As always the food at Applebee's is extremely fairly priced, great cocktails, great specials, great service. The ambiance is like most all sports bar/restaurants but comfortable booths! My wife and I choose Applebee's all the time and hope that their comeback will be a great one. We heard on the news they were remodeling all of them, changing the menus and going to fight to keep things going! This was a good night for us -- out celebrating our anniversary, but without letting the staff know! We have grown particularly fond of the chicken wonton appetizers, and the ordered our favorite meals -- fish for my hubby, and a juicy sirloin for me. Both were prepared to our exact liking. His coffee cup never got empty and I never ran out of soda! T was an excellent server who treated us extremely well. They do tend to be really busy during sporting events so plan your visit accordingly. read more

We both had the 2 for $30 6oz sirloin steak, mashed potatoes, broccoli and side salads and everything was great. Both our steaks were done correctly and nice and tender. B & MP's we're fabulous. Salads were big and fresh just the way we like it. Would recommend this for a late lunch or dinner!! No drinks. Service was outstanding. We were there around 1:30 so it was steady but not full. My son and I went to lunch to enjoy a day out to get wings. We sat down and ordered a 30 piece wing meal and fries, and our waiter was kind and friendly. Our wings came out in less then 10 minutes they were lukewarm at best and the smallest bone in wings i've ever seen. i would not recommend if your looking for good wings! read more

It seems like all casual dining has taken a nose dive in the last 2 years. Applebees is not an exception. Slow, unenthusiastic service, and mediocre food for what they're charging. Turned away my business!! Nearly empty restaurant at 4:30 with a party of 6. Asked to seated so we could order drinks and appetizers, followed by dinner and was told at least half the party had to be here in order to be served. We were generally pleased with the both the service and the food. We shared an order of the boneless wings that were on special and feel they have greatly improved since the last time we had them. I left the restaurant in a hurry not realizing I didn't put a ZERO on the receipt just got an email that I tipped an EXTRA 35%. Absolutely horrible service. It all started when we got the wrong appetizer. We asked for the Spinach and Artichoke dip. She rang it in correctly, but brought us Chips and Salsa. When we asked for our Spinach and Artichoke Dip, and huffed and rolled her eyes, and blamed it on the kitchen. Next, we ordered Wings appetizer, and they didn't come out until after we got our entrees, and they were the wrong flavor! Next, my Husband ordered a meal with fries, and when they came out, they were FREEZING cold. We asked for warm ones, and the portion she brought out was half the size of the cold ones on his plate. The only good thing was the 35% we got off from the manager for the horrible service we got. And the waitress did not even apologize. Needless to say, NO TIP, and we will NOT be going there again! read more

I have been going to Applebee's for many many years (not this one, just in general) and have always had relatively good experiences. Over the last couple years I haven't been going to chain restaurants very much but figured Applebee's sounded good for lunch and decided to go. My wife and I got a table and our server, Mackenzie, came over right away and took our drink orders. She was super nice. While she was getting her drinks I decided to check in on Yelp and ended up getting a coupon for a free appetizer; thanks Applebee's! We placed our orders. While we were waiting, I finished my drink and without even having to ask, Mackenzie was over with a refill. She was very attentive and pleasant and not at all annoying. I wish all servers could be more like her. My wife got the pick-2 with the wings and wantons and I got a burger and the food was really good! I ordered my burger cooked medium and it was done perfectly. In all seriousness I ate more than I should have but the food was too good. Thanks to this experience I will likely go to Applebee's more often. read more

I asked my husband to order me a large soithwest bowl but make it a salad instead of rice with grilled chicken. My husband got a Caesar salad with shrimp. the salads were both over 13 dollars each. my salad was the size of a side salad and the chicken was dry. neither is us got dressing with our salads. why would I be charged for a large salad and not get a full sized salad . the quality was not up to par as well. read more

Decided to order through the website and pickup from car side to go. Food was ready just minutes after I arrived. Drove home and discovered that the two chocolate milks I asked for were white milk, upset kids. They also didn't include the two orders of French fry's that were sides for one of my kids meals and the other was my wife's entree side. Called the store, but the time it would take to drive there and back would render all food cold by the time we could eat it. Last time I ordered from them they omitted my garlic mashed potatoes. I guess the best thing to do is unpack the whole order and make sure it is right before I leave the restaurant. read more

