First time here. Didn't know what to expect. Wasn't t awful. As I have had worse experiences, but I more than likely won't be back. Food was ok. Service was slow even though it was pretty empty. Only wanted a simple, small to go order. Dining room was at about 50 percent full. Waited at host station for about 10 minutes for a waiter to come out--the host had to go back and get the waiter even though he called back. When waiter took the order he was nice enough and told me order would be out in FIVE minutes and I should pay immediately. I actually had to go back outside to my car for my glasses and it probably took five minutes to go pay. After that it took over a half hour to get my food. During the wait, I noticed that the dining room was not seeing the waitstaff very much. What I mean is that coffees were not being filled or tables being attended to. Now I admit I didn't expect the five minutes. When he finally brought my food out. I said I thought you said five minutes, he said I was rude and that he never said that. My food was made to order no complaint there. However, because it was a DoorDash order they did not give me any plasticware which was very important being as though I'm on holiday. I also asked for a "large" orange juice, which I was charged $5 for, but the larger looked "small". Even my Dasher said he questioned this, but the workers insisted this was right size. Lastly the store worker that completed my order, knew this was a "ToGo" order, so why give me more than 1 mini syrp for 3 pancakes, and no salt or pepper packets or no napkins!? I was visiting from out of town and wanted to try this place out. You enter through a gift shop and wait at the entrance inside for a table. The server was very nice and informative. I got the hashbrown casserole and it was seasoned well and tasty. It was nice to try something new and I think I prefer this chain over Denny's. We stopped in for lunch on Saturday of Memorial Day weekend and we were seated immediately. Our server was great! She did a good job ensuring our drinks were full and that we had everything we needed. My husband tried the spicy fried chicken sandwich (which is fairly new to the menu) and said it was tasty! My parents got the campfire dinner to split and it was huge! My 5 year old had the grilled cheese--which is significantly better than just cheese on plain bread, it was a super good sourdough-type bread. I got the grilled chicken tenders and they were perfect! Not dry and very well seasoned. I never felt rushed, which can happen in places where they need a big turnover. I would recommend! read more

All was ok, not great but ok until we went to pay. We had gift cards to use. We always just gave them to the cashier who took care of it. This time, the employee, Joann, was extremely rude. Informed her I never did this. She was cold and demanding in her remarks to tell me how to use the CC machine. I did but something did not work. We look at each other waiting. This location was convenient to the airport. Service was on point despite being a little busy. Hearty portions for the price you pay, very reasonable. Although I have to question why the wait staff and management allowed someone to play a highly political news station on their phones loudly while trying to eat in the dining room. The food was good. Not a long wait. Our waiter was on point except for him rushing us. It was constant and we weren't even an hour into our meal. First, it was "Well here's your check and some boxes". Which we didn't ask for. Then I explained to him I had a birthday desert comp which was horrible but I'll get back to that. So he said go ahead and tell me what it is. I did. Then about 15 minutes he came back asking if we needed anything else and if I was ready for dessert. I had to keep pushing him back about us not being finished. It was only myself and my mother. So it wasn't like we were a big party. Then I asked him are you about to leave or something, but he wasn't. We weren't close to closing either. It was around 6ish. They close at 9 pm. So I didn't appreciate the constant pressure to hurry up eat and leave. Now the desert... I ordered the peach cobbler. It was horrible. A small portion that smelt like dirty socks, and it wasn't even a real cobbler. They now put what looks like 3 pieces of some kind of cardboard cookie biscuit in and put ice cream on top mixed in with the peaches. The price for that dessert was 5.99 and tax. Went here on Thursday September 26th 2024 with my parents as part of our south carolina vacation. This is our first time at this location, but essentially, if you've been in one cracker barrel, you've been in them all! We went directly to the host stand located in the back. We were immediately sat down at a table. Side note is that we went for breakfast, luckily they do breakfast all day. and it was in the back of the lunch menu. We all started with 3 waters, and 2 coffees. I tried their new cinnamon latte in an ice form with whipped cream. I thought that it was pretty good. Waitress was very nice and constantly refilled our coffees, and waters. We ordered as follows: my mom got the mamma's breakfast with scrambled eggs and impossible sausage, my dad got the french toast casserole which was new, and i got a short stack of pancakes with impossible sausage. Impossible sausage is their plant based sausage patty, which i thought was pretty good! All of our breakfast was delicous and came out in a timely manner. Waitress was also quick to get our check, and always made sure we were happy. Left a cash tip on the table, and paid up front. Store is huge and has some nice stuff, although a little pricy. This was my very first time visiting a Cracker Barrel and I can confidently say I am a fan! The food was great. It felt like a home cooked meal in the best of ways. I got the fried chicken with three sides. I got the macaroni and cheese, green beans and fried apples. The apples were amazing. I wish I could've gotten a whole bucket to go! My order also came with a choice of either biscuits or corn bread. I chose the cornbread, and while it wasn't the best cornbread I've ever had, I also can't complain about it. There was so much food I couldn't finish everything. Next time, I'd probably stick to the two sides, but the sides were my favorite part of the whole meal, so maybe not. While we didn't wait, by the time we were leaving it did seem to be more crowded and I think a few people were waiting for a table. Also a side note: despite the name I was shocked that there was an actual store attached to the restaurant. The store was filled with typical gift shop toys and merchandise, but also a ton of throw back candy. I was lucky that we were seated right away or I probably would have bought some. read more

