Came early to avoid a lunch rush. Ordered hot tea - no spoon to stir in the sugar. Ordered and waited and waited. A couple came in about fifteen minutes after us. That couple received their meal after a wait, but before we received ours. Tried one of their new menu items. Food was ok, about 8 on a scale of 10. Service is okay but the building is in terrible conditions. The roof tiles are falling from the ceiling... I got a picture of some behind me that were molding and had stains on them. I wasn't able to take pictures of the ones that were falling from the ceiling because they SAT PEOPLE AT THE TABLE UNDER THEM. I didn't want the people to think I was taking pics of them. But I'm just thankful the ceiling didn't fall on them. The lamps above the tables were also covered in dust. I wouldn't be surprised if dust got on my food if a slight breeze went by. read more

Stopped here to have a "safe" choice, we know the menu. What a mistake. Walking in the restaurant was hot and smelled like a dirty bar rag. Was seated immediately, but the waitress went to another table that was seated after us. Asked for the drink special displayed at the entrance, sorry, we are out. I ordered applebees carbide to go and spent over $84 only to find part of my order was missing. I was not offered a refund for my missing meal I was told that they would give me a $10 gift card which didn't take care of the tax. We haven't been to Applebees in quite awhile. We were anxious due to the 1.5 star rating on yelp but most recent reviews were good. We were very happy we tried it. The restaurant was very busy but we were seated right away. You could see the staff was a little stressed but everyone was pleasant and attentive to their customers. Our waitress was Makayla. She was straight forward and explained the kitchen was very busy and our food may take a little longer than expected but she would make sure we got it as soon as she saw it was ready. She took care of everything with a smile on her face. No one in the restaurant got irritated or upset. This was a horrible experience. I brought my Mother and daughter here for lunch. After putting in our orders, it took 34 minutes to get a cup of coffee. The appetizer came in 20 mins, which while later, was okay. It was an additional 30 minutes for our meal. I ordered the Whiskey buger. The first thing I noticed, was there was only bacon, burger and cheese. I then asked the server for the lettuce, tom, ect that comes on it. She brought the "salad" on the side. She then had to return for the crispy onions that I had to ask for. I have worked in the industry over 20 years. The plate should have been immediately returned and assembled correctly. Then I took the bun off the burger, and is burnt beyond edible. I have now been waiting 20mins to speak to the MANAGER. It's 1:52pm on Sunday 9/23/2018. My child and mother have eaten. The server has told me again that the manager is coming, and told me they are taking the burger off my bill. My reply, "that's a good thing, since it's not edible." I would highly suggest never... In the top 5 worst restaurant experiences my friends and I have encountered. Our server, April, came up to us a total of three times. Once to take the order, once to bring the drinks, and once to bring the check. She didn't bring our food didn't check on us when we got it and would run away before we could ask for a ranch. Our spinach dip was cold and we had to ask the food runner for help while April was on her phone at the bar. Honestly the 20 minute wait for Applebee's we knew what we were getting into.. short staffed understandable but she did not put any effort in. All three of us are servers so we know how it is right now but that was not service.. she didn't know how to split the bill three ways instead she told us she split it directly in half and it in fact was not.. one bill was $26 and one was $30.
