It had been awhile since I've been to Applebee's and had to stop in after seeing ads for the OM-Cheesburger. The restaurant was clean and looked I remembered from years past. Our server was extremely friendly and attentive. After placing our order she was sure to check on us to refill our drinks. When it comes to the food it was DELICIOUS. The burger was juicy, had a little kick with the spicy honey mustard on it and the cheese YUM. It came out of a sizzling plate with a mix of white queso and shredded cheddar cheese, it had a great cheese pull and added a lot to the flavor of the burger. Get it in the 2 for $25 deal, you basically get an appetizer for free. read more

I've had takeout here a few times through DoorDash and it's always been good. Today we decided to eat in and it was pretty empty so we got our food very quick! Service was great from waitress Casandra who recommended some tasty things to try. The wonton tacos are always perfect and crunchy. I could eat 10 of them and nothing else! Some nice wall decor and definitely one of the nicer Applebees I've been in. The prices are reasonable, so I'll be back to dine-in more often! read more

Ambiance Located just off the freeway, this place is easy to exit to and has lots of parking. For dinner time on a Tuesday it was not busy at all. We were seated immediately but it took a long time for a waiter to come to the table. Food & service The food was ok. I would not go out of my way to eat here again. We ordered a chips and queso appetizer that came out cold. We were able to finally find our waiter to tell him the cheese was cold but by the time a replacement came, our food was already out so it didn't get eaten at all. I felt the steak was a bit undercooked (med rare ordered). We ordered the chicken fettuccine that was so bland and dry we kept having to ask for extra sauce on the side. We had a 5-10 minute wait ...must be short servers ....pretty busy ...TV's on... music playing..we were sat in a nice cozy booth...we came in for "late night" appetizers ..1/2 off....we order the wonton tacos... (amazingly good) with chicken and slaw great Asian flavors .....mozzarella sticks served with marinara sauce.....boneless chicken wings ..(honey pepper) crunchy with plenty of sauce served with ranch...so gooooood ...chicken quesadilla..served with salsa and sour cream ...Dean's favorite three...and spinach dip served with chips and salsa as well ... (I do remember the spinach dip having more flavor this time it was kind of bland) but I do want to add that the server was excellent she had a table of 10 and yet she did give us excellent service. Pretty reasonable for 5 different appetizers and 2 boxes "to go" I think we were more tired than hungry! read more

Applebees is a great place to sit and chat with friends and eat appitizers. Fun as a group. I dont recommend ordering to go food as you can essentially get the same quality from the frozen food section if any grocery store. The food is good, they consistently cook it well. But the best part is their friendly staff and ambience where you get waited on and have fun with a group. We think location has particularly friendly and accomodating staff. read more

Hadn't been here in a while and we had a little longer than usual for lunch. The restaurant only had two other tables seated at noon on a Wednesday. The server had three more tables that sat after we did and she did a great job. We chose from the 2/$25 menu. The spinach dip was a smaller size but just right for two of us. Hubby chose chicken tenders and fries. The chicken strips lacked flavor and the fries were too salty. I had the oriental chicken salad. It was the highlight of the lunch. Fresh ingredients, very large portion, well dressed. Next time I'll have to remember to ask for the dressing on the side so my leftover doesn't have dressing to sit in until later. read more

There was other people that ended up leaving to for the same reason. They weren't that busy. If the word 'meh' was a restaurant, this would be it. The food isn't bad, but service is very hit or miss. You'll either get someone that knows what they're doing or you'll die of thirst before you walk out. And if you happen to get the guy who seems to be the manager at night, if he counts more than 2 people in your party and you show up ~60 minutes before they close, he'll tell you to go elsewhere and that they're "too busy" even though there are only 4 tables occupied. The best way I could put it is: this is the type of place you bring the ex that you just broke up with two weeks ago and are in talks of giving each other a second (or twentieth) chance with. You just got back together, but you're not wanting to commit all the way and deep inside you know it's probably not going to work out. So you bring that person to Applebee's in Bellevue...why? Because just like in the relationship, you choose to stay knowing very well there's better out there. Ambiance is good, never loud unless there's a good game on the TV's. Food and customer service is awesome and you do not have to wait too long in line to get a seat. The waitresses are excellent. They're kind and considerate. The prices are worth the food that you get. I love going there as much as I can. I recommend Applebee's anyone that wants to have a good time at the bar that they have available and the apical seating. read more

We come here fairly regularly because my kids love the 4 Cheese Mac and Cheese with Honey Pepper Chicken Tenders. I can tell you, this location consistently earns its 2-Star rating. Odds are fairly high that you are going to wait 20 minutes for a drink from the bar and an hour for your food - which will be served to you barely warm. However, on the off chance that you receive quick service and fresh food (which does happen from time to time) you will be pleasantly surprised. I will say that the wait staff is consistently attentive and pleasant. read more

