So I decided to take my mom out for lunch today and she ordered the grilled chicken alfredo and asked for extra sauce because it usually is a little dry. Well it came out my mom didn't eat much so I just asked for a to go container and asked if I could please get a little more sauce. I was told that it had extra sauce on it aleardy and I would have to pay more for sauce. Absolutely disgusting!! The hubs and I have not ate at an Applebee's in close to 11 years!!! Tried it for the first time no more than 5 min ago and just HAD to write a review on how crappy it was! My husband had the Thai shrimp salad...it was pathetic lettuce with previously frozen shrimp on top...my father had the shrimp pasta (Alfredo style, obviously I can't remember what it was called, but it sucked...zero flavor); I had the NEW peppercorn on whole grains thing, supposed to be medium...not so much, more like well done. The only real flavor was garlic, I tasted zero pepper!!! Kudos to the bartender who offered a few times to replace my meal, but I honestly had no time as I am traveling with family...all in all. So there are 14 empty tables and a 30 minute wait. I've literally watched 20 people leave without being seated. Ridiculous.

I had many problems with this Applebee's. First of all, my table was the first in the room to order our food, and yet we were the last in the room to receive our food. When my chicken tenders arrived, they were far too dry. The coleslaw tasted like sour milk. One of the only positive aspects of my dining experience was the French fries. The were very well seasoned, and they tasted good with or without dipping sauce. Furthermore, the color scheme of the bathroom was drab and there were creepy men with mustaches staring at me. The music in the bathroom was far too loud. After I finished my meal, I went back to my hotel room and quickly discovered that eating at this restaurant had resulted in me and two friends getting food poisoning. In conclusion, this restaurant is perfect for you if you like diarrhea. 2/10 would not dine again. read more

I use to love the Mac and cheese with chicken dish. It was rich and creamy and the chicken had a sweet glaze that was delicious! Not so anymore! Barely any cheese says over over cooked noodles and not much sauce on the chicken. Why do restaurants make a good dish and then go cheap and substandard?!? What a difference time makes! Wanted to give them another shot to improve service. Oh boy did they ever was very pleased with all of the staff and service with this visit. We ordered our food and it seemed that we just started to talk and it was hot and fresh and ready to be devoured. I had the chicken fajita rollup one of my favs at Applebees. So flavorful and put together so well it did fall apert after the first bite. It came with bottomless fries best fries ive had here hot fresh crispy. I love Applebee's but not this particular location. They have poor quality control and frequently leave out part of my orders. I have ordered online 10+ times in Cheyenne and they always forget the honey mustard that goes with the pretzel appetizer. My husband ordered the southwest chicken bowl. The chicken was ice cold, the pico that was served with it was frozen and had ice flakes all over it, AND the lime slices that were served on the side were brown and absolutely disgusting. I ordered the Mac and cheese with chicken tenders, my Mac and cheese had absolutely zero cheese sauce, and the sauce on the tenders tasted like straight maple syrup. When I asked for more cheese sauce our server interrupted me before I could ask for the cheese sauce and said "yeah baby I'll bring you the sauce" and ended up bringing me the sauce for the chicken tenders. When we brought up the issues regarding the bowl my husband ordered she took it back, and made a new one but at this point our appetites were ruined. I asked about the cheese sauce again and she said "the meal was 86'd" and she wouldn't be able to help me. As someone such as myself with customer relation skills and experience working in the food industry I can understand food shortages, and staff shortages as well, however, I would be more than willing to offer another alternative for a cheese sauce, such as alfredo sauce, since my son literally was eating chicken Alfredo next to me. The waitress took off my husbands meal, and then told us she couldn't add military discount because she already had one discount on the ticket. Last time I checked, when you comp someone's meal because it can give someone food poisoning that isn't a "discount" that is actually removing it completely. She also said "you being in the military should be able to understand why I can't apply the discount" What? Needless to say we won't be back, but after all, what can you expect when you sit down in an Applebee's for lunch before Black Friday shopping. Very slow service. The waitress left for long periods of time without checking on us. The food was gross; wilted lettuce, greasy bread, etc.

Went there last night for my friends birthday and our server was just terrible. Was really rude and just over all didn't care. The food was sub par. And she Never came back to ask if I wanted another drink and just dropped off the check. Then we sat there waiting for her to come collect for over 20 minutes before we said screw it, left her money on the table, and walked out. Mind you this happened on a Monday and it was fairly dead. This place is the worst. Figured I'd give applebees a try after many years...big mistake. Food was disgusting and over priced. The onion rings were a $2 up-charge and you only get three and they are all breading. I also do not recommend the brew house Philly or whatever it's called. Was home visiting and decided to go to Applebee's since I was craving an "All In" burger. 6 of us ordered our food which took a very long time to get our orders to the table. The waitress was nice and told me they were waiting on fresh fries. My burger finally came to the table after everyone finished their dishes and that was when the major dissapointment came as my burger hit the table with the wrong order of fries (See photo of all in burger with smashed bun fit for a happy meal burger). I could not beleive they would even bring the plate to the table. Then I finally received my sweet potato fries burnt. The manager apologize and I asked for a credit which was received. It's an Applebee's. It's basically the same as all the other Applebee's in existence. If you don't like the food at the Applebee's near wherever you live, you probably won't like the food at this Applebee's. The service here was good. The steak and fried shrimp were good. Came out to eat for an appetizer and booze happy-hour meal to celebrate my 5 year anniversary. The waitress Heather was on it! Fairly inexpensive for the food you get. It's pretty much the same as any other Applebee's restaurant.

I visited this restaurant with a school group of 22. They sat us all in the same area, which was nice, but the visit went downhill. About 25 minutes after ordering, the waitress informed us they were out of a couple things so a couple people had to reorder. We waited for close to an hour for our food and had to pack it up in to-go boxes so we could make it to our school event. One of the employees (not our waitress) was kind of rude to our students and simply set their food on an empty table, telling them they had to pick it up themselves. Additionally, several people from our group became sick shortly after eating. Lastly, when our adviser went to pay for the meal, she had to wait and wait for someone to help her. The service was absolutely horrible. Waiter was rude and impatient. We waited forever for our appetizer. After waiting another hour for our food they brought us out someone else's order. Another 15 minutes later they brought us out a burger that was well done without the proper condiments, and we ordered it medium rare. Ordered a medium well sirloin dish that was cooked medium well. We ordered online without any problem. Went to pick our appetizers up without any problem. Good service; in fact, several servers asked us if we had been waited on. No problem, short wait...however, when we opened our appetizers, we were very disappointed. The chicken quesadillas were thin and pathetic excuses for quesadillas. Chicken wonton tacos, well they had chicken but nothing else. We think if we had ordered these same appetizers in the restaurant and they had actually put them together for us...they would have been better. Right??! One can only hope. read more

I've been twice. The first time, I experienced the same problem that most places that serve alcohol are known for: service reduces if you order non-alcoholic beverages. Other than that, the first visit was uneventful. The second visit, however, is what will keep me from going there ever again: They brought me the wrong food, prompting me to have to force my companions to begin eating anyway; the glasses were FILTHY; the server made a snide comment when we ordered a dessert; and, oh, the best is last, I paid in cash and never received my change. I assume the server believed she'd received her tip. I will never return. read more
