1. My wife scheduled an appointment for 7pm to have her iPhone 7 batter y changed. We arrived before the appointment time. She checked in at the front desk. 2. Incredibly, we were told to come back at 8:55pm (5 minuters before closing time). 3. We went back at about 8:50pm - not one of the umpteenth employees there even stopped to ask if we were being helped, so again my wife went to the front desk to ask the status of the battery swap. The employee said he would check on it. We saw him go to the back of the store, and a few minutes later he walked out and past us to the front of the store and never gave us a status. 4. We waited for a while and I stopped another employee and same story "oh, it's probably ready, so let me check on it". That employee didn't come back from the back for a while. 5. After patiently waiting I got another employee and asked why there was such a disorganized process there. There's no way to find out the status of a repair or whatever a person is there for and the employees have no customer service skills whatsoever. When asked about the process we were told it takes an hour for a batter sway. So why does it take over 2 hours to get a phone back? Unsatisfactory. When we asked an employee for the store manager's name was the answer was that he didn't know the manager's full name - WTH??? 6. There are nothing buy snotty nosed "kids" in there who don't know how to treat or attend to customers' needs - what a disarray of unknowledgeable employees. Yes, the might be tech savy, but no people skills whatsover. I hope we never have to deal with that store again - APPLE this is a disgrace to your brand! read more

Apple Products are fantastic.expensive but fantastic. I recently bought an iPhone and i'm not sure how i ever managed to live without it. Previously i owned an ipod nano and i used it every time i went to the gym. The store is really a great place to preview any apple product you are remotely interested in. However my compliments stop there. I've never once been greeted upon entrance in the store. Usually i see some guys just standing around talking about what awesome party they went to. I have on every occasion had to actively seek out someone to answer my questions about the products. Maybe apple is so confident in their product they don't care about customer service being a factor in your purchase. On my last visit a mom asked me to help her with ipod accessories because no employee would help her. I should have made apple pay me for helping that nice lady. Honestly as far as i'm concerned when i purchase my iMac i'll just do it online and avoid the store. read more

Came in yesterday for a check up on my iPhone 6. I checked in with an apple employee and told me to wait at the Genius Bar for technician to come. It took about five minutes. He asked what the problem was and and told him the side switch is turning on off on its own. He gladly replaced my iPhone 6 for free since I'm under the one year warranty. It took about 15-20 minutes tops for the appointment. I was surprised how fast it took but got great service. If you want faster service make sure your iCloud is up and running as well as your backup. Also make an appointment in advance so you won't have to be waiting. read more

Shame on APPLE!!!!!! I have been a longtime Apple/Mac/iPhone lover. I use the "cloud" for my backup. Last year I had multiple warnings that my phone wasnt backing up at night like it was set to do. I pay for this storage, monthly, a small amount, but that is not the point. After a bit I called into Apple support. I was told that it was a known issue they were working on. OK. Fine. Fast forward 4 months, still no backing up, monthly fee still coming out of account. This sometimes complacent single Mom finally calls in again. Speak to a nice gentleman who opens a "ticket". Never hear back from him. In the mean time, my iPhone goes on the fritz, I have to go buy an external hard drive to back up phone for 100 dollars before they replace my defective phone! Soon after, the "cloud" I am still paying for begins to do its nightly backups. That was April. Now it has stopped working AGAIN, no back up since first week of June. All the while still paying each month..... I call in again (all previous issues have been logged through support) and am told that it is a known issue they are working on. The only thing they can do for me is offer me a CREDIT to purchase merchandise!!!!!!!!!! So, to correct their problem they offer me a solution that puts more money in their POCKET!!!!!! Or I can cancel..... Pretty sure this was the straw that broke the camels back, sadly, next phone/laptop upgrade will most likely be to the OTHER side. read more

