Hadn't been to this Applebee's for quite a while, so figured I'd give it a try again. It was early for lunch so the restaurant was pretty empty upon arrival. The greeter at the door was very friendly and welcoming. It was a very cold day and it was nice and toasty inside along with being very clean and nicely decorated. Applebee's has quite an extensive menu and it was hard to choose. Everything sounded so good! I decided to go with the mushroom cheeseburger and it was a great choice. The burger was cooked to perfection and the roll was nicely toasted. Fries were fresh and hot and more than plentiful. The waiter was very pleasant and attentive, but not overly so. He knew just when to appear! The restaurant became quite busy and it was nice to observe the waitstaff continue to smile and be attentive to their patrons. My fiancee and I are frequent customers here and have been for a number of years. I can honestly say we have never had a bad experience. Most recently we enjoyed an app (mozzarella sticks with marinarra sauce), a fish and chips entree and a chicken, bacon and onion dish - forget what it was called. My fiancee also had a strawberry Margarita and a very yummy dessert. We were seated promptly by a pleasant hostess, and our server, Cam, was very friendly and efficient. Altogether a very nice experience! Will continue our patronage. read more

Didn't have one thing I wanted, so ordered something else. Fries came out cold, server got me new ones and they were great. My husband ordered steak med, got it well done. Like all other places in the area, service will be slow even though the restaurant is half empty. The staff is very friendly and definitely does their best to make sure you're taken care of. Food is great, which is not something that uniform across the franchise. Definitely a great place to watch any game because there are plenty of TVs throughout and not super expensive so you can stay for the whole thing, order food throughout and not completely break the bank. read more

I got takeout from this Applebee's and brought it back to my hotel while staying in the area doing some standardized testing. I ordered ahead online which was pretty easy and then went inside to pick it up. I ordered The Classic Combo, which comes with mozzarella sticks, chicken quesadillas, boneless buffalo wings, and spinach and artichoke dip with chips. By the time I got home most of the food was lukewarm but I expected that. What I didn't expect was how much food there would be! This could easily have been two meals. The only down-side is that the artichoke dip was extremely salty. Otherwise, this is something I'd order again when picking up takeout or dining in at Applebee's. read more

We had a large group for after an event to grab dinner. We went to their website and they had an option to get in the wait-list. We did about 90 minutes in advance to give an appropriate amount of time. We get the text telling us our tables are ready so we show up. We are told there is no such thing as the wait-list. We show them the confirmation text and they tell us it's "not real." After waiting 90 minutes, we are told to wait another 30 and to wait in the parking lot as to not take up space inside. We asked for menus to at least prepare our orders for them to be helpful. We were told by the not pleasant server "you have to use our website for that." Considering we used the website to find the wait-list, which is 'not real," I don't have faith your menu is accurate. The restaurant was empty and they still weren't able to seat us within that thirty minutes. We said it was ok to split us up. It did not change. Honestly one of the worst experiences. read more

I ate here recently, There was only one waitress/shift manager on and the bartender. I sat down at the bar, after using the restroom. I could not find a hostess. I was waited on, promptly. I was served a drink and given a menu. I ordered a 6 oz steak. The meal, came out and was perfect. I had a second drink as well. The prices on mixed drinks is very reasonable. The waitress/shift manager, delivered my meal and provided me with the second drink, while the bartender had attended to other issues. They worked as a team, together! I chatted with both for a short period, during my stay. The drink was not what I would call a stiff drink, compared to small establishment bars. It was still very good to have after a very long day, coming down from the North Country. Overall I would rate them a 4 and 1/2! The food was very good! The service was excellent, Considering they were somewhat busy for two people, they were great in the people department. The atmosphere is the Applebee's Classic, neighborhood style Eatery and this one in Concord is first rate! I got the Chicken Broccoli Alfredo, it was really bad. Nothing against the people that work there, I was just surprised at how low quality the ingredients were, considering applbees is a large corporation - I guess thats the point. It was the nastiest chicken, (you know what I mean?) the noodle sauce thing was obviously a microwave thing, and the broccoli was thrown in afterwards, undercooked, but that was unfortunately the best part because it was the only element that seemed discernibly real to me. If you are new to applebees, definitely don't take any chances there, opt for the Ramen Noodles you got hangin around. read more

