen to pay $499 a year for a business account I could've had a loaner. So because I can't afford $499 a year on top of the $1500 this MacBook cost me I'm just supposed to be without a computer when it experienced an internal issue not caused by anything I'd done? I have always bought Apple products and have gone to the store in Cherry Hill and never had a problem. I don't think I'll be back due to the ridiculous customer service here, and I'm not sure if I'd ever even buy an Apple product again. Absolutely horrendous. read more

I bought my mac from here great place and they helped carry my desktop out to my car

the people at apple ripped me and my friend off and tried to get us to but new phones. My friend dropped hers in water and put it in rice and they looked at her like she was stupid and said "your phones done theres no use in trying to fix it you have to get a new one, plus theres rice in your dock we cant get it out" so my friend agreed and went outside. i had a problem with my lock button and told them about it and the same worker told me to make an appointment and that i have to get a new one. said cant you fix it? and he said no thats impossible. well a few days later my friends dad made one little tweak to her phone and it was fixed, and she told me her brother had the same broken lock button problem as mine, and her dad took the phone apart, and fixed it. apple totally lied to us and tried to rip us off. read more

One star is even too much! I went in to this store because my son's IPhone 8 would not turn on. The kid is 13 years olds and saved for a very long time to get this specific phone. He even put a PowerPoint presentation together to show us why he should get the IPhone 8! I walked in at 2:00pm and was told I could be seen somewhere around 6:30-6:45pm. Since I don't live close by, I took the appointment and went out to kill time. 4 1/2 hours later I was back and still waiting. I was finally seen by Michael at 7pm. He was rude and accusatory! He told me we dropped our phone in water(which we did not) and that the warranty was no longer valid! He also said he'd be happy to give us another phone for $350! Such bull! Well, my son and I left the store and proceeded to go online and read some reviews/complaints about the IPhone 8. Apparently there is a design flaw and the false claim that the phone is "Water Resistant" up to 1 meter for 1 hour is just that... a false claim! The phone can be exposed to moisture by going from hot to cold or cold to hot environments. Steam can also trip the moisture sensors. Apparently there is an app that is a game that has you blow in to the phone and that can trip the moisture sensors as well! Needless to say, Apple knows that this is an issue but doesn't advertise this or stand by the warranty! It amazes me that the "Geniuses" can be so rude and that Apple could be so greedy that they don't do right by their customers! My next step is to take my story to the media because I think consumers need to know that Apple is falsely advertising "Water Resistance" for their phones and because Apple of Marlton has staff that are very rude and unprofessional! read more

Damien (sp) was awesome and really saved the day when my iPhone X needed some troubleshooting upon delivery from UPS at 7PM and the Apple store closed at 9PM. It ended up being a simple fix but his patience and willingness to work with me and not just look at the reservation schedule really made a difference. Great service. read more

Look out for bad employees at this store. - Zach THREE YEARS OF MEMORIES GONE DUE TO THE "EXPERTS: I am a mac user for a long time... I have an Ipad, macpro, and iphone. I have had great experiences with the cherry hill store, but the sagemore store is apparently another story. I got the iphone for my wife a few years back and she went in to the marlton store in jersey to sync it with a new HP computer that she wanted. She took it in and got home and somehow her phone with1200 pictures documenting the last 3 years of our lives including our wedding, honeymoon, some of her time in airforce, and the last 9 months of our pregnancy amongst others, WERE GONE. I immediately went back to the store and sat there as they tried and tried and tried to get these pictures back. I got the distinct feeling that zach, who worked on my computer earlier was not one of their top employees. Then ANOTHER customer who happened to be sitting next to me said she was in the store for the second time today because of the incompetence of this employee "zach." Zach was nowhere to be found. Basically the result was that they said they were "sorry" but there was nothing that could be done. One employee even told me they were NOT supposed to be working on HP computers. So why did they even touch my wife's. I ultimately had to go home to my 9 month pregnant wife and tell her those memories were gone. So I guess its luck of the draw WHO you get to work on your expensive equipment when you walk into those stores, because if my wife had gotten someone else... it probably would of been done correctly, as not all the employees are incapable.... but ARE YOU UP FOR ROLLING THE DICE? I called the apple hotline and they for 3 hours walked me through some of the same stuff they did at the apple store. She then told me there was nothing she could do. I am really just at this point trying to let the apple execs know what is going on in their stores. I think this is irresponsible of the manager of that store and apple to allow people who don't know what they are doing in a professional environment. The workers are running around helping 2 or 3 people at a time and we happened to lose something that was invaluable to us. There are other products and it makes me realize why the apple stock has dropped. IF I MADE THIS MISTAKE IN MY WORKPLACE I WOULD BE FIRED. So... good luck to those people who still have faith in mac and use them as a support resource. At the very least I would stay away from the sagemore store, because if they damage your property and memories... apparently all they do is say... "sorry." read more