ugh. The only reason you'd come here to shop, i.e. actually purchase something, is because you hate yourself and are a masochist who enjoys feeling insignificant. Dont get me wrong, I enjoy Apple products as much as the next person. They're a solid product. However the service at this particular location sucks. Now if you're not ready to buy yet, maybe need a little test drive with an apple product....well good luck with that too. You'll have to wrangle your way past the Mexican nationals, obnoxious teenagers and various other mouth breathers to go for a spin on a laptop. I made the mistake of going in-store to buy a laptop. I knew exactly what I wanted, I was ready to pay. I expected to waltz right up to the counter, tell em what I needed, pay and leave. But noooo...I had to check in with the girl on the ipad. Then I had to wait an hour for the salesguy to answer simple questions from clueless shoppers, who might have benefited by doing a little research before coming to the store. Then when the saleskid finally got to me, it took me about 2 seconds to tell him what kind of laptop I wanted to buy and another half hour for him to get me the lap top from the back. So there I am staring at apple acessories as the kid keeps comingout from the back empty handed, walking right past me with nary a "Sorry for the wait sir" or any indication that I signed in with the ipad girl for a reason. I'm just saying that...when I'm ready to drop over a grand an a lousy laptop, i dont expect to wait around for an hour and a half. anyway save yourself he headache and just buy your apple stuff online if you can help it at all. read more

I spoke with the Store Leader (I think that is right) and he said it should have been disclosed to me before completely switching out to a new phone and been given the option. This makes more sense to me, looks like it was the fault of a technician. At any rate, supposed to go there this week and get refunded the difference of screen cost/replacement device. They have you wait at the front for someone that has a handheld to check you out. You wait and wait and wait. Made me wait for crazy 45 minutes. When I happened to ask one of the techs whether I was forgotten, she checked with someone and told me I was next. Okay! I was next after next 20 minutes. What is the purpose of appointments then? I wonder how long would I have waited if I just walked in? My iPhone battery issue was resolved but I spent about 2 and a half hours there. Trash! Absolute TRASH! Not only did I call the store to ask about coming in and set an appointment, I was told not to worry about an appointment because they were not busy. By iPhone X, had suddenly shut down on Saturday while on vacation, I couldn't access any of the tickets I had bought, and I go we needed because I needed the phone since it was on it. When I shows up at 4pm! With two hours left till close time, without many people in the store, I was told they couldn't help me, because it was "too close to closing".... two hours left, and the customer support guy in the front, told me, it was too late to help me. Come back earlier tomorrow..... I've been an Apple Supporter and user for over a decade, I've probably sold more Apple Devices by word of mouth than any in store rep ever has. I pay for Apple Care, because it's always been a breeze, and the quickest way to get help on my products. Ten years +c of Apple store service, visits, and just browsing when I'm in a mall and there is one... this was by far the laziest experience I received. Because two hours left in the day, wasn't enough to do a ten min diagnosis and swap of a mechanical failure of my phone. Which was the diagnosis today in Houston at the Apple Store in Willowbrook Mall location. What sets Apple apart is not just premium products and an ecosystem that has us drawn to it. The CUSTOMER SERVICE, is a huge part of it, and it's why we will pay the premium for Apple Care vice insurance via our providers. Customer Service in general at Apple Store Locations seem to have been dwindling now for a bit... but this one, in a situation in which ten minutes could have saved my weekend trip with my wife... spoke volumes. Granted, I bought an iPad mini and got some of what I needed to download from iCloud backup. Nonetheless, this branch, needs to revisit some of the Apple Customer Service 101 mandates that have made them the most recognizable company in the world. Went in twice for iPhone and Mac support - great people, very patient and helpful.

The question might be asked why I am Apple stores so often? Well, many of my customers require products from these stores for their offices. This being said, I have a love/hate relationship with the stores. I have been able to build a solid business relationship with the stores for my customers. In this sense, they're great. Now if I need something, god forbid it isn't in the front. I've come to be an avid user of the Apple Store App to get in and out. Many locations, especially this Northstar one, are impossible to get a living person. When you do, you're in luck. I'll keep coming as a fan and business customer. I will definitely keep using technology to my full advantage to keep myself sane! read more

I don't know who the gentleman that helped me(he was wearing a grey shirt), I asked him if they print things out .. and he said no.. but what is that you need printed.? After I'd Been waiting for 30 minutes while watching 1/2 of the staff at the store walk around talking to their friends and joking around while customers are sitting and waiting, I asked for help from an employee. He rudely referred me to his supervisor who was already himself still playing video games on his iPad. Many of the employees, not all of them, seem to be busy either playing video games on the big monitors or chatting up their friends instead of helping customers who are waiting. Find a different Apple store to go to. This one is terrible. read more

