It has been many many years since I had stopped for breakfast at an IHOP. Let me explain why I gave this location three stars, and it has nothing to do with the quality of food nor the service nor the upkeep of the interior of the building it has to do with the pricing. Let me start off by saying I was cheerfully greeted and seated immediately and provided a menu and she did take my drink order, which was a large orange juice and I decided to order the ham and cheese omelette with hashbrowns and toast and this is probably my fault for not really looking at the pricing but when I got the final bill, it was a little over $30, which is insane in my opinion and you can see that from my receipt that I posted. $4.99 for two slices of toast, which is totally unacceptable pricing in my opinion and the toast was not even hot and they failed to bring me butter until I asked again. The omelette was a little bit overpriced in the same for the orange juice. But the inside of the building was very clean and well presented. The seating areas were clean. The table tops were wiped down in the staff was extremely friendly and courteous. That's the shining star here at this location.

Selection of syrup. Been several years since I visited an IHOP. Looking forward to some pancakes!!!

Been a while since I ate at IHOP. This one is near DisneyLand so I am not sure if that is why prices are higher than I remember. Service was great. Greeted when I wslked in and sat quickly, waitress came by several times to check on me. Food was served quickly. Had pancakes as my side with a BLT. Pancakes and their syrups were good. I had a little of all of them. One at a time. Blt was a little dry, not much mayo on it. Not much bacon either. One or two more slices of bacon would of made it much better. Lettuce was fresh, tomato was fresh would of been nice to have a little more tomato too. But all in all, good sandwich.

Well. Well. 5-stars of an ihop? Yep. They did it right. Food was good. Server was fantastic and when there was a small issue with our order the server took care of it and really mad us feel welcomed. It was a good breakfast.

After the Disney race I need pancakes

Was in town for the Disney race and purposely chose hotel lulu because it was close to the start line AND close to ihop because I knew I'd be starving after the race. Place is clean, staff is friendly and I got my to go order quick and it was solid. Got one of the breakfast samplers and it was $20.46. Worth it given the amount of food you get. Pancakes. French toast. Bacon. Eggs.

Ordered online on a Saturday night around 6:30 pm. Be careful online - there's Harbor Blvd locations and even though I could see this one from my hotel, iHop wanted me to order from the other. This location was more expensive to order online than the other (no $6 meals). I placed my order and walked over a few minutes early. They had it ready at the quoted time. Bacon and sausage were cooked the way I liked. Scrambled eggs and hashbrowns were typical (I selected crispy hashbrowns). Pancakes were good. I did appreciate the pancakes were packed in their own layer.

Pro Tip: Kids Eat For Free After 4 PM with One Paying Adult What We Ordered: -Breakfast Sampler $19.99 -Country Fried Steak & Eggs $19.99 -JR. Cheeseburger $13.59 We were all tired of the park food and decided to have an early dinner at IHOP. My wife loves hash browns and scrambled eggs, so she ordered the Breakfast Sampler, which included a variety of meats like ham, sausage, and bacon, along with two fluffy pancakes. It's a great deal! For me, Country Fried Steak is a classic diner dish, and IHOP does it well. I had it with two over easy eggs and pancakes. I was very happy with my meal. Our son ordered a Jr. Cheeseburger with fries, and as usual, he mostly ate the fries. I highly recommend coming here early for a big breakfast before heading to the park. The value is really good, especially since it's right across from Disney. Overall, I was very satisfied with our meal, especially when you consider how much more you pay for less inside the park. The service was attentive, and our waiter checked on us several times. It was a great way to end a memorable day at California Adventure with the family.

    Ants on our table

$100 for a family of 4 including 2 small children, for pancakes and coffee. Really?? $13 for a single kids pancake and a motts applesauce? $6 for a single hot chocolate. We spent $25 on 4 drinks, none of which were specialty. I'd rather just eat in the parks for less money, better atmosphere, and less bugs. There were ants on our table. While ants are pretty benign in terms of bugs, I never expect to see them on a dining table in a clean restaurant. Our server was nice enough, though we didn't get silverware until we asked for it. Our food came out surprisingly quickly though my pancakes (3 stack) were lukewarm like they had been premade and sitting for awhile. Nothing about our food tasted fresh made. The prices here are disturbing for the quality of the food and having to share a table with ants circling our syrup caddy.