We usually choose Applebees for price, convenience and because they don't mind loud toddlers. Todays visit was absolutely awful! Our food came out cold. Imagine straight from fridge to table, cold. I came here with a big group. Ericka was our server. she was giving us problems and it seemed to be only us at the table. My boyfriend ordered shrimp and it originally comes with Fries and coleslaw. Ericka asks my boyfriend "Are you good with coleslaw and fries as your side?" My boyfriend asks, "Can I trade out the coleslaw?" and she then proceeds to tell him, "No, you can't change your sides." Why would she ask him if he was okay with them and then tell him he can't change them? that's kind of rude! my friend got to change her sides, how is that fair? Anyways, no biggie. my boyfriend gets Caesar salad with Ranch because he doesnt like cesar dressing. I know TONS of people who order salads this way. Then Ericka feels the need to add in the comment, "Ooooh, I hope the kitchen will do it that way because their super busy and it takes too long to make it this way for them." How does it take longer to put a cup of ranch on the side instead of a cup of ceasar dressing ? We come to Applebee's frequently and NEVER had any issues with anyone! My table seemed to love her and our friends who over heard her talking to us told us she was not treating them that way. I'm not sure why she chose to treat us that way. Applebee's is my favorite restaurant and Ericka did her best to ruin our experience! Definitely changed our weekend spot!! 1 star for her. read more

One of our favorite Applebee's locations! We had an issue once and contacted the general manager and she more than made up for the trouble we had. The service is great and the food is excellent. There are plenty of different options and you can get two meals and an appetizer for a decent price. Highly recommend this location! I also recommend the clubhouse Grill and the chicken fajita rollup! read more

Terrible experience but I have to say our waitress was amazing. The lady told us we only had a 30 minute wait. Half of the restaurant was empty, mind you. Apparently the kitchen was low staff and really behind so they were waiting to seat people despite the 20 available tables. Waited over 40 minutes and when we finally ate, the fries were frozen. Won't be coming back here again. read more

Worst service ever, and food was Meh. After work on Monday night, my girlfriend and I decided to have a date night... Get some dinner, go to the movies and spend some time catching up with each other.... When we arrived at the Applebee's in Comstock Park, we were promptly greeted and seated (so far, so good). After 5-10 minutes without a server stopping by our table, the host sent over a server from another section to take our drink orders. That server (redhead whom was very polite and on the ball with ALL of her tables), explained that our server was taking an order and would be with us shortly. After waiting several more minutes, our server (Mike) came over and took our food orders and we did not see him again until he brought out our food. During this period of time, we felt as if he completely ignored us. At first, we thought it was due to Mike having 3-5 tables in his section and being busy (both my girlfriend and I had previously worked in the restaurant industry and are very understanding), but when we noticed that the other tables had gotten refills 2-3 times and our glasses had sat empty at the end of the table for 25 minutes we started asking what was going on. During our conversations, the only thing different that we could tell between our visits last time and this time was that I was wearing a Police Department fleece jacket. I hope this is not the type of service that one can expect out of this establishment, or possibly discrimination due to the clothing once chooses to wear, but it was a VERY disappointing experience to say the least. So much so, that we will take the extra time to drive to the East Beltline store which is out of our way. read more

We ordered take out, we got the steaks, not only was the steaks not setup with their toppers, but instead of well done, it was pinker than ever. Very hard to eat, ended up not eating it . This is not the only time we hard errors in the food. The time before this, we ordered out again and they missed half our order. First of all, Tori our server was amazing. She was coming by our table every five to ten minutes keeping drinks filled and making sure things were fine. Went out to lunch with a friend who wanted to treat and was on a budget. Tori made a great suggestion that allowed us to get some great choices with a drink for not a lot of money. It was a meal for 7.99 and a drink for $1.00. So my friend got the chicken wrap with a Texas ranch dipping sauce and a side of broccoli. I went for chicken tenders with fries on the side with a BBQ dipping sauce. My friend raved about how his broccoli was prepared and I went to town on the chicken tenders. Both meals were prepared perfectly. Overall, a great experience. Seem to always get great service at Applebee's. Keep up the great work. read more

I've been coming to this Applebee's for years, always have had great service and better food. These past couple months I've been coming one work rusted out for the rest, Mr. Donihue!!! He always has the best energy, and is on top of it. It's hard to find such hard workers these days, but Applebee's definitely get lucky with such a hard worker!!! read more