I really appreciate the service here. When they get to you. Unfortunately this is the only apple store in this area so it is always very busy. No Matter what time you go, or if you made an appointment or not. If you go armed with the knowledge that you will be surfing the Web on their computers while you wait, at least Youll get a little bit of work done, instead of just raising your blood pressure. So just be patient and prepared to wait at least an hour. And you're good. read more

First time EVER in an Apple store! Gotta say it was a GREAT experience! I didn't catch the "Steve jobs" looking dudes name(no offense) in the white converse that signed me in but he was hella cool, he did his job very well. Joked around and actually made me feel like he was pleased that I came into their location. The tech that helped me I believe his name was Johnathon, was awesome. Friendly, helpful and knowledgeable! I love the Apple Store concept, and have never failed to get great support, accurate information, and great products. There's usually a little bit of a wait, but I DON'T MIND! What other company supports their products with free Genius Bar appointments? I took a friend's four year old computer in for help recently...they helped reinstall the OS and spent 45 minutes helping us get it up to speed...it ran faster when we got there, and was like a brand new computer. Worst customer service EVER!!! I was having trouble with my phone glitching so I brought it in and they told me they replaced the screen, when I get home turn my phone on and finally get to look at it I was still having the same glitch. so here I am again today I told apple I was having the same issue they told me give me an hour and a half they were gonna do another reset so I gave him the hour and a half and when I came back they said the same thing they replace the screen so I checked right there in front of them and it was still glitching. they said they were gonna go ahead and warranty the phone and they did they gave me a phone but said they couldn't connect it for me so I got home and called my carrier to get it connected and it they told me that the phone was locked through another carrier so I came back and once again (45 min. Drive) t the lady that helped us and said they would take care of us and set it up for us because our carriers just like that they do that all the time so we get there we're waiting for about 45 minutes finally they help us out and tell us there's nothing they can do for us that we will have to take it to our carrier so we get to our carrier store with eight minutes to spare and they do everything they can and there's nothing they can do it's not on them it's through a different carrier so here I am back at Apple and they're just giving me the runaround they do not want to help at all had I have known I was going to go through all this I would've just kept the phone it was working but glitching so not the best customer service warranty department isn't great and also I may be switching to android read more

If only I could give negative stars for this review. First off the store was crazy disorganized when I came in. There was lines set up and nobody actually in charge of the lines me and another customer stood waiting for someone to approach us for a few minutes and when no one did we found an actual worker. Despite me attempting to flag down three separate workers the first two seeing me and quickly walking away before I could attempt to speak to them I finally found a third. The man that signed me in gave me an hour wait time which I accepted since I had no other choice. I asked three times what time I was supposed to return and three times he said it was the accurate time. I returned an hour later and walked up to the genius bar to be helped only to be told I was 22 minutes late for my appointment to which I was visibly upset and told the man behind the counter I was told three times that this was the accurate time. He told me my appointment was given away and laughed about it. I was then told I would be helped by the next available tech only because I was already clearly iterated with the service I have been receiving. I waited another ten minutes for the next tech who spent another ten minutes asking me questions about the phone which was not working due to an Apple quality error as I was told. He then ran the test to see if it was the quality error which took another ten minutes and finally he told me my phone would be shipped off to be fixed for free. I was then given a loaner phone which was the iPhone 6 even though I have an iPhone 7 I was given a downgrade which has already crashed on me twice and is at least 5 times slower than my phone. This is by far the worst experience I've ever had not only in an Apple store but any store I have ever gone to in this city. Considering how much Apple charges for the products even though mine broke to an issue out of my control it's unbelievable that I was forced to deal with this. The workers are terribly slow and spent more time talking to each other than helping the customers. Customer service jobs are no fun I get it but considering all I did was show up for a ten minute diagnostic to then get my phone shipped out it's amazing that I was there for over two hours. I urge others to not use this store and abandon Apple products in total if this is how they treat their customers. In closing worst store experience, horribly disorganized and the the crew was just talking about when their shift was going to end instead of actually working.
