Update: I want to revise my review because of the excellent customer service I received. I got a phone call from Konni as soon as she found out there was an issue with the second scooter. She apologized and allowed me to express my concerns without argument. She gave truly great customer care and told me a third scooter had already been pulled from the wharehouse and was on the way. Apparently the second one was just whatever the guy had on the truck. Being a holiday weekend, I am so appreciative of her going the extra mile as I know they must be swamped. The new scooter is perfect and runs much better than the others. Idefinitely recommend this company. They have done right by me and I am grateful for not getting the brush off. Initial review below: Rented a Maxima scooter for today 9/1-9/4 . I am about 140 lbs below the limit so this ecv should handle me fine, but the one waiting for me at Shades of Green was so squeaky and loud it was giving me a headache. Called and customer service was very nice and sent someone right away. The gentlemen came with a new scooter within an hour, and everyone was so pleasant I wish I could leave a good review, but I can't. I showed the employee what was going on and how noisy the first one was, and he literally said to me that "A lot of them do that." I rent a scooter every time I come to Walt Disney World, and I come every other month. Never have I had one make any noises like this. I told him I would be returning the second scooter if it made noise too, but when I drove it I had no issues. Until I rounded the corner and of course, squeaky loud noises coming from the left rear wheel drive area (the first one has same issue but coming from rear right area) The scooter itself has seen better days and chunks are cut out of the wheels, I'm not sure what the issue is exactly , but I just finished driving 13 hours and I'm too exhausted to do anything other than drive this thing for the next few days. Its a shame really because everyone I have talked to there is kind, like I said I would love to recommend this place. But I can't, and I won't rent from them again. read more

There was only one arm rest, the seat cushion was coming undone at the seams, and here was a switch on the back that clearly was missing. Super Experience AGAIN!!! This Company keeps providing me scooters that hold a charge ALL DAY at Disney World, unlike their competitor that I used in the past. Although the Scooter was a bit beat-up this time ... looks like the last customer had a run in with some walls with it ... it held the charge all day long. I assume Best Price Mobility must keep replacing old batteries that do not hold a charge. When you are doing the theme parks with a grandchild, you don't want to have to find some place to charge the scooter every two hours. A 7 year old does not want to sit down and wait 30 minutes every two hours while it recharges again long enough to get in line for another ride. Thank you Best Price Mobility for providing my granddaughter and I with another perfect vacation. I am returning in one week for my daughter's marathon and know I will have no problem with the scooter again. Injured my ankle/heal area during a trip to WDW and my foot was swollen. So I called here about renting a knee walker for the remainder of our stay. They have good rates, they delivered it by 9am to the Boardwalk the next morning and it worked perfectly. The walker was solidly made and functioned perfectly. Their customer service was very understanding, knowledgeable and worked with me through every step. At the end of our trip we transferred over to the Grand Floridian and they picked it up at the new location. I highly recommend this business. read more

Just finished a weeks rental. Had a gout flare up in my foot just a couple days before leaving for trip, and ordered the scooter the day before arrival. Did a quick search, and this company was much less expensive than the couple places I checked (by about half). Very easy ordering over the phone with a very nice lady. Scooter was waiting at my resort ready to go when I arrived as promised. Used the scooter every/all day at Disney parks with no problems at all. Great customer service, they had a replacement key to us inside Magic Kingdom within 30 minutes. The Victory 10 was charged when we picked it up at the Bell Captains Stand at the Grand Floridian and lasted a full day at the park. I would highly recommend. read more

We rented two scooters when we visited WDW. We were very pleased with having dependable scooters that kept a charge all day. They rode comfortable, had a fan ,a phone holder and a phone charger. The Gold Mobility person delivered and picked them up from us. The delivery person gave us a card to call 24/7 if we had any problems . The delivery person was very friendly and gave us all the information we needed. Wonder service for over half the price we paid for another scooter. Highly recommended. I was sitting at the outpost waiting for a bus at Fort Wilderness. My husband and I were discussing whether I'd be able to get a scooter at the magic kingdom so late in the morning, when I saw a lady riding a scooter. The phone number was prominently displayed on the basket and was easy enough that I caught it with just one glance. I called and 45 minutes later they delivered the scooter. I used it for 12 days, 9 at the parks, and I never had an issues with power. Every night I charged it and it lasted all day, never even slowed down. I even stopped taking the campground bus because it was quicker to just ride the scooter. The scooter was in good shape and comfortable. I wish I could say the same for the company I used for Universal. read more

