Despite this Applebees being very close to where I live, I had never tried it out, or any Applebees actually. I went with my gf for their endless wings and fries promotion. Our server was Marcus and he was the absolute best, super attentive and very friendly. Wings and fries weren't anything to die for but being endless and for only 12.99 it was such a great deal. Would definitely go back for them, the classic margarita during happy hour was delicious as well, and a huge portion! The restaurant was also very nice and spacious, the bar looked great! It seems to be going downhill. Our appetizer came with our dinner. I ordered a drink that so far half way through my meal has not yet come. It is quite disconcerting to see a person who does not work here reach over the counter at in the bar area and help himself to things. I have no idea the last time he might have washed his hands. We eat here a lot so I know this guy is a regular. He likes to come in and take control of the TVs. Perhaps he has an interest in this restaurant, but this is not good for business. All drinks come from the bar and I don't even want to have water now. As it stands now we are finished with our meal. My drink never came (guess it is just as well) and our waitress has not stopped by at all to ask about our meal no refill on my tea or my sons drink. would have liked extra BBQ sauce with my wings. My grand daughters max and cheese was so over cooked it should have just been called mushy noodles substance with cold fries! The time you wait for your food at this location is outrageous! The waiter kept making stupid jokes and we weren't amused! He forgot to put in our appetizer order and people seated near us got there later and received their food first. The waiter kept disappearing to the back and never refilled out drinks. When we finally got our food (after asking him to check on our order) the entrees were lukewarm but the Alfredo sauce for the breadsticks was pipping hot that I burned my tongue. It's like they over heated it in the microwave at the last minute! Imagine if my 7 yr old had the first bite! So we ate and asked for the check and when we paid the waiter came back stating that our card was declined and if we had another card. I said that's impossible, it can't be declined and he said he was just kidding! The couple that was sitting next to us kept on staring and it was so humiliating! I ordered the Baby Back Ribs with a baked potato and fries... and my brother.. he got the Bourbon Street Chicken and Shrimp. The baby back ribs were good. I enjoyed the baked potato and cream/bacon toppings the most. The fries were okay. My brother said his bourbon street chicken was okay. It was a bit salty for his taste. The 2 for $25 deal also came with an appetizer (or 2 salads) and we chose the artichoke dip with chips. I enjoyed the chips. My wife ordered the appetizer/soup deal. One of the appetizers that she ordered were the Grilled Chicken Wonton Tacos. We all had one taco.. and they were a bit too sweet for my taste. The wonton part was nice and crispy. The server we had today named Johnathan was so awesome!! He's very polite and had a lot of tables for it only being his 2nd day here, and he was juggling all of them very well. The management on the other hand... is terrible. The restaurant is understaffed and they are giving a brand new server 50% of the tables in the place. They are being very hard on Johnathan and it's not his fault that the restaurant is not fully staffed and it's only his 2nd day here. The management needs better training and to ease in their new employees WITHOUT being very hard on them for making the smallest mistakes that were quickly fixed. read more

I came here with my grandkids and husband for a lunch after a day at Discovery Cube. The service was fantastic!! The servers and bartender were very attentive. The food was amazing!! We had fish and chips, Thai Shrimp Salad and the grands has the mini cheeseburger meal. Everything was delicious!!! I love this place! This has turned into my go-to restaurant whenever I feel like dining out. It's close to my house, and most of their meals are on the healthier side. It's also never busy there. I've never had to wait for a table to be ready. You can also easily order online for quick carside pick up. Their deals are hard to beat. During football season they have happy hour every day from 3pm-6pm with half off appetizers. Their 2 for $20 is an awesome deal as well. It's perfect for me and my girlfriend because we each get an entree and either an app or 2 salads. It's just a great overall experience because the staff is incredible. Had some slow service issues in the past when dining in and carrying out. Decent prices for the quality of food. I would put them above fast food but below chilis or fridays. Food can be on and off. Had some shrimp under cooked once, 8oz steak with 3 oz of uneatable fat, over salted food, and share of browning and or uneatable core parts of the lettuce in my salad but the positive experiences outnumbered the negative.