This ihop is outstanding they have tea good pancakes and chocolate milk if you do not want to eat in Disneyland, I highly recommend going here if you're going to Disneyland that day, they also have amazing balloon animals that they can make Disney and illumination characters

Attending NAMM and got breakfast before the show. Fast seating. Pretty busy but it can't be because of the food. Ordered the steak and eggs. Menu said steak. 3 eggs and 3 pancakes. Almost passed on it because it didn't come with potatoes. Steak arrives with hash browns. Had I known it came with potatoes I would have asked for fries instead. I do not like hash browns. Steak was ringed in fat. Tough and hard to cut. I would not recommend this. Scrambled eggs were overcooked and basically crumbly. Coffee was awful. Had a coupon but forced to order $10 in drinks to use it so I ended up actually not saving anything with the coupon except it maybe working out to $5. Without drinks and coupon it would have basically been the same price I paid. Guess you could say with the bogo I had it worked out to $5 off off. Waitstaff excessively clears the table giving a hurry up feeling. Another petson interrupts to take photos for a fee and has you get up to pose. This should be optional instead of just start doing it. Or skip the posing part. I didn't want to get up and move around and move my stuff to take photos at 8 am at ihop. The pancakes were good and my friend said their breakfast was basic but nothing special. Upon attempting to visit the restroom, the sewer smell was overwhelming and I couldn't go in there. Also saw waitstaff balancing plates to serve with one plate literally sitting on top of the plate of food below it ready to serve. I wouldn't want my food touching the bottom of a plate. I'm sure this review won't matter much as this is near Disneyland with a price point of around $20 snd free kids meals. But all of these areas could be improved on. Just to be safe, stick with the pancakes.

Colorado omelette and Country Fried Steak
    Amy T.

Food (3.5/5) Country Fried Steak was big and great today. Pancakes were not fluffy and splits in the middle. Colorado omelette was decent. Pricing (3/5) ~$2 upcharge from other locations as expected from being right across Disneyland parks. Service (3.5/5) Waiter defaulted the tip to 22% then 18% when I asked to change the amount. In the end, I still felt rushed to enter a custom amount and paid more tips than what I had pre-calculated. He was nice and checked in on us but never checked on my coffee carafe to see if I needed more coffee. Store (4/5) Decently maintained and looked okay. My bench had oily spots from previous customer. Bathroom cleanliness (0/5) Disgusting, no clean spot to stand on in the stalls. Note: there are non-IHOP employees selling services table to table. One man approached us asking to help us take a complementary photo which we turned down. Another man was selling balloon animals. I saw him make a "Yoshi" and an Elsa.

    Hope M.

Convenient that this ihop is 24/7 and located near Disney but oh my gosh if you're wanting a cheap meal do not come here. Go to Disney the food there was honestly cheaper! I paid $30 for my plate and a coffee. Servers were nice though and refilled our coffees constantly!

    Chad C.

Great spot for breakfast before starting your vacation if visiting Disney. Staff and service was spot on. Have been to several IHOP's and this spot was amazing. Clean, updated, felt like an upscale restaurant. Staff are amazing and helpful with making and ordering. Large portions and food was good. Prices are fair for the location.

IHOP charges $4.29 for a cup of coffee!!! That's crazy!!!

