They proved themselves very courteous, professional and kind. We had a couple of issues at first with the scooter but Josh and Freeley were a phone call away and swapped out unit wherever we were within the hour of our call. I highly recommend them. read more

I rented 2 scooters for the week I was at Disney. Made it through a day and a half before I started having issues with them. After several calls to them I had them exchanged but still have issues. Batteries are to last 8 hours but after about 6 hours the battery died. Way to many issues cutting into my vacation fun. read more

This company did not meet our expectations for the cost of the service they offer. We made a reservation online for a delivery the following morning. We had a confirmation number and it all seemed good. 10 minutes after the delivery was supposed to be made, I called to check on the situation. The rep told me that all of the scooters in the model we reserved were sold out and the best she could do was to get us the next model up (at the same cost) would be available around noon. We began to express our disappointments and she cancelled our reservation and hung up on us. I called back and asked to speak the manager. He said that their company would no longer do business with us. He told me that we made the reservation after the company was closed. My question to him was why did the website allow us to reserve something that was sold out. His answer was that the company is small and isn't big like Disney so they don't have parameters set like that. I asked why I was the one that had to call to find out why the scooter had not been delivered and he again reminded me that the company is small and his employees had not had time to call all of the online reservations to let them know if there was an issue. I asked if there was a way to provide customer feedback so that the company can make improvements. He said I was doing it. Overall, both of the people we dealt with immediately became defensive rather than remaining calm and attempting to remedy the situation. We were being charged over $100 for a two day rental. We have rented scooters from Apple multiple times and have had no problems. They even made an exception for us one year and let us pick up 2 scooters at their location for a single day usage. The scooters are well used but always worked fine. Today we had a problem for the first time. The switch that locks and unlocks the wheels would not stay locked. Any bump would unlock the wheels and the scooter just stopped. We were at Epcot, way out in World Showcase. I called to see what we should do... Maybe they had a suggestion of a fix we could try? We were afraid we would have to go to them... Or wait for them to deliver another one the next day. They could not have been more helpful! He asked specifically where I was and told me they would bring a replacement to me right away! And this was in the middle of the busiest season at Disney with all the traffic and crowds that brings. Within an hour I got a call from the driver. He was on his way. I had a show to go to at about the time he would get there. He asked exactly where I parked it, told me to enjoy the show and left a voice mail to tell me the switch had been made. We could not believe how they went above and beyond to take care of our problem. I will always rent from Apple! read more

Okay...i usually rent from Buena Vista or Clouds of Goods but this time i decided to try Apple because the insurance was included...Welp some deals are not always good deals...lol 1st things first. I had 2 scooters and they were very worn and torn..pieces of the body was either cracked or completely gone, arms broken or wouldn't stay on and one was missing a battery bag so had to keep the battery in the front basket... one would not hold a charge so i decided to just leave that one behind so that it could fully charge so 1 pd day was wasted(...and no it was not refunded)... so the next morning headed to a character breakfast with both scooters.. once unloaded the same scooter would not go at all... now im frustrated so i contacted the company for them to replace it and i informed them i was unable to use it one whole day... the staff was pleasant and immediately got someone scheduled to come out to our exact location so once we finished our meal the scooter was actually changed out and was better looking than the first one... the last day and a 1/2 of our trip we literally had to plug in at every stop we made and they both had to be pushed up the ramp to the monorail because the battery was not strong enough...they were both dead or dying when i took them to the bell station at the hotel for pick up... whew...NEVER AGAIN FROM APPLE SCOOTER AND I DO NOT... I REPEAT DO NOT RECOMMEND. They will receive NO STARS.(but i have to select a star before it let me post so i will give it a 1 star but yall know it really get no stars...lol) read more

Gave one because you can't give zero! Ordered scooter delivered to my hotel on Thurs Noon fully charged did not use it til the next day unfortunately. Got to Disney was just inside the gate and the scooter conks out. Still reads fully charged so it the battery is shot. Call the office told I will get a new scooter. It gonna take an hour or hour and a half! Could I just walk around til they get there? Really?! Ask them to let me rent a Disney and reimburse ohhh no! Day at Disney was a big fail. Fast passes were gone crowds were huge and one hour and forty mins later the cart was delivered. Then they didn't leave a charger with it. Told me they would have it there by 7pm got there 10 am. Told I would get a refund got 21. Full bill was 111.00 for 3 24hour periods. That would be $37. Ok benefit of the doubt 4 days $27. Too annoyed to even ask. Besides waiting 4 weeks for the refund didn't even give the correct amount. Will never use again. Shoddy business practice. read more