The restaurant is generally kept very clean, staff is friendly, service is fairly quick, and food is up to quality standards. We have had a few minor issues with food made incorrectly in the past. Been coming here for 3 years and for the past year I feel like it's gone down in customer service and in good quality. The server wasn't that bad but he did forgot to bring our drinks, he noticed that we have got them. "Oh yeah I'll bring you drinks" Then took forever to get out appetizers. And they came cold. Then exactly 2 mins later we got our entrees which were cold too. And got even colder because we were still working on our appetizers. Our appetizers were cold, the wings were okay but the mozzarella sticks aren't good cold. The entree was a 4 cheese Mac and cheese, and it was cold and looked like it was chicken on top pasta on top of the "cheese" I had to mix in myself. Maybe because the cheese is watery and sank to the bottom. Was not appetizing at all. The sad part is that a manager brought it out and thought it was okay to bring this out. When we talked to him he was combatant about it and said that's how it's made for years. He said he'll take of it but didn't offer to remake it or offer anything else. We were still hungry. But back to the entree, I've gotten this many times and I come here for that entree and it never looked or tasted like this. It said 4 cheese but I see just a sauce, Mac and cheese is cheesy right? I'm giving it two stars because the actual food isn't dreadful, but what is dreadful is the service. Save your time and go across Cornhusker Rd to Taco Bell because you'll get way better service there. Our server: - wasn't friendly or personable - didn't have a neat/clean appearance - got one of our party's meal order wrong (after repeating her order back to us while writing it down) - took 30 minutes to get out the correct order to us, after everyone else was pretty much done with their food - would ask the table a question and then walk away before anyone could get an answer out - didn't apologize for anything Terrible. Eight of us went to visit Applebees for lunch on Thursday. Four adults and four children. Thought the bill was going to be huge; however, a HUGE bonus on Tuesday and Thursday is that kid's meals are priced between 99 cents and a $1.99. Daughter got a small steak and fries for $1.99. Can't beat that with a stick. Place was busy and server was running all over, but she took pretty good care of us. Food was acceptable. Only problem we had was the hair in the salad. Not very appetizing. Menu has a good variety and if you have kids, you will find it hard to beat the prices on their meals, but make sure you go on Tuesday or Thursday.. read more

(You can read my other review) i literally only got about 75% of the chips that I get on a regular basis from the BWW's on 73rd. This location DEFINITELY has an issue. Just tried to go to this location at 9:30 on a Friday night. We called ahead of time to see if we could get in and if they were doing the 1/2 price apps and got a yes answer to both. We walked in and no one was waiting and there was 9 tables seated in the entire place. All other tables were clean and ready for service. The hostess/manager told us it would be a 15-20 minute wait because "I am giving my wait staff a chance to catch up" Catch up with what? No before you start the "Be Nice, the world is short staffed!" I have worked every position that you can in a restaurant for years and that was decades ago. Guess what, We were always short staffed. Someone quit, someone no-showed, someone was sick. Always will be short staffed in those places. I turned around and left and went home to eat. If I was wait staff I would be upset that I am not getting tables sat to me and able to turn those tables in a timely manner so that I could make more money, not getting caught up. read more

Wanted to give our local Applebee's another chance and this visit was the worst so far. Not only were they short staffed (one of the cook's was stuck bussing tables and delivering food) but when we finally got a server she was there to get our food order and 1 drink refill. The host/runner spilled dressing on our guest and tried to wipe it off, but the experience was less than ideal. If there was a manager on duty they were non existent and to pay we had to see the bartender. If you want to maybe get service and roll the dice on food quality this is the place for you. read more

Thought we'd give this place another try. What a mistake! We ordered the French Onion Soup Again, it was stone cold Again. We complained, and the manager came out and "explained" hown they do it in the kitchen..... We finally got our "soup" after the entree had arrived. They had crammed more bread in the bowl to make it appear hotter. I tried to order the rib eye, and was told they no longer serve it, yet it's on the menu. This place just sux! Had to go in to get my order and the manager said that they no longer do curbside pickup... What happens, do I get credit of $37.74 to my debit... Having dinner with my family and my girlfriend orders a steak cooked medium. The steak came out so rare it might as well have been still blinking. To make matters worse our waitress spoke to her manager and instead of throwing a new one on the grill took the old one off our table to cook it further. To say that is unprofessional is an understatement. Taking a steak off a grill and it cooling then throwing it back on toughens up the meat. When they brought the steak back out (less than 2 minutes later) it was marginally better but still pretty raw. It was at that time we where given the option of a new steak. To say I'm disappointed is an understatement. I am an Assistant GM for a Bar and Grill in Omaha and I would be ashamed of my staff if we did that to one of my customers ... it is no way to represent your restaurant and food. Stopped off at the Applebees due to the location near the 75 off ramp. We were quickly greeted and seated at a booth. The server came by and took drink orders and returned to take our lunch order within minutes. Food was prepared well and fresh. The server came by several times to check up on us and refilled drinks without us asking. The only issue was they forgot to bring the breadstick that was included with a chicken salad dish. This wasn't the server's fault since she wasn't informed about this and it really wasn't a major deal. Overall, service and food was very good and I would return back, if available. read more

Applebee's is definitely not what it once was. The vibe is extremely depressing and the staff doesn't look like they even enjoy being there. Stopped in for an appetizer and some drinks. Our mozzarella sticks came out lukewarm for as slow as it was in there I figured any food we'd order would be super fresh and hot. Jackie was the bartender working, she was super friendly and made my favorite Applebee's drink the Perfect Margarita to perfection. The only downside with everything going on with COVID when we asked for a second round she used the same dirty glasses in the bowl of salt. Applebee's a place that I love so I have never eaten at this location before but I must say it was a delightful experience. The staff was so helpful and nice the restaurant was nice and clean and spacious. I ordered the Bourbon Street chicken and shrimp which was great. Also my Cesar salad was great as well. Of course the TVs was on with games playing so I was able to watch a basketball game. Also of course they have a good selection of liquor at the bar. But if you are in the cornhusker exit area check this location out. read more

If you want to eat in a night club atmosphere this is the place for you! Music so annoyingly loud ( during early lunch mind you) that we could not enjoy our meal. We Asked management if it could be corrected and she said no. It's as low as it goes. Really? Are we dumb? So loud I could not hear my husband directly across the table from me. Not only was the food bad, but the service was awful. We ordered hot apple pie for dessert and waited 15+ minutes to get a piece that was frozen in the center. I can't even attribute this experience to them being busy, as it was about 4:00 with hardly any guests. I was already on the fence about Applebee's, but now I outright hate this place. read more