I'm looking for a scooter in the Disney area and looked at their website. It is difficult to maneuver and you cannot see the rental prices unless you enter a lot of information. I want to see some prices, like every other scooter rental website provides, before I provide any information. I left their website and went with another company. It's rare to find a company as dedicated to customer service as BP mobility is. Every step of the way, they were so accommodating. I rented a scooter for a week at Disney with a sunshade and rear basket. They helped me pick the right one, patiently answered all of my questions, adjusted drop off date without question, and helped in a pinch during the trip. After the first day, I called to let them know the throttle knob came off the machine and without hating an eye they said they'd have a new machine delivered to our hotel within 45 mins. The price was great too. This is absolutely the company I'll be going back to if I return to Orlando. read more

I rented a scooter from them for a week for my mother to use at Disney World. Excellent service and prices. They man their phones until 10 pm every day in case you have a problem. I called 5 companies to get prices and some did not answer their phones after 6pm. Not only were BP a Mobility the lowest price but they did not nickel and dime for extras like damage waiver fee or daily fee for a second basket on the back. The scooter was delivered to my Disney hotel in advance and left with the hotel staff. The scooter was fully charged and in good condition with a deluxe seat with folding arm rests and a basket on the front. It ran the whole day without recharging and the seat could be taken off and the handle bar lowered so we could place it in our mini van. The scooter they provided was a 3 wheel Victory brand. We will definitely be using them again. read more

I rented a knee scooter for foot surgery that I was going to have. Had the scooter in my home about a week before I even used it as I had to be in bed for about that amount of time with my foot up. I used a walker when I had to get to the bathroom. When I started using a knee scooter, I realized the steering portion was a little bit loose. My husband and I tried to tighten it up but it continued to get looser and looser. When we called customer service, they said they would charge us $50 to bring out a new scooter even though their scooter was defective. Would never rent from them again. read more

We thought our son-in-law would be ok with just renting a scooter at the parks. After the first day, it became apparent he would need one full time. I called BP Mobility late on Sunday night and worked with a wonderful representative. We had one delivered Monday to our Disney Hotel the next day. The scooter (EVC) was in great condition. We had long 12-13 hour days, averaging about 8 miles of walking a day, and it was used in ride lines when allowed. The battery charge never got out of the green area. We were very happy with the rental and it allowed our son-in-law to enjoy the trip. We tied a scarf to it for quick identification when picking it up after a ride or leaving it outside a restaurant. It was a slower week at Disney, so we were lucky we were able to rent; you should probably line up your rental early in your trip planning to be safe. I highly recommend this company. Great customer service! P.S. Don't forget to tip the desk people where you pick up your rental at Disney hotels. I'm sure they appreciate it, and it's nice to know you can just go to the service desk right outside the hotel entrance to pick it up and drop it off at your convenience. read more