I think this is on everyone's speakeasy list!…read more Make sure you make a reservation It is very packed. They offer bar seating and booth / table Follow the wall from Randy's donuts and Look for a wall of Japanese sake/beer barrels and head towards the restaurant - the rolling boil. There will be a check in host and stand there and wait (it will be located up against the wall with a big secret door right next to the hostess station) It's very New York inside. When I first came in Spring with the amazing, Karen, the menu and everything was great Now, I took my friend who was in town from Nashville and it was a brand new theme. It's the great Gatsby. Even our waitress, Jasmine was dressed for the occasion. I would say this place is known for Absinthe. They have cocktails featuring it or you can get one of the huge apparatus (huge and glowing green) which, if you are into it? I highly recommend. Just one of the huge apparatus makes one regular drink. Or, what Karen and I did, was split it and make it into a shot for the both of us. The waitress comes out and shows you how it works and goes over everything. Karen, who I came with, was a pro and knew her way around it. She showed me the ropes lol. Honestly, if you are here? When in Rome. Go all out and try it, since it's where they shine here. They took off a few menu items and added some themed drinks. ( a couple new champagne themed drinks) They have big entree items but I suggest small bites and sharing and mostly coming for the drinks. There's no bathroom inside, so you do have to leave the bar and go to the closest one (over behind Randy's donuts) and then enter the speakeasy again Both times coming here I've never had an issue. It's a small, packed place. And yet they still have the cocktails flowing and the food coming out in a good time. So the food and drinks are good Atmosphere is lovely. Service is good. Especially for it usually being very busy in here This place is located inside the Anaheim packing district. So I suggest hitting up a couple other spots before or afterwards for some more food or drinks P.S. it is very dark In here. They never cared if we used our light to look at the menu. However, they do not want flash photography They also do not strictly enforce a dress code (my friend from Nashville asked) however, they suggest dressing business casual and not too underdressed

I really liked the clarified strawberry drink, similar to strawberry and cream. I ordered a drink after that unfortunately forgot the name (photo attached with a tall glass) but there was no special cocktail craft taste to it. Just hard liquor taste and undrinkable :( the bartender kindly offered another drink. Unfortunately none of the food was the least bit good. Steak and fries was ordered medium rare and cooked to medium well with what seemed like no seasoning was on there at all. Crab cake was just ok and the slaw beneath it was drenched in a vinaigrette that was just sour and unpleasant. And the Mac and cheese, as we were very hopeful and looking forward to, was probably the blandest Mac and cheese we ever had. We asked the lady bartender for salt and she handed us, no exaggeration (and you guys will probably think I am) a salt shaker with 10 grains of salt in it and said "looks like there's a lil something you could still get out of there" My jaw dropped. But yeah. The shredded meat on top of the Mac and cheese was cooked beyond the point of edible. That one was unfortunately sent back bc we just couldn't eat it. We were bummed over all mostly about the food.

The cowboy ribeye was excellent -- flavorful, well cooked, and absolutely the star of the table. Honestly, almost everything we ordered was great. The portions are also pretty generous, so I'd say this is definitely more of a "bring the family and order half the menu" type of place rather than a quiet little dinner for two. Our server was fantastic: friendly, attentive, and just really pleasant throughout the whole meal. They also gave us a complimentary dessert for my sister's birthday, which was a really nice touch and made the night feel even more special. The ambiance is probably one of the coolest parts. It genuinely feels like you walked into another era -- warm, old-school, dramatic, and a little bit like you accidentally got invited to a very wealthy ranch owner's dinner party in 1927. My only small hiccup was the whole "farm to kitchen" concept. I loved the idea, but since some of the meats are sourced from elsewhere, I think it would be helpful if they were a little clearer about which items are actually from the farm and which are outsourced. Not a huge deal, but I did have a brief "wait... whose farm are we talking about?" moment. Overall though, the food was excellent, the service was excellent, and the whole experience was memorable. I'd absolutely come back, especially for a family celebration or special occasion.

