6-25-24: I enjoyed a spinach artichoke dip with some chips. I needed more chips. The Blue Moon was tasty as well. It was super annoying that they turn the lights on and turned off the music 45 minutes before closing. So then I was stuck listening to all the nonsensical conversations. Came late last night for bite to eat , around 1030pm, sat at the bar top w a friend . We were quickly attended to, we ordered quesadilla chicken salad , it was really good , and my friend ordered, bourbon chicken / shrimp w mash potatoes . I was going to give a 3 star, however, the server was amazing and he saved it. It took sometime to be approached but this guy (server) who was doing the best he could, being he had the whole section to himself with no assistance from anyone. Staff was talking in a corner and the manager was nowhere to be found. Not once did the manager come up to us and ask if we needed anything, but was more concerned that everyone did there checkout and cleaned so they can leave. Now I'm all about leaving, but at least multitask and if you see a server is overwhelmed, help. The food was good and our server was good. read more

We went to Applebee's on Monday 06/10/24, for a very special reason; my wife and I met the parents of our son's fiance for the 1st time. The Azusa Applebee's was conveniently located for everyone and we found it very clean and adequately staffed. We were greeted by the manager, Noelle. She was so pleasant and even excited for us when we told her about meeting the other parents. Noelle and her staff helped make our time at the restaurant enjoyable. The food was great! I had the Bourbon Chicken and shrimp. It tasted great, and all I needed was a fork because the chicken was so tender. Thanks again for you hospitality. We will definitely be back! read more

Visited on December 30, 2019. It wasn't a packed night and yet it took a while for someone to get our order. Jojo the bartender actually came over to our table to get us started. And even though we weren't offered to try the holiday margaritas or to purchase gift cards, we just let it slide. We would've gotten a free app as per the ads on the table. I will be definitely on the lookout for their new skillet offerings. The sizzlin' cheddar bacon chicken was really good. Mashed potatoes were creamy and cheesy and the upgraded roasted vegetables were worth it. Always leave room for dessert- sizzlin' caramel apple blondie hit so may spots it was foodgasmic. We saw our server twice only: when he came by to ask what our order was, after Jojo already took care of it and when we were closing out our check and trying to decide how much tip to leave. OK, So I have been going there since the day they opened in early 80's.. The place is convenience and OK atmosphere, OK food and OK value.. We stopped by for a quick bite Sunday night.. By wife was not in the most cheerful mood so while ordering food, I asked for margarita for her and an 805 for myself. The waiter said that he needs to see IDs before he takes the order, I told him that my wallet is in the car, but he insisted .. He said that these are the rules ,..... REALLY I said... He told me that these are the new rules of the company... Last time someone asked me for ID was more than 40 years ago,,,, So, the one star is not for the waiter, not for the manager who came and explained or the food that was really OK.... It is for the Company to acknowledged that this is a joke, If you want to follow the rules and go by the standards...Then come and check the place and walk into the bathroom. When we first got there, I noticed the crumbs and grease spots on booth bench. . .yuck. We waited for a while for our server to take our order. I asked for extra dressing and had to wait a long time for it, even with a reminder. Our server didn't really check on us even though he walked past our booth many times. The service is really bad. Service was good but slow but that's ok because it was busy on a Thursday which I'm sure was unexpected. The food was 3/5. The pretzels were good but the beer cheese could be better. The burger was lacking flavor but the fries were perfect. My friends tore up the wings but the buffalo wingers were dry so she had to ask for extra sauce to like them. read more

Excellent job. Tony did a wonderful job and his service was great. Recently started coming back to Applebee's and this was my first visit at this location. This location was a bit on the smaller size but was clean and we were seated right away. I started off with the Dracula Juice which was a rum beverage topped off with two brain Gummi candies. Good themed drink that fit the time of year. Had the broccoli chicken fettuccine with a good sized bread stick. Good flavor, broccoli was cooked just right and the sauce was tasty. Would recommend but ya better hurry if you wanna try the Dracula Juice. read more

My husband & I used to go to the location in Monrovia but ever since it closed down we had to find a new Applebees to drop by every now & then. This one is it! We love this location. Excellent food, exceptional customer service from a few of the servers who attended to us, Samantha, bartenders, Megan, Miguel, Des, they have all been awesome to us. They never let us down on our service. They always make sure to take care of us, even if were regulars. They are very attentive, & always make sure if were doing okay. CUSTOMER SERVICE COULD BE BETTER.....especially if customers are loitering around waiting. Why not verbally notify everyone, why make it a point to be wrong and not own up to the fact that your text notifications do not always work, or why not give an incentive for customers to come back? We are frequent customers. We checked in with the host around the evening time on a Friday. We received the text notification that we were next in line for a table. Great! It was drizzling rain but nothing too concerning. We waited and waited but never got called. Went up to the host to check & turns out they cancelled our reservation to be seated next. We never received notification that our reservation was cancelled, despite the male host at the front insisting it was sent. I checked my phone and I am confirming and showing it to the host that I did not receive a cancelation text! I saw that the people before us were seated and the people that came after us were told that reservations were cancelled. The host could have easily made the situation better but sadly did not, he made things worse. We saw the host go "Yes!" when the manager told him to stop taking anymore reservations and cancel the current. This is not the first time this has happened, this is the second. We ended up going to Max's in Azusa. It started raining harder and Max's were still open because the tents could withhold the rain. I just have to say that you guys are making it really easy to loose frequent customers. read more

Amazing prices. Happy hours M-F from 3-6 or after 9pm Super duper cheap too! Like a Tito's cape cod is $4 Margaritas $7 and all appetizer if 50% off What a great deal. Service is amazing at the bar. But if you have kids etc. most of the time the servers are great. It's really dark and not crazy at this location. I kinda like it. O and if your a 90's baby they always play our era music. Amazing appies. Good Frank's and amazing music for like so little money. How about their 2 for $25 omg amazing! You cannot beat their prices. Foods not the best but it's good. I would return here 100x and more. We always had the best service. Food and drinks. - the last time I was here. It was freezing cold. It was like 46 degrees outside. A homeless person came in and just sat at the table. She stayed for a bit. Then I seen the Manger guy went to have some food done for her. We came by to have some dinner and celebrate a friends birthday. We had a large party of 11 so it took a little while for us to get seated but eventually we were able to get tables and serve right away. Our server was super kind and always addressed us, which is really nice. We ordered a bunch of appetizers, dishes and drinks as well and our server was able to do it all. Also came on a Sunday, so the appetizers were half off, and we did get a lot, which were all pretty tasty. Overall experience is great. And food was tastier than expected so we were very happy. We visited this location to try the unlimited wing deal! The place was busy but we were seated within two minutes and although we waited some time for a server the manager Noelle came and apologized for the delay. Noelle personally took our order to ensure things kept moving. The service we got was outstanding as they were a lot of customers and limited servers. So I just left apple bees haven't been here for years due to the service and the food.. well I order chicken Alfredo to go and chicken strawberry salad with the chicken on the side so I can warm it. First of all the guy charged me for extra chicken on the side when I just wanted the chicken that came with it on the side. That wasn't such a big deal people make mistakes but the problem was after he brought my food to the car with no utensils when I went back inside he seen me turned around and went back in the back then he came back out and was on his phone... ignoring me.
