Pulled up to a dirt parking lot, parked and read the menu as best we could from the car. The nice clerk who waited on me said it would take about 10 minutes and she would let me know, I pointed to my car and she said OK. She motioned that it was ready, I picked it up and asked for all the salsas available, since it was my first time and wanted to know what to order the next time. We ordered: Gorditas de maiz, frijole con quezo (Corn gorditas with beans and cheese) Tacos de Pollo (chicken tacos cooked in a sour cream sauce) unique! These are the bombest gorditas I've ever had! I ordered the flour (didn't even know this was a thing) carne asada. I bought the pollo (chicken) con crema for my husband and he said the same. Their location is a ways out from where I live and the reason I hadn't been here sooner. I was nearby today and thank goodness I went. I got my order to go and it only took about 10 minutes. The restaurant isn't very big and it was packed, but the customer service was excellent and very quick. I highly recommend this place to anyone, I promise you won't be disappointed and if you are, something's wrong with your tastebuds Unfortunately, I ate mine too fast and didn't get a pic. read more

Great place for some Gorditas!! Since it was during lunch we called it in and by the time we arrived our order was piping hot and you could smell and taste the chile in the gorditas! At $2.50 a gordita you very well expect them to be delicous and packed with filling.. Lucky for us they were! You can choose between a flour or corn gorditas. I ordered the flour and it tasted like that of a grandma-made puffed up flour tortilla (granted this means they are very thin). One of mine was filled with the CARNE CON PAPAS Y CHILE ROJO (beef, potato, and red chile) it was hot and filling. The meat was thinly sliced mixed with small diced broiled potatoes all combined with some chile rojo that was perfectly seasoned. The heat on these was about a medium so if you want something spicy but not to bad your ears burn this is the way to go. The second was a RAJAS CON QUESO (slices of chile and cheese) not sure if it was a mixture of jalapenos and chopped green chile but i can tell you that while this one was amazing it was so spicy i was only able to eat about half. The amount of filling was decent and I was more than full with two gorditas. This is a great place to come eat or pick up food if your craving that authentic Mexico taste. It's fast, affordable, and the flavors are on point! read more

The food was disgusting!! Who is tater tot's for breakfast? I understand that y'all are trying to make life easier but cooking hash browns...really? Blake's does it and it is fast food! How can a sit down restaurant not cook hash browns? The sausage patties were frozen and over heated where they were shriveled around the edges. The red chili was obviously powdered chile. I love the gorditas here. I usually get either the papas, carne y Chile or the asada without cheese with corn rather than wheat. So delicious and satisfying at a very affordable price. They also usually have biscochitos or empañaditas with apple or pumpkin as a nice dessert. The service is friendly and fast. Also I believe they have a food truck in the lot next to the Central and Unser library during the day. I'll have to try that and will report back. Also they have a great kids meal selection, my favorite is the ham and cheese sandwich with crinkle French fries. read more

This is a great place to eat! You seat yourself and they bring chips and salsa which is delicious and spicy! The Gorditas are amazing, the asada, carnitas and pollo. The tortas are my favorite! The bread is so good, recommend the carnitas, and asada. All with a added side of French fries makes it better! Everything is hot when it comes to our table and super good aqua frescas. read more

Holy Tortas Batman! This place is legit! The service is excellent and the food is Bomb! This place is a joke! The gorditas whether flour or corn taste the same and they are super thin. Mole is disgusting and who charges two bucks for a side of beans and two more for a side of half decent rice. How is a basic Gordita $2.50 and a side of beans $2.00? Oh and to make things worst they decided to add $10.00 gratuity because my bill was over $40.00. So $71.00 bucks for 15 gorditas with most of them being beans and cheese. Good food but we went to eat and were supposed to get billed around 35 and got billed 45 and didnt even get a receipt and the girl couldnt even explain why the 10 dollar difference all she said was that it was all taxes and said that was the only thing taken out .. that there was no tip included in the bill which is ridiculous! Delicious! We live close by and have never tried it until a friend recommended it to us. I tried Carne asada gordita and one with green chile cream and cheese and they were amazing!!! The chips and queso are also very yummy! So glad we tried this place, it's amazing and the staff is super nice!