I would NEVER recommend this scooter company again. We stayed at a Disney resort last week and this was a recommended vendor. After my experience and what the resort witnessed as well, not sure it will be. My mother in law had ordered a scooter for me as I have significant back/feet issues that warranted a scooter in the parks for me to utilize. Upon receiving the FIRST one, it was pretty dingy and the back rest wouldn't stay firm in place. I called the company first and was told they would bring another one. I asked each time, if they could inform me when there, and I'd be sure to be present so they could show me how to use it and make sure it was a good fit. This NEVER happened. Each time someone quickly dropped off the scooter and ran, never informed me or waited to instruct. The Bell service people at resort were helpful but being an outside vendor, it wasn't their responsibility to assist or fix per say. I called a second time and agent told me they would have someone come again to show me, and WAIT. They quickly came and went knowing that I was not going to be present at the time they came with new scooter(we had reservations). I told them that it would've been helpful if they could arrive at a time that was convenient for me so they could show me how to adjust and make sure it was a good fit. VERY poor communication. The second scooter backing was the same. The third time I called I was told AGAIN that someone would be dropping it off at a certain time that I would wait for to show me and make sure it was a proper fit this last time. WRONG. I showed up at scheduled time and Bell Services told me they did not wait; just dropped it off and ran. I called this service multiple times, was told a Supervisor would call me in 2 days to rectify or possibly provide us with a refund. Never received a call- after I called an additional 2 more times. Today we called after our trip to follow up and was told by a Supervisor that the refund would be denied, that they had contacted me multiple times with no response. Let me be clear here- this did not happen. They provided 2 chairs with bad back support, did not show up to instruct in person how to use as promised multiple times. There are many other scooter companies that I would utilize over this place- like Buena Vista, honestly. For future, we have learned. POOR customer service, miscommunication and support. I highly recommend this company. I checked in to my hotel on a Thursday night and my scooter had already been delivered and was waiting for me. I checked out if my hotel on Saturday morning, used the scooter all day Saturday and then I took it back to the hotel late that night and left it at the front desk. Best Price picked it up Sunday morning. Best Price lives up to the name. Of all the other companies that I checked with they truly did have the best price. I called Best Price Mobility when I realized upon arriving at Walt Disney World that my adult son who has a disability was not going to be able to handle all the walking at both the Disney resort and the parks. They had a wheelchair to the resort by the next morning. When the wheelchair was taken by someone at Magic Kingdom by mistake, we had to get a temporary loan from the park. I contacted BPM and they got a replacement wheelchair to us the next morning and said not to worry about the other - that it would turn up and be returned. Poor customer service!!!! I will be the first to admit that I made an error with the reservation. However I never in a million years thought that I would be penalized and not even offered a return phone call to discuss my error. I called the company as soon as I recognize the error and was promised that the owner would give me a call back to see if there was anything that could be done. After staying for 5 days over 3 weeks ago I have still not received a return phone call from the owner or any other representative of this company. Things happen but as a Disney preferred vendor I expected better consideration as a customer. read more

I made multiple phone calls to work out the details of my reservation and people told me things on the phone and "made notes" that were not honored or communicated any further. Altho I received a workable scooter, there was no "meet and greet" when I called to confirm the 10:30 time. I was told I could drive to their nearby facility to pick it up, but when I ran google maps it was an hour away in traffic. I refused. They did re-route a driver to me at 10 pm at night and we met under a street light and he sort of showed me how it came apart and put it in my trunk. I tipped him $20 because it kind of wrecked his night. But they delivered a giant scooter for a 350 pound person, not the smaller Go Go model I had reserved and been promised and knew I could lift when disassembled.. None of us could manage the heavy weight of this large scooter. We said our prayers and drove to the parks and asked passerbys to help us get it in and out of the trunk - where it fit great but was a monster. Once back at the time share the bellman was called each night to carry the heavy battery in to charge and the reverse the next morning. More tips. Thank God for all those kind people who assisted us but we worried all the time about being stranded in the Disney parking lot. We paid for renting the scooter thru Saturday night when we would be at the park late - too late for them to come pick it up. And we weren't cutting our time at Epcot short to accomodate them. It was twice arranged that early Sunday morning we would take it to the pick up garage at Orange Lake where we were staying. Well, 9 PM Saturday night there were voice mail messages we later retrieved asking where were we as the pickup guy was there. The noise of hte fireworks we never heard the cell phone. But we returned it Sunday morning and heard nothing further. The scooter stayed charged each day in each park and was comfortable to use. It was in good condition, not beat up. They just seem to have a lot of trouble with internal communications. read more

We had just arrived at our on-property resort at Disney World, the Animal Kingdom Lodge. Always in the past, we have been able to use one of the hotel's manual wheelchairs for the duration of our stay - always! So when we went to the bell desk to do so for this visit, we were shocked to find out that this policy has changed - no longer at any of the Disney hotel resorts can you use one of the wheelchairs! For us, this meant that our vacation was in jeopardy as my daughter uses a walker, but for long distances (like the Disney parks) a manual wheelchair is a necessity. The bell desk staff was apologetic about the change in policy and gave us a list of Disney preferred mobility providers. Stricken with panic, as the plan had been to check our luggage at the bell desk and head out to the Magic Kingdom immediately, I started calling the providers on the list. I worked my way down the list to no avail until I called Best Price - Connie was so very helpful! She said she could get us a manual chair to Animal Kingdom Lodge within the hour, as she had a van already on the road making deliveries. She was wonderful! Next time we are at Disney, we will reserve ahead through Best Price so that the wheelchair is waiting for us in the hotel, now that we know the Disney policy has changed.