Cracker Barrel you have done it again! Your amazing food and service has captured my heart and stomach. The staff warmly and oh so friendly greeted my mom and I and made us feel right at home. This continued once we were sat and Tanner was our waiter. He made jokes with us, made us laugh, and made our night. He was working so hard and we came to find out that this was his first week working--no way! His customer service skills are amazing! He thanked us for being so kind as he has not experienced it a lot. We thanked him as we haven't been experiencing the best service either. Now the food! Omg! My mom ordered their fried catfish with greens and their hashbrown casserole as a side. I got their fried chicken and coleslaw and greens as my sides. Everything came out pipping hot and so flavorful. The coleslaw was creamy, greens were popping with flavor, and the fried chicken was crispy good!! I wanted to keep eating more and more as usual, but my stomach stopped me! I definitely recommend coming here for a home cooked meal! I love Cracker Barrel, another one of those places that I wish had a location nearby but grateful that there isn't a location nearby.... This location is handling social distancing very well, their employees all wear masks and gloves due to COVID19. The food is always good, their pancakes with real maple syrup are excellent while their entrees are fantastic. My favorites are their chicken and dumplings, meatloaf and fried chicken. The Mac and cheese is above par while their hash brown casserole is off the charts good. I love traveling down south because I always know I will run into a Cracker Barrel. read more

We got seated very fast but our waitress didn't come to get our drink order for 15 minutes and after getting our drink order she didn't bring them out for another 15 we ordered and it took about 25 minutes to get our food. I got chicken and dumplings (the adult portion) and THIS is what I received, basically a kids portion. When I talked to the manager she was very snarky and had a horrible attitude she brought me the tiniest bowl of dumplings and walked away, didn't give a discount or anything i definitely will not be coming back horrible experience over all. read more

He argued and argued with the couple and the man told him politely to leave like 3 times and the manager just continued arguing and arguing! Then he followed the couple out of the store. For WHAT? What was this managers problem? Is this normal treatment of customers? I got up and left! Does he have a problem with inter racial couples? That just wasn't right! He was rude and condescending! We haven't gone to Cracker Barrel in a while. There are so many choices here in Myrtle Beach, our regular favorites become overlooked! We were at the mall, saw it and had to come in to eat. Cracker Barrel chain is very consistent with their decor. Today it was chilly out, so it was nice to come in and be seatef by the wood fireplace. Great ambiance. There is alot of choices for breakfast/brunch from a single egg to a huge three meat and 3 egg platter with biscuit and gravy that I got. Yummy, but I was stuffed! As a con, the bacon was a little too crisp and the sausage a little dry. May have been sitting too long. The eggs were perfect and the sausage and gravy was spot on. The cinnamon french toast "appetizer" was sinfully good. We were happy to have revisited this restaurant. read more

Went in just an hour before close. With Qwyn guiding me to my seat and the amazing service of Nicole C along with her trainee, Jeremy, my meal was perfectly executed, had a clean table throughout my stay and drink always topped off. At first I was unsure of what I wanted but ultimately decided on the classic Momma's Pancake Breakfast, topped with peaches, of course, and cheese on my eggs as suggested by Nicole. Yum!!Absolutely delicious!! I also ordered a side of their new fried cheese bites which paired nicely with the ranch provided. On the way out, Cathy, the retail associate, was happy and smiling, talking with customers while checking them out. Outstanding personality. Overall, I highly recommend this location to anyone as staff have always been kind, supportive to one another, and attentive to all customers, even outside of their sections. Took 20 minutes to be seated, 10 minutes to be recognized, 10 more minutes to get drinks and to place an order. 45 minutes later no food and the person taking order stated our order was lost and the manager was making it now. 10 minutes later we walked out. Everything we ordered should have been quick. People that were seated after us... noticed they received their meal but we still did not receive ours.