Brought my macintosh in here with some problems and they worked on it for 7 hours. Only complaint is that they kept thinking it was fixed and it was not, so I had to continue to browse for a few hours. All of this for free even though my computer is out of warranty. Went there with my iPhone, best help ever and everyone was so friendly. If it wasn't for them, I would have lost everything on my iPhone because sprint didn't even tell me the correct stuff. Fantastic service. I've visited several times for various assistance from staff and I've always left happy. The staff mostly 20somethings are very helpful and very geeky and don't talk over you. I can never seem to get any mac product problems solved in just one visit here. Its always a painful process. Wish they could make their appointment operations chain more customer friendly. I will admit they always find a way to fix whatever the problem may be but its always costly in terms of time, money, or both. Also, I suggest making appointments for the earliest time of day possible but otherwise the store is usually packed. read more

Don't go to this store for repairs for iPhones. I drove to this store three times an hour each way for the store to tell me the first time that my phone wasn't showing the symptoms that I said. They behaved as if they truly didn't believe me. The second time they replaced the phone with a "brand new one" to find out that the "brand new one" had a straight line of dead pixels. Also the phone got extremely hot to the point I couldn't hold it while watching movies and had bluetooth connected. I called the store and they wouldn't even listen to my problem and sent my call to technical support. Technical support said she told the store to go ahead and replace phone. When I arrived at the store they told me they will not replace phone and that only the screen they would replace. Also that screen replacement would take an hour to an hour and a half! I had to wait an hour and 15 minutes for the simple fact they wouldn't replace my obviously bad batch iPhone. The manager of the store recommended that I go get "a few drinks." I highly recommend going to cherry hill. I've had an iPhone since the first one came out and have never experienced such bad service from an apple store. Not sure it was my race or the way I dressed but they basically made it seem like I was given a favor on a 3 day old "brand new phone" that they refused to replace or listen to the other issue that I was having with the phone. read more

Not sure what's happening to Apple, but as a huge stock owner and avid fanboy for the last 15 years, my experiences at this Apple store are making me question overall company management. There is an extreme level of passive-aggressiveness going on with these employees. They are all smiles if you stick with their program of call and response questions and answers. If you deviate at all, they start to 'push back' as another review noted. I'm not going to bore you with my personal story -- I will just say that something is off with this company, and this particular store at Sagemore. They aren't quite capable of 'bending' the corporate experience and personalizing it toward the consumer, the way Apple used to, or the way Amazon or Costco might. There's a bitterness to the staff here, and I would tie that into their age/generation. Maybe that's an overgeneralization but you'll feel it if you try to do anything more than make a straight-forward purchase or take a class. If you bring something in for repair, or need to go a little deeper into a problem you are having, you're going to get a whiff of what I'm talking about. In my mid-40s, I've done pretty well sensing when a company is undergo a shift for better or for worse. I don't know if I'd call it a national pattern yet, but if this store is any indication, Apple is morphing into a colder, testier, less-consumer friendly company than ever before. If you are happy with them, and all is well in your Apple world, you'll have no problems with this store. But if you have any kind of issue with your devices, prepare yourself for the rigid, stuck-in-their-program, passive-aggressive staff that works here. Seek other options. read more

I have purchased 5 iPhones 3 laptops and 2 iPads. I was in the store last week to purchase some small items, and while I was there I mentioned that when I plug my lap top in some times it sparks. They told me to bring the power cord in and they would replace it. I took the connection power cord in and was told I should have brought in my computer, but the associate that I talked to said only to bring the cord in and they could test it. After they talked to three or four different people including they manager , they gave me a free cord and I brought it home and plugged it in the next day to charge my computer and I had the same sparking problem. That was Christmas eve. I had a return to make at a competitor Best Buy that sells Apple products and after I made the return and went over to the apple section and mention my problem with sparking when I plug the recharging cord in and 2 of them said at the same time you have a bad card inside the computer. I was told they have an appointment two and a half hours later, but they also had 35 computers that required repairs and that it could take a few days to make the repairs. I am in town tomorrow and then for Florida for 5 months. If they had experienced help my situation could have been resolved last week. Now I have to take it to an Apple store in Florida. read more