We end up having to wait 20 min to get seated. Crazy when it was just a reservation for 2. They didn't offer anything like a complimentary drink to make it better. Next, to the meal. We ordered the 58oz Cowboy Ribeye. I honestly think I could have made a better steak at home. Absolutely no crust in the outside. Not that well seasoned. The meat was good quality but they butchered the execution. Insane a steakhouse could make such a bad steak honestly. Not worth the price. Okay and then there were the sides. The lobster Mac n Cheese was the only reason this wasn't a 1 star meal. That was honestly fantastic. I am a fair critic. Credit where credit is due. If I ever returned, it would be for the lobster mac. But I wouldn't order anything else. The potatoes were pretty good too but nothing crazy. All in all, I will be spending my money at Brea Chop House instead. Way better steak

We…read morefirst returned in early June since they introduced some new cocktails and food to the menu. The other visits were just because this is by far our number one place. Recently added cocktails: Buzzin' Jungle Bird (Jamaican gold rum, coffee infused campari, dark rum, pineapple, lime, hemp orgeat, cane, Angostura bitters). This is a great spin on a jungle bird, with some complexity and coffee flavor. I'm usually not a big fan of coffee, but it is at a good level. Chi Chi (Whey vodka, pineapple, lime, date, honey, coconut, salt). This has a great creamy texture which I believe comes from the dairy component of the whey vodka. It is well balanced with some sweetness, and I could taste the coconut and date flavors. Lapu Lapu (Asian rum, Jamaican rum, dry curacao, lime, orgeat, demerara). It is juicy, well balanced, and served with a flaming sugar cube on top. This is the cocktail they chose to serve at their booth at Tiki Oasis recently which says a lot, try it! Thai Me Down (Barbados rum, coconut liqueur, papaya, lemon, demerara, Thai basil). It is served old-fashioned style, and was light and perfectly balanced. Those Thai inspired flavors were all noticeable. Demerara Dry Float. They added and took this one off the menu as of now. It was a balanced light citrusy drink which was served with a delicious sidecar of Hamilton 151 rum infused with banana chips. I sipped half of that and mixed the rest into the cocktail. It was served with a beautiful ice shell. I'm guessing it was too labor intensive, and took up a lot of space in their freezers. Recently added food: Ahi Poke Nachos (marinated ahi tuna, masago, avocado, cucumber, spicy mayo, furikake, green onion). This is such a tasty starter with so many textures and flavors. I love that the nachos are wontons too, and not just chips. Crab & Cream cheese wontons. Nice crisp wontons with a good amount of crab and cream cheese inside. The chili sauce and spicy mayo adds another layer of flavor, and there is a slice of jalapeno on top for a little heat. Pan-Seared Scallops. This was an excellent lighter entrée. The four scallops are cooked perfectly, and even have a little dollop of caviar on top. I liked the mix of veggies and really liked the bed of potato puree underneath. Steak & Eggs (8oz hanger steak, crying tiger glaze, Nam Jim Jaew sauce, sunny eggs, rice). I normally wouldn't try steak & eggs for dinner, but I can't resist a good hanger steak. It was cooked a perfect medium rare and I appreciate that it was pre-sliced. The crying tiger glaze and sauce were so flavorful. There's plenty of rice to soak up any left egg yolk or sauce. Recently added desserts: Dubai Chocolate Lava Cake. This was excellent, but it's definitely sweet and rich. Save some room if you plan on ordering this. Ube Flan Cake. I'm usually not a fan of flan, but I have to try anything with ube and this was good. The cake had nice ube flavor, and I liked that the flan was a little firm since the looser custardy/gelatinous texture is not for me. This is definitely a lighter dessert than the lava cake. It's not a new drink, but I also had the Naval Grog for the first time. (Lost Voyage rum, overproof white rum, allspice dram, lime, grapefruit, demerara, honey). It is boozy with nice spice notes. Other repeat cocktails enjoyed were Tales from the Black Lagoon (my favorite), Missionary's Downfall, Agave Parrot, Singapore Sling, and Serpents Grasp all of which are excellent. Their cocktails, food, ambiance, and service are always top notch. Thank you Ying, Erica, Greg, Jordan, Joey, Iris, Karen, Kyle, Joy, and John for your wonderful hospitality during our visits. We will return again soon!