I can't say enough about how well we were treated under what must have been trying circumstances. Our band, in Concord on a Saturday night from out of town, finished our show and wanted some late night fare. Most places were closed or only doing takeout. We saw this Applebee's was open until 1 AM, so we went there, arriving at 11:45. A group of ten people arriving this late to a place that had only our server (William B. - great job!), one other server (Emily), a bartender, and a manager, was greeted and ushered to a tables we pushed together. We ordered drinks and food and the service was great. We made sure we cut it off just before 1:00 and got out, but the staff never made us feel like we were imposing and was gracious and friendly. In these trying times of late pandemic and staffing shortages, this place was a model of how to do a good job in trying times. They made us feel welcome and we had a great time. Our next tour there, we'll be sure to come before the show! read more

Went there last week with a few friends. They were terribly slow and forgot to get us utensils and napkins. To top everything off our waitress was very ditzy and acted like she didn't care about her job. One of my friends wanted to take her food home and had at all boxed up when out of nowhere our waitress took her boxed up food and threw it out! She also added on an extra salad to our bill that we didn't order or get at all! The only good thing was the food itself. Terrible service!!! read more

We understand you are understaffed but you need to communicate and not give false hopes for wait times. This is by far the worst device I have ever gotten at any restaurant. I am absolutely disgusted by the staffing and the service. Anytime I eat there, it takes over 2 hours to get food, whether it's busy or not. Not to mention when I get take out, and I go to pick up my order. There's always multiple things missing. Now I understand if it takes a while to get food, because most restaurants don't have a lot of staffing right now, but parts of my order should not be missing when I go to pick it up. And most of the time, they have the audacity to charge me extra for the thing that I ordered when it's missing. When it's clearly on the receipt. I'm from Hawaii. There is NO Applebee's in Hawaii, but we get your commercials all the time! I had to go! It was WONDERFUL! Its open and comfortable, the server was engaging and attentive, and didn't ask how we were when our mouths were full ;) The Manager came by and said hello to every table, which was very very friendly, and the food! OMG the food was really good. The chicken was perfect, and most places over cook it; the vegetables were not too raw and not too soggy the potatos were not to plain and not too salty. Went back into this location to do a follow-up review on since the last experience wasn't pleasurable at all. Follow-up: I was greeted with a smile by a server named Bill who sat me in the lounge area which was appropriate since I was by myself. It took the server 2 minutes to come over and greet my table even though she was standing next to the bar. When the server came over she didn't even mention her name to me or greet me with a smile. I asked her what was in the slaw in the chicken wonton. She wasn't sure and started giving random answers to try and satisfy me then she just walked away came back and didn't give me an answer she was sure of. She could've said "I'm not sure but Ill go find out for you, i'll+ be right back" The manager was on phone at the bar the for pretty much the whole time with his back facing the guests. The bartender isn't professional at all and told the same set of guest 3 times what her name was because she couldn't remember if she remembered to tell them and then tells the guests she isn't used to telling people and she only did because her manager was right there. Once the food came out the pan for steak was not sizzling, loaded mashed potatoes didn't really have any cheese or bacon on it, the fries were cold like they were sitting for a while. I asked Jane the shift leader who just happen to be standing at the host stand right behind me if I could have some hotter fries, and she was extremely happy to assist me and apologetic about the situation. Great guest recovery skills. The decor is very nice the concord wall wrap It would be nice if they would've highlighted maybe political history instead of all the beer light up neon signs. Went to Applebee's recently for the first time in at least a year, and was pleasantly surprised. Still a pretty run-of-the-mill chain restaurant, but the menu had changed a lot since I'd last been in. Friendly service and the food was pretty good, not a bad spot for lunch. Finally I can write a super great review ! Yes Applebee's in Concord NH made our dinner evening from going down hill, to thanks from Mgr. Ben Kirkwood made all the poor service and wrong food orders from kitchen work out just perfect. He noticed we were having problems with lousy service, finally food arrives uncooked, with No clean forks left for us to use. Yes that is true, this location had a shortage of plastic water & soda glasses to no forks available for us. Mr. Kirkwood, came right over to make all this wrong right, and make our dinner just perfect. Desert was on the house, and Yes we will return again. Hard to find anyone who could do anything right sometimes, but Mr. Kirkwood made it all fly right. Woohoo to Applebee's. read more
