I've eaten here multiple times when with my wife and three kids when we're in town for Disneyland visits. The most recent time was in April 2026. We came on a Sunday around 5:30. It was busy, but we were seated really quickly. We usually get the same things with my wife sometimes mixing it up. Appetizers: Wings: Hot and Delicious. Their wings are unique and don't taste like the typical Buffalo Wings. I ordered them hot with blue cheese. Excellent starter. Grilled Shrimp on the Barbie: My kids love shrimp. This comes with 2 skewers of grilled shrimp with a dipping sauce. Entrées: Prime Rib: I always get the Prime Rib. On this day I got loaded mashed potatoes and mac n cheese. My Prime Rib came medium rare as requested. It had great flavor. Sides were good as well. I got both creamy and fresh horseradish with my Prime Rib. Kids Food: Two of my kids ordered the kids steak and one got the grilled chicken with fries. They enjoyed their food. My wife got a salad and added salmon to it. No complaints from her. Dessert: We ordered the Chocolate Thunder From Down Under. My kids loved it. It's basically a brownie with ice cream. Now the main reason they liked it even more was that this dessert is gluten free. Two of my kids have celiac disease so they were so excited to be able to get something besides ice cream. Drinks: I had a few ipas. Beer selection isn't the greatest. These chain restaurants need to get more local craft beers on tap. Service: We had great service. Everything came out in a timely fashion. Anything we needed was brought to us quickly. Final Thoughts: Outback is popular with our family as everyone can find something they like. We've always had a good experience at this specific location. We were in the area for a concert at House of Blues and needed take-out late to take back to the hotel. We figured Outback would be better than any fast food. It was a bit of a letdown and I'll tell you why. Parked out back, they share a parking lot with Red Robin, a pizza joint and a closed-down Joe's Crab Shack. Walked in the front only to be told that to-go orders are taken at a counter out back. Literally. Waited a while as there is only one cashier at the lone register and when it was finally our turn, we were helped by a young man. I went with a Outbacker Burger ($15.99) It's a half pound burger that comes with LTO. I opted for no pickles and asked for well-done fries for my side. The burger was just ok, the patty was big but it had no seasoning. On top of that, I asked for mayo on the side and ketchup for my fries and got neither. When I was handed my take-out, I asked if everything I asked was already there and he said it was. It was not. That was a bummer. It was in their last hour of service, we were hungry and we just wanted to get back to the hotel room to eat after our concert. The lady got the Hooley Dooley Coconut Shrimp ($29.49) with steamed broccoli & a baked potato as sides. She liked her order fine but for me the batter was too strong in the shredded coconut department. We ordered their fried shrimp and blooming onion to share. The blooming onion will always be a hit. For lunch, I snagged their Cobb salad with fried chicken strips. My grandma had recommended this dish and she has great taste. The salad was yummy, with chunks of blue cheese, bacon, and topped with several sauces. We also ordered a few desserts to celebrate the extra special birthday girl. Personally I felt their cookie topped with vanilla ice cream was their best sweet treat. Updating my experience with Outback Steakhouse after this most recent order. We typically enjoy ordering from here, especially the ribs but this time the experience was a bit inconsistent compared to usual. The ribs still had good flavor but they were noticeably drier than previous orders & not as tender or saucy as we're used to. The mac & cheese also seemed a bit lighter on cheese & sauce this time & the mashed potatoes had a slight powdery taste. One ongoing issue we've had is that utensils & napkins are often missing from our orders. This has happened multiple times & it's especially frustrating when ordering meals like ribs & sides that clearly require them. It really affects the convenience of a delivery meal when those basics aren't included. On a positive note the kids grilled cheese was good & our toddler enjoyed it. We do usually like ordering from here so we're hoping this was just an off day but consistency & attention to packaging details would really improve the overall experience. read more