I would give this company a minus rating if possible. I reserved a scooter from them for a Disney vacation resort time. The first scooter was totally defective, scratched, dented, covering torn and all of ignition came out when turning key. It was "fully charged" and lasted less than thirty minutes. The replacement again had torn arm coverings and scrapes. Its full charge lasted all of less than two hours. Needless to say I cancelled this scooter company and requested and then had to insist on a refund. Waiting to see if it will be issued. Please beware of this company. read more

We had a very positive experience renting a scooter and a stroller last week at Disney World. The items were dropped off as promised. We had no breakdowns or other issues. It was a bit difficult to adjust the speed selector on the scooter and an operation manual would be helpful. The stroller was in good shape. It was a little hard to pull the handle to collapse the device, but it worked fine otherwise. We were very pleased and would rent from Apple Scooter in the future. read more

If I could give this company ZERO STARS I WOULD! I have never been treated and spoken to so poorly in my life! I am absolutely STUNNED that these people are in the customer service business! The person from Apple Scooter called to say he was 15 minutes away. We agreed we would meet in the front lobby in 15 minutes because he said he wasn't allowed to bring the scooter to the back of the property where my room was. I am handicap so I don't move as quick as others (hence the need for the scooter) and I didn't realize what a LONG WALK it was from the back of the resort all the way to the front so I didn't make it in 20 minutes. Apparently I took too long for him so he left. That's it. No call. No "where are you"? He just left. I couldn't believe it. When I called him to ask where he was he told me he left. I took too long and he had places to be. Still needing the scooter, I offered to DRIVE TO HIM TO PICK UP MY SCOOTER SO HE DIDN'T HAVE TO COME BACK HERE and my family could start our day and he VERY RUDELY told me he had "other places to be" and was not willing to meet with me to pick up the scooter and wouldn't be back to me for 3+ hours IF I STILL WANTED IT!! Apparently he was gonna teach me a lesson on what waiting feels like. ‍I mean WHO DOES THIS?!!! When I called to complain to the main office It got WORSE! The person in charge, Stephanie, who was waiting for my call ended up SCREAMING at me telling me she deleted my reservation because I was mad that her guy left! ‍ Again.... Don't rent from here !! Rented a double stroller & wheelchair for week at Disney. Stroller was falling apart- buckle to safely secure child on one side was broken. Wheelchair was bent on one side towards seat not allowing for any sort of comfort while sitting in seat. Upon returning rentals when we were asked how it went and explained we were told you should have called we would have brought you a new one a slight detail that was not given upon picking up rentals. My family and I have used Apple multiple times in the past without issue, so I did not read any reviews before renting with them this month for a Disneyland trip. That was a huge mistake. The Anaheim technician does not have quality inventory, does not return calls or texts for days (and then it is too late) and the main office makes promises that the Anaheim office cannot keep. Needless to say, I spend 1/3 of my 3 days in Disneyland pushing the scooter back to the hotel because it would just die, sitting in Disneyland park charging the scooter or setting and resetting the manual switch because it would just freeze up. The Anaheim tech finally contacted me on the last day and offered to bring me a new scooter that was returned for battery issues (how is that supposed to help). Then the main office said that Anaheim would have 2 working scooters at noon, but the Anaheim tech did not bring them because ... THE BATTERIES WERE DEAD AND THEY NEEDED 6-8 HOURS TO CHARGE. We are sitting at pop Century waiting for our scooters to be delivered. I ordered for scooters over a week ago for pop century. They delivered them to the Polynesian hotel. I called when we arrived at 11:30 and someone was supposed to call me back. No one has called.I have called three times and they're still no one here all I am getting is the runaround. Apple Scooter, also known as Orlando Scooter Rental, were more than helpful. I made the reservation a couple of months in advance and called to confirm a couple of weeks before our actual trip. Then I changed the rental dates slightly, but they were very accommodating. When I was running late (stuck in traffic on I-95) and hadn't showed up by closing time on the day I was to pick it up, they called me to arrange for me to pick it up first thing the next morning. The scooter was charged and ready, and it was very easy to break down to put in the back of our vehicle. We had no problem with the battery life, but if we had, a dedicated tech was in the parks and would be dispatched to assist if we had any trouble. They made it possible for my family to take my mom to the Magic Kingdom for her 71st birthday. read more

