The best breakfast burritos around and the price can't be beat! Chiles roasted right there.

Right when we arrived we were greeted by 2 lovely ladies who asked us if we wanted to sit indoors or out in the patio. Since it was relatively hot that day we opted to sit inside. My sister ordered the Posole that day but was told later that they were out so she ended up only having a coffee and some Biscochitos which she said were good. For me the choice was a little tougher since I'm way more picky with my food. The menu didn't have too much that was appealing to me so I went with the Chicken Enchilada Casserole. While we waited they brought out some chips with a mild tomato based salsa that was OK but the real winner was another salsa that one of the gals brought me on the side. That green salsa was hot and delicious just needed a tad more salt. I finally got my entree. The plate was super small - smaller than any plate I have ever gotten at any restaurant ever. Probably a little bigger than the plate you get your toast on at a breakfast restaurant but I digress. The Enchiladas were OK but what was really delicious were the calabacitas with corn and the side of beans. So much good flavor. The sopaipillas were OK too. Not the best I've had but definitely not the worse. Overall it was an interesting lunch spot and the staff was super friendly

Our drinks came out almost immediately. I ordered the Moscow Mule, which was perfectly refreshing, while my husband enjoyed a cold Coors Light. We started with the chips and guacamole, and it was the perfect appetizer. The guacamole tasted incredibly fresh--you could definitely tell they use quality ingredients. The chips were warm, crisp, and paired perfectly with it. For dinner, I had the green chile chicken enchiladas with potatoes. The enchiladas were delicious, but the potatoes really stole the show! They were seasoned so well that I couldn't stop eating them. My husband ordered the burger with fries, and it was cooked perfectly. The burger was juicy, flavorful, and the fries were hot and crispy. Between the excellent food, fast service, refreshing drinks, and welcoming atmosphere, Mulas made for a wonderful date night. We'll definitely be back to try more of the menu. Highly recommend if you're looking for a great meal in Corrales!

The tacos and overall atmosphere definitely deserve 5 stars. That said, I do miss the old salsa bar setup where you could enjoy as many salsas as you wanted for free. It's a little disappointing that the salsas are now an extra charge, especially since prices overall have gone up. Even with that change, the quality of the food and the experience keep me coming back.

I know of Mole Dulce but ive never had it on enchiladas before. It was wildly sweet. Imagine a chicken sandwich with slices of coffee cake for a bun. I felt like everything down to the beans and rice was overspiced and oversalted. Call me petty but i have to point out another issue which were AI images of various menu items which were posted all around. Every dish was glazed in a burnt cheddar hue, depicted with a rash of grille marks and blasted with massive flecks of pepper. "Twisted, BOLD, Addictive!" I dont know how anyone in management could look at these disturbing, unnaturally textured, fever dreams of meal and think it was appealing. On a positive note the ambience was good.