My steak was cooked perfectly, lobster was a bit underdone, but I didn't mind. I loved how soft the broccoli were. It was actually pretty good over blanched like that. I got my baked potato with everything in it so it had cheese, sour cream, green onion, and bacon. I'd prefer my potato more baked, but everything I ate was still good. Coming to Outback Steakhouse is never a miss for us. We came for dinner and had an amazing time dining here. We got seated quick and was put near the bar. Our waitress started with giving us some bread to eat while we look at the menu. My partner got the ribeye steak and I got the grilled salmon. Our food came out at a decent time and it was delicious. I finish my salmon first but my partner too his time on the steak but he loved it. He let me try some and I thought it was delicious. We had a great time dining here and our experience was great. I was so excited to go for lunch with my office..but ended up being disappointed. We came in around 11:15 and there was only one other party(4 people) in the restaurant. My group was a table of 9 so I knew we would be waiting a while so I tried to be understanding to the wait times and staff. Our server was never around and we were constantly looking for her. My sister and I decided to have Outback Steakhouse on a Tuesday evening. It was the best decision ever! I had not been to an Outback for years and forgot how many amazing options they had. I started with a Strawberry lemonade and a cup of potato soup. The table came with this AMAZING bread and butter. That alone was a 10/10. Then I ordered the crispy chicken sandwich which came with fries. My sister got a wedge salad and the coconut shrimp appetizer. It was an incredible meal, everything was so great and to top it off, we had the most incredible service. This Outback has changed. My Rib Eye steak was not good, Sizzler has better steak now. They used to offer Prime Rib everyday any time, now just on weekends after 4:00pm. That's the kind of thing that I avoid at BJ's. The Cook also got our order wrong. The one thing that is still great our the Servers! Our waiter and support crew are still outstanding. For my entrée I got the coconut shrimp and 5 oz sirloin. It also came with 2 sides. I got the loaded potato soup and a house salad with ranch. I was stuffed by the end of it! My husband got the grilled shrimp, and an 8 oz sirloin, with a baked sweet potato, which came with butter and cinnamon and a Caesar salad. Food: I really wanted their prime rib, but our server mentioned that they ran out of rare, medium rare, and medium prime ribs. Not sure how a supply chain restaurant can "run out" of rare cooked steaks .. I guess they don't cook them fresh? 1) New York Steak, med rare - I ordered this with the steakhouse mac & cheese and baked potato soup. The steak was seasoned well and perfectly cooked medium rare. The Mac & cheese and soup were sooo delicious. 2) Bloomin' Chicken Sandwich - My bf ordered this with 4x patties total. As you can tell, this man eats too much lol. As I walked in I was greeted nicely and gave me a choice of where to sit. The restaurant wasn't too full being later in the evening. The atmosphere was nice and dinning room was very clean. TV's were on everywhere. My server was (not sure on her spelling) was Kayla sporting her team for the world cup. She was very polite, nice and professional. Asked me what would like to drink as she placed some bread and butter on the table and took care of that. The booth I was in was nice and comfortable. When she came back , she took my order. I kind of knew what I wanted but I asked if they had any specials. She showed me what it was and it sounded good, and good amount for the price. However I had my eye on the shrimp with the steak. So I stuck with my original thought. I ordered the Steak and shrimp and pasta plate. She asked me how I wanted my steak and I said well please. She went and placed my order and took care of other tables. I didn't wait long at all and surprisingly I didn't get full with bread. My dish was brought out and set in front of me and it looked good. I said grace and tasted the pasta first. It was good. Very good. Then I tried one of the steak bites and it was juicy and tasty. And last but not least, I took one of the shrimps and ate that. Now that was good. So I continued with forkfulls of each item and of course I washed it down with my Dr Pepper. As I got halfway, I took a bite of a steak bite and it was chewy, pinkish to redish in the middle. As I moved on to the others, they were even more red. What started out as a very nice meal, turned into a disappointing one. Because half of the bites were this way it took away from enjoying the rest. I'm not one to complain, but this is a review. Plus, the overall visit was good and satisfactory. I finished my shrimp and pasta and unfortunately left a few pieces of meat. Finished my Dr Pepper and payed my check at the convenient machine at the table. I took care of the tip with cash so she would get all of it. Would I go back? I wish Yelp would give the option for half stars. Always 4 star service and above for us- we like how attentive the servers have always been, and we are locals who have been coming here for years. The food is good - at least a 3-4 star for that as well. I'm a fan of the chimichurri filet- the sauce is delicious. The salad with balsamic is some of the best. I don't know what that recipe for the dressing is, but I hope they never change it. Minus one star because I was sad to see that they only offer prime rib on weekends now, which is disappointing. I don't know of any other restaurant that bills itself as a steakhouse (at least that I've been to) that doesn't have it as a regular offering. I've seen it at other non-steak related restaurants (think BJ's, etc) that have it only on weekends as you'd probably expect. I'll be going elsewhere for my prime rib dinner fix. read more

The Bloomin Onion ($12) tastes like a salt bomb because they season the fried onions way too much. Even when I dip into the sauce, it's still salty. Had to chug a lot of water to counterbalance the salt action. The Filet Mignon & Lobster Combo ($42) was pretty good. The filet mignon was cooked medium rare and was tender. The lobster was over cooked and had a chew to it. I liked the Aussie Fries that came as a side because they were fluffy with a slight crisp. The mashed potatoes were bland and would've benefited from more seasoning. I don't know why they opted for this, but the inside is so dark and dingy, it reminds me of a pub rather than a family restaurant. They dim most of the lights so your main source of light is the one above your table. My table's floor was sticky so when I dropped a napkin, I dared not to reuse it.They do offer outside seating if you're not into the darkness. read more

I think we stopped by around 1:30 on a Thursday and there were a few people waiting but the place was empty. The host said it would be 15 mins for 2 people but we were luckily able to sit at the bar which was empty. I was in town for the Disneyland Half Marathon. I came here for dinner on a Friday evening at about 6 pm. The parking lot was shared with other restaurants and it was pretty full. After finding a parking spot, I went inside and got a seat at the bar. The place wasn't too busy. I ordered coffee while I looked over their menu. The bartender didn't have any coffee ready on hand, so she had to brew a whole new pot just for me. I ended up ordering the sirloin steak and grilled shrimp. I got a house salad and a loaded baked potato as my 2 sides. Everything tasted okay, but the steak was a bit tough having been cooked to medium rare.