Instead, they promised a refund and three months later, I can't reach these people to give me my refund. We visited Disney World in Orlando and needed a scooter for our rental. The scooter was delivered to the hotel as promised. We got to the park and the scooter lasted about an hour and then died. I called the company and they had a driver deliver a new battery. That battery only lasted about an hour. We ended up having to push the scooter out of the park because it would not work. I was very disappointed and will never use this company or recommend them to anyone. read more

We have rented from Apple Scooters a few times for my father-in-law - before his knee replacement and after. We have never had an issue - it's been great! Before we ever rented from them I checked out all the company's and even asked people in the parks how happy - or not they were with their scooter. Apple reviews were the best, and it seemed like their scooters were not as beat up as some of the others. I would highly recommend them to anyone - if something does come up just call them - they are close by - and they will replace the scooter - I did ask about that....what if??....... I wish I would have read the reviews before renting from them. My first stroller was not clean like they said and it didn't fold up when I needed it to but did collapse when my kids were in it. I called and they met me with a different stroller and that one was worse than the first. It was in a bag that showed they pretended to clean it but it was not. It had chocolate in the seat and glitter all over it. While this one did not collapse with my kid in it it was impossible to close when I needed to get on the buses. I called to complain and left a message with the answering machine and no one called me back. Just a horrible experience. I will be calling my credit card company to fight the charge and never using them again! read more

I rented a scooter for my mother for our 8 day trip to Disney World. She is not very mobile on the best of days so a scooter was a must for a place like WDW. I know there have been bad reviews of this place. Our experience with the scooters themselves wasn't perfect either, but this is a company dealing with mobility devices that get heavy usage. They aren't going to be in pristine condition. The scooters we used (we had to use two different scooters as the first one died completely after only one hour after having a full nights charge) were showing pretty apparent signs of wear, but we weren't so concerned about looks. We just wanted them to hold a charge for a full day at the parks as advertised. To Apple Scooters credit they had someone to our resort immediately. They brought a replacement with an upgraded chair, which my mother greatly appreciated! We found the company very responsive and easy to work with. The scooters themselves are little difficult to get the hang of initially. They don't have breaks. You just let go of the throttle. This leads to pretty abrupt starts and stops. You also have to turn a dial on the control panel to increase or decrease the top speed. It's not a super smooth driving experience to say the least. When you have Disney level crowds and people who very rudely step in front of scooters and/or stop short without checking around them it can lead to some harrowing moments for the driver. My mom was a nervous wreck most of the time. This is not the fault of the company however. It's the fault of whomever designed the scooters. Also, the bigger of the two "transportable" scooters is hardly an easy 123 dismantle and get it into the vehicle situation. That scooter is unbelievably heavy. I couldn't lift the base off the ground. I couldn't even budge it a little bit and lift it up slightly. My husband struggled to lift it and he is a very fit guy. He had to come up with a system of getting the lighter half up on the ledge of our vehicle so he could lift the rest inside. Be aware of this when choosing a scooter. The more expensive of the two vehicle friendly scooters is exceedingly heavy. The last day of our trip the scooter started to give up. After a full night of charge, again it started to die on us after less than hour. We had to plug it in (Just outside the door of merchants of venus in Magic Kingdom in case anyone needs that info! The Stitch ride side!). Even after a long plug in session we had to push a bit to keep it moving. We finally made it to he monorail and then to our car. Then we dropped it at Bell Services and that was that. Overall our experience was good. We had a problem and Apple Scooter was very responsive and we had a new scooter within minutes of the call and it lasted us the rest of our vacation until the end. I would definitely use Apple Scooter again. read more

