The food is amazing. The inside is disgusting and the bathroom is even worse. It looks like it's never been cleaned since 1922. Be prepared to fan flies and eat if you sit inside. The service is a decent speed but the people are so rude. It's hard to tell if they're just rude, racist, or both. They didn't want us to sit inside at all and you could feel it. I'd recommend taking the food to-go if you want to deal with the rude staff or ordering online to avoid them all together. The woman who takes your order is the rudest by huffing and puffing while taking your order, rolling her eyes, and not explaining the menu when asked. Idk what people are talking about in reviews about the employees being rude, the guy who was working the register was extremely kind! Very patient and customer service oriented. Idk if the other employees are the issue but the employee was SO NICE! The cook must be in a good mood too bc the food was BOMB! Fresh and hot and crispy! $17.99 for the plate with three bbq types of protein and two scoops of rice and Mac. They have the sauces next to the register area so you can grab your teriyaki and spicy sauces n such. I will definitely be coming back! The place looked clean to me. This is our go to spot for plate lunch. The place with initials is over rated. Aloha hits every time. My favorite is the teriyaki chicken with its dark meat that isn't overly sauced. We like to order a couple different plates for a bigger variety when we have friends over. The meals are huge and easily feed at least 2 people so we set it up buffet style so everyone can try everything. We've had the musubi, shrimp, katsu, teriyaki, and the mixed beef plate. All yummy! I've never actually eaten there because I call ahead and pick it up to take home. It's always ready when they say it will be. And the condiments are help yourself so you can have exactly how much katsu or teriyaki sauce as you need. Just don't forget to grab it before you leave with your to go order. Ordered a Loco Moco on Uber Eats and it was just bad. The patties were thin, old, dried out and tough. The eggs were overcooked with hard yolk and unseasoned. The gravy was light colored, watery and tasted weird. Instant maybe? Not enough rice. The Mac salad was ok. I've had better Loco Mocos from L&L and that place is borderline fast food. Very very very disappointed on the customer service and overall experience in the restaurant. First when I walk in they say it's gonna be 20 minutes until chicken will be ready. That became 40 mins. Then when I ordered my spam masubi I asked if it was extra cooked like I asked. He stated yes without even checking. When I went to see for myself. It was cold barely even warm. He said would you like a new one and still had to wait another 10-15 minutes. No apologies for the inconvenience and no stress on his end as if he didn't care. Unbelievable human being as he was extremely rude and careless. FYI he bites his nails behind the counter while nippling on food never once would he wash his hand during taking or giving orders. I hate leaving negative reviews, but I was really disappointed with this place and won't be back. Here's why: - I ordered 2 meals and a side at 6:40p. With 2 orders (4 people total) ahead of my order, my order didn't come out until 7:15p (35min). That's when I found out they were missing one of the meals. The lady told me that it would be another 5 mins but 15mins (7:30p) later it still wasn't ready. After I got home, I found out my order was still wrong. - During this time, the cashier was just eating a dessert in front of everyone. She got it from a coworker and they were just chatting away. Other customers were pointing out to her that orders were ready while she was unaware. This was my first time visiting an Aloha Hawaiian BBQ and wow do you get a lot of food for a great price! I ordered the Hawaiian bbq mix combo platter with bbq chicken, bbq beef, and short ribs, rice, and macaroni salad. Service was good as the order came out fast, I only had to wait about 5 minutes for my number to be called. There is indoor seating - not a lot but definitely enough. Right near the register the are plastic utensils as well as sauces for you to self serve. The food came in a styrofoam to-go box that was stuffed to the brim. Everything tasted great! For just $17 there was enough food that I shared it with my mom and we still had at least half the box leftover. The food was flavorful and delicious. I don't usually like macaroni salad but the macaroni salad here was not super heavy on the mayo which is usually my issue. The beef is NOT edible. It was so incredibly tough and chewy. The spam musubi was average. Rice and macaroni were decent.

They greeted me kindly and the service was pretty quick! I got the chicken katsu and bbq mix (included short rib, beef, and chicken) and they were both so delicious! Where can you get massive plates of delicious Hawaiian plate lunch food that will easily last you for three days? The barbecue mix plate as well as the chicken Katsu plate are definitely stand out. There is a ton of meat and they don't overload you with the rice like many places do you so it makes it especially good value. The service here is fast and the people here are very friendly. Their curry is a bit spicy for my taste, but if you like spicy curry, then you will definitely enjoy this one. They have plenty of free Katsu teriyaki and show you to load up on and there's plenty of space to eat there, but I don't think it's very likely that most people could actually Finish one of their generous plates in one sitting in fact they have to put a rubber band around it to make sure it doesn't pop up and because they give you so much it's always served hot and fresh.
