Good enough for a pit stop, and a nice laid back alternative to Birch Run's chain restaurant offerings over toward the outlet mall.

However the food was just lacking it looked quite appetizing but just lacked any flavor. The olive burger was very bland and my burger was dry and charred, my sister had a Reuben and although I do consider her a Reuben snob, she is picky, but I agreed with her the meat was very dry. My husband had the Rodeo burger which he enjoyed but said it wasn't worth the price. We visit this area all the time since I have family there, but I'm not sure I would give this place another shot if given the chance.

By the time our food came, our drinks were empty, and Kelly didn't return until we got the bill, so we couldn't even ask for more drinks. Overall, I don't think the drink problem is Kelly's fault; I just think this establishment needs better training for its employees. A lot of that has to do because it says so on the sign. But even if that wasn't there, you would guess it's genre of restaurant. The inner part of the building, where the cooking and eating take place, also speaks loudly of this restaurants affiliation with sports. One thing that was nice with this place was that the seating is spread out enough to where you don't feel packed in. There's plenty of room for movement without having to stand on a table to let people walk by. As is the custom, I ordered boneless wings as an app. Buffalo flavor. The sauce. not the animal. Came with complimentary ranch I will use and complementary celery I will ignore. The wings were good. Had great flavor and the breading wasn't too thick. I like the taste of chicken in my boneless chicken pieces. Also, as is the custom, I ordered a second app. The pizza puffs. Now, from where I come from, we have several sports bar restaurants that specialize in Pizza Puff Apps™. Therefore, those restaurants are the bar to which these will be measured. The barmaid was telling us a story about a customer missing her phone and her boyfriend had it. The man said "it was a black man." The barmaid told him that was irrelevant. He said it was. She finished her story. A few minutes after the man says randomly. "It's like white ice and black ice. Slip on black ice and your wallet is going to get stolen." Both the barmaid and female patron told him to stop multiple times. Rather then entertain bigotry, my friend and I started a side conversation not speaking to him. You can't fix stupid. After further research I learned he was the owner Michael Schultz! I understand why he wasn't asked to leave, because it was his bar. With that being said, I will never do business there.