Can't express how pleased I am with Apple and one of their drivers Joe. The scooter has been a great help to my 77 yr old mother. Great size and easy to maneuver and the prices are great. On the 3rd day there was an issue with the battery. Called the.ain number. He has a driver, Joe call me right back. He met us inside the fantasmic show in under 10 minutes and had us all fixed up. My daughter is a gymnast and injured both her feet, so we needed a scooter for our day park visit. I had the email confirmation but evidently I didn't put a credit card down so it didn't get delivered on time. However, I called and she had a scooter delivered to me within the hour. It was a great little scooter, perfect size for her, and battery lasted all day. All you do is pick it up and drop it off at the bell desk of your resort. Very reasonably priced, and so convenient. After a terrible slip and fall this company was given to us by the hotel. I filled out the form online to rent a wheelchair for the rest of our stay. I even got a confirmation number and amount to be charged on my credit card. Reservation instructions the whole 9 yards. It was an easy process and I thought everything was golden until the next morning--no wheelchair. No knowledge of it at the front desk. When I call I'm informed "Oh yeah our guys don't come in for another hour" in spite the hours of operations saying they open at 8am. (I called at 8:30am asking where it was) Then they said my credit card hadn't been charged they actually don't deliver to that hotel anymore. Shouldn't you say something on the page? I recently rented a wheelchair from Apple Scooters for our Disney World Vacation. The first chair was in horrible shape. Both of the arms were split open, one was duct taped together, the other had sharp tears in the arm! My husband called and reported it and they brought us s second chair. This one had a front wheel that wobbled & turned sideways, getting caught up on bumps. It was far from a comfortable ride or experience. The other problem with this wheel chair was the left brake. The brake was missing the rubber handle, it also kept shifting forward toward the wheel & locking up the left side while we were pushing it. At times the seat or left side would also shift and close in on me when we hit a bump. This was a Very Disappointing experience! We won't be using Apple for our next vacation! read more

These people are the worst! We rented a scooter from them for my husband who has a condition that he cannot walk, thus scooter just left us stranded in the middle of Disney Springs super far from the Bus loading zone where we needed to go to get back to our resort. Nevermind that the display said 2 seconds before it died that it had a full charge. I mean completely charged and then suddenly stops. We noticed the scooter had an issue at Animal Kingdom when my husband turned on the key and the display said it was fully charged but the scooter refused to move...he would have to turn it off and on a few times before it would go. This scooter also looks like it's been to hell and back, the seat is all torn the handles are missing chunks of rubber and it's all scratched up. This particular scooter is BLUE and has the number 166 written on it on the column. So of course, we were stranded at Disney Springs and we are calling them and no one answers, the call rolls over to a mailbox which the voice-mail is NOT set up to take messages much rather asks you to log in if you have a voice-mail on the system. These people are horrible. This is NOT the service I paid for. I will be calling them in the morning to ask for a full refund. They are NOT reliable and I cannot trust that they will bring us a fully functional scooter. Such a shame. I will also be filing a complaint with the better business bureau next. My mother in law used their scooter for 8 days- she has trouble walking as she has a new(ish) hip and needs the other replaced. The first day everything was fine- we explored Downtown Downtown Disney and made it back to our resort without any troubles. We went to Epcot on Friday (around 10) and explored the main area first before going out into the 'Countries'. around 4 we were ''half way around the world'' so to speak when our troubles began. She started noticing her lights going from full green down to yellow while she was in motion- then when she stopped it would go back to fully charged. We didn't think much of it since she had been using it for about 7 hours already. when we got around the back side of the Countries she began getting nervous that the lights were no longer returning to full charge. She spent the remainder of our visit at Epcot worried that she may not make it back to the bus, not exactly how we wanted her to spend her vacation and first trip to Disney. I tried to re-assure her, telling her that the website stated 18 hours of use and that no one would give a person with mobility issues a faulty scooter. We did end up making it through that day, although it was a very slow go on the way back as there was little to no charge left. I would like to make sure you know that we were charging it nightly, she was always turning it off when she was stopped- even for just a short stop when she didn't get off the scooter, she never turned it all the way up and rarely turned the dial up to half speed, and she is well within the recommended weight limit at 240 lbs. This scooter was good for 300+. We took Saturday off and pretty much left the scooter in the room to charge, we made sure to take the charger with us to Magic Kingdom on Sunday--- and I'm sure glad we did. She made it half way through the day before we needed to charge it as the same problem was repeating. So at lunch we charged the scooter- Fine, not a big deal. long story short- my husband had to push her and the scooter out of the park and it died TWICE as we were putting it on the ramp to the bus. She was absolutely MORTIFIED. Then we had to push her back to the room. She didn't even want to go to the other parks with us. She was leery in the first place about renting a scooter- she thought it was embarrassing, but then she really like it until everything started to go wrong. Oh and to make matters worse, at night I had to walk in front of her while my husband pushed her because her headlight was broken as well! UGH! Same story for Hollywood studios- she had to sit outside of a bathroom for almost an hour to charge the battery so we could make it home. Again, very embarrassing as people walked by and stared at us as we sat there- not to mention the fun we were missing as the rest of our family enjoyed rides and shows. Animal Kingdom was a little better but it still died getting on the bus and we were only there 10 hours. She had the rental for 3 more hours but she was so mortified that she took it straight to where we dropped off and had to spend the remaining 3 hours of her vacation in our room instead of enjoying the rest of the trip. She loved the vacation but this put such a damper on her. As i write this I am mad at myself as well for not contacting them the first time it happened. That's on me, but hindsight is always so much easier to judge. However, sending an old handicapped lady a faulty piece of equipment is no fault of ours. I don't complain either. I'm not one of those people that complains just to do it, we are happy, good people. She was mortified. I have never been on YELP! but i really hope this helps someone else! read more

WRONG SCOOTER TYPE delivered, VERY POOR customer service, LOST A DAY'S VACATION!!!! DO NOT rent from this company! The scooter (delivered prior to my arrival @ hotel) was NOT a portable model, and NOT WHAT I SPECIFICALLY ordered. I chose the portable scooter (breaks down into several parts) on their webpage, but I received one that did not break down at all. It could not be transported in a car/van. The heavy unit was USELESS to me. I tried calling the company, and reached a recording twice, left urgent messages. CALLS WERE NOT RETURNED. This company has ZERO CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! THE NEXT DAY, I finally reached a "live" person. There was NO APOLOGY AT ALL from them, just an excuse that their van had broken down and they would exchange the unit "later." By the time I spoke to ALEX, my family had already left without me due to reserved, prepaid vacation activities. I missed an entire day of vacation activities because of their mistake, not to mention the aggravation all this had caused. I told ALEX to CANCEL the rental, since at this point I did not trust this company to follow through on anything. Despite my instructions, my credit card was charged anyway. I am now disputing the charge. My advice is to STAY FAR AWAY from them! read more

I would never rent from this company again, I rented for 7 days. MY Scooter died of me two time after charging it all night+, wasting a few hours away from family while recharging (on May 9, 2019) at Magic Kingdom. Resolution: after missing Supper with family, they sent a replacement Scooter. And was left without help at (May 10 2019) at Hollywood Studios after calling several times (my scooter made it to entrance before it died and I charged it once at the park and charged and told they would send someone to meet me at entrance of HS and charged again while waiting on HELP, nobody came at all. I had to be escorting to bus stop by a security Officer "Wayne" & my husband (69y). I was staying at OKW resort with family and left it once I got there with Bell Service (I could not even get the scooter on the bus the driver has to get in on and off) I called and talked to Doug at Apple Scooter in Florida on May 11 and said I would get a refund of $51.40 for the trouble. And another replacement Scooter, after third try I did receive a newer type model and that worked fine and did not have to re-charge after a few hours of use, but should not had to loose time with FAMILY to re-charge Scooter. As of today May 27 NO REFUND after call several times and talking to both Doug and Stephanie (not sure on spelling) All in all it was most likely a bad charger that I was given that I charged in room all night. Disney is to expensive for these headaches. I will NEVER rent form this company again. And we rented stroller in the past. And company was recommended by Walt Disney World? When I found out they don't provide extra batteries or the ability to rent an extra scooter battery, I cancelled my reservation. Was never sent a confirmation that the rental had been cancelled. Even when I called twice to ask for something to be emailed to me confirming that I had canceled my reservation, they indicated that they could not do that!?!?!?!? Not having a confirmation that the reservation was cancelled is a bit unnerving since they have my credit card info and could still charge my account and claim that I never cancelled because I dont have proof that I cancelled the order. Renting from Apple Scooter was a huge mistake!!! I rented a scooter for my mom for our recent Disney World vacation. (She usually uses a wheelchair at theme parks or malls) The scooter was delivered on time and things seemed great...until 4 hours into our first day at the park and it died. So we stopped and charged it for an hour...not a big deal and since I wasn't the one to charge it I figured I couldn't really blame them. Then on our way from Epcot to the Polynesian hotel it died again!!! So I called Apple and they were great on the phone...agreed to meet us at the Poly and exchange the scooter. So while we are at dinner they replaced the scooter...I never even saw the technician, he didn't want to disturb our dinner. Everything seemed great...until we left with the new scooter and before we even got to our hotel an hour later it had died! I ended up having to push my mom in a scooter to her hotel room!!! AWFUL!!!!!! But I figured we'd charge it and see how it worked!!!! After charging the scooter all night it only lasted 4 hours in the park the next day when I had to push it backwards out of line!!!!!! it took more than 2 hours for them to bring a replacement that day!!!! I was done!!!! I told them I needed them to replace the scooter and I would be returning it to the hotel bell desk the next day and wanted a refund!!!! I immediately booked with another company (Buena Vista...a little more expensive, but no problems). Then it took over a week to get a refund because the guy I talked to and told I was done with the scooter and they could pick it up...never put any notes or told anyone!!!! But I finally got a refund for the days not used. The service wasn't bad...it's the product!!!! Pay the extra money it's worth not having problems!!! read more

Unfortunately very disappointed. After reading their website it says "Your stroller delivered clean and wrapped." This was definelty not the case. When we arrived to pick it up at the bell services it was not wrapped. It was a very old and dirty stroller that was not laundered as their website states. The netting under the stroller that is supposed to be extra storage was ripped and sagging. I figured this must be the way the strollers are when you rent them around Disney. That was until we got to the parks and saw that the other rental strollers were clean, much newer and they also had a rain shield! This was not offered to us which would have been very helpful considering it rained quite a bit one day we were in the parks. I would strongly urge you to not rent from this company and go with a different one. From what I saw in the parks there are much better stroller rental company's. I will never rent from this company again. read more

We brought my parents on a trip to Disney World as we do every year. They were afraid this might be their last year as they are getting less and less mobile. Apple Scooters changed all that! I see the bad reviews on here and I am actually wondering if maybe it's the stroller rentals that people are having difficulty with? When we got to our resort, we realized BOTH my parents were going to need a scooter (they just couldn't even keep up at the resort let alone trying to tackle Disney) so we asked the concierge and they recommended some companies. I called Apple and they had 2 scooters delivered THAT SAME DAY and charged LESS for the entire week than Disney would have charged for 3 days. We were able to drop them back in the same place with concierge, pay over the phone and my parents both had a nice vacation that I MUST give some credit to Apple for :) read more

Recently we visited Disney, and your scooters made our visit more enjoyable. We had a few troubles to start out with regarding the batteries and the charging of them, but you were very quick to resolve our problems. The scooters were there as promised for the days that we needed them and we would recommend your scooters to anyone else visiting Disney and if we return, we will be using your scooters again. read more

One of the worst companies I have ever worked with. Took our reservations in late 2014. Paid for the reservations in mid January 2015. Arrived in Orlando on Feb 7th at 8pm to find no scooter at our hotel. Called 6 times in the night with no response and unable to leave a VM. I the had to jump on line at 10pm and find another company to bring us a scooter in the am so we did not loose a day at the park. A horrible night or travel across the US to then have to re-book. Luckily some one was working late at another company doing the books and they helped us out in a pinch. Come to find out that they called me on my cell on the 6th while getting ready to leave via a New York number I did not notice has called until the 7th to tell me the day before our trip that our hotel was out of their delivery area. Had been dealing with them for 4 months and the day before we leave is the day they tell us, sorry can not deliver. read more
