The food was good. I had the chicken Mac n cheese. It was really good and had enough to take with me. My husband had the grilled chicken sandwich and enjoyed it. The atmosphere was great. The lady waiting on us seemed preoccupied with a bigger party, but the service wasn't terrible. Would visit again. read more

Went here again on Friday May 15th 2026. After work, I decided to come here for some dinner. Walked up to the host stand, and I guess whoever greeted me wasn't the host, and told me to walk around a bit, so I sat myself. Then a host came over to where I was seating and nastily told me to next time check in with the host, and ended up moving a table back, and finally got served.No excuse to be nasty tho, but was hungry and wasn't going anywhere else. My server was Michael and he was very pleasant, as well as the training server who was there as well. He started me with a diet coke. Looked over the menu for a bit, and was deciding on salad, or a sandwich, when i found that they have fajitas. Chicken was the cheapest option, so I went with a chicken fajita. The fajita came out in a timely manner, and was steaming. It was a tasty mix of vegetables of peppers and onions with chicken, plus toppings like guac, corn, and more! very tasty and enjoyable. Then I ended the night with some ice cream, and had a brownie sundae! that was huge, but was so good, and I couldn't possibly finish it all by myself! Michael did a great job in checking on me constantly, as well as the other female server. Got the check in a timely manner, total came to 46.80. Paid with a credit card, and left a credit card tip. Service was terrible. Took 15 minutes to get through the two people in front of me in line at the hostess stand. Nobody seemed to know what they were doing and they weren't especially busy. Then our waitress was terrible, had to ask for everything at least twice, sometimes 3-4 times (simple requests like ketchup). Still didn't get a few things. Had to constantly ask for refills because she either didn't notice or forgot when we told her, or both. We were very polite and they weren't that busy so I'm not sure what the issue was. Food wasn't as good as it has been in the past either. Not sure we will be back. Ambiance is typical for Hard Rock, no issue with that. read more

This is one of my top go to places in Myrtle Beach. Food is great, drinks are great, atmosphere is fantastic. Servers and other stuff are very friendly and helpful. We attempted to eat here while on vacation and left after waiting almost 20 minutes without being greeted by a single employee. There was another large party seated after us, directly next us and was greeted and offered water while no one said anything to us. Their party was all white and our party was a mixture of black and white. Our presence there felt very unwelcomed from the time we sat down. Our tipping point of walking out of was when one employee began cleaning a table of across from us and was joined by three additional employees, two of which had to walk by our table to get there. At no point were we greeted, told someone would be with us in a minute, or given any notion that we would be served. When leaving we had to walk by the four employees cleaning the table and they didn't say anything to us or ask if everything was okay. It was a horrible experience and made us feel that it was targeted based on how other patrons were treated that were also a larger party (they had 8, we had 7). Thankfully we walked over to American Tap House and were greeted warmly, immediately sat, and had our food within the same 20 minute time frame we sat at HRC. read more

We really don't go for the food as much as we go to see which musicians they are featuring throughout the restaurant--. This one didn't disappoint at all! Glad we stopped! read more

We came for the T-shirts but it truly was a great stop and meal on our trip. Service here is above par and the whole staff is rocking. Like the staff enjoys working here and you feel it. Everyone was smiling, chatting, helping, like a well oiled machine. Food was great - kids messy sandwich made my daughter's day. T-shirt selection is cool and they have limited edition pins. We even got our picture taken upon entry and I hate those pictures - but they were cool and not too pricey and we actually bought them. Manager of this place is getting it right. We sat at the bar, went on a Saturday night around 8 pm. I ordered the purple haze drink and the Messi chicken sandwich. Waitress was fun and food was yummy and hot. I'm giving a 4 star because it was Saturday night and the live music stopped at 9, and the music that was turned on to play was just horrible. read more

Today was our first time ever going to a Hard Rock Cafe. Our server jessica was good and the manger Nicole was nice and listened to my concern about their food. I can tell you I will never eat at one of your restaurants again your food is horrible and does not look anything like what is pictured . The first thing we ordered was the Messi chicken sandwich and the menu showed two big pieces of chicken so I thought that I could share with my son but that was not the case the sandwich you get has two very small pieces of chicken that is not shareable and he had about 8 fries that meal was not worth 18.99. And my husband ordered the classic burger and that sandwich also looked like two people could eat it and they were also small almost like a burger you could get at McDonald's. Your whole menu is pictured like you get good portions but that is not the case. I think customers should get what they pay for not very small portions. We could have gotten a much better meal somewhere else I won't be back and I will also show any of family and friends how terrible your food is. So don't ever order the Messi chicken sandwich or you will get what is pictured below. Even the mcchicken at McDonald's is bigger than your sandwich. I also plan to email your corporate office. One of the few places in Myrtle Beach that has a separate gluten free menu that is quite extensive. You come here more for the ambiance than the food, I would imagine. A colleague and I both ordered the southwestern chicken salad, which had little to no dressing on it. We both had to request more and weren't even sure whether they put it on the salad at all when it first arrived at the table. The nachos looked amazing on the menu, but arrived at the table and just didn't have that wow factor. Pricey for what you get. Service was not great and took a long time to get our food. The waiter was definitely up in the clouds and kept apologizing for forgetting things. I don't think they had ramped up staffing in mid-February to sufficiently accomodate a large lunchtime crowd. read more

I really wanted to like this place. The memorabilia was interesting to look at and the music along with the music videos were cool. The menu seemed limited and basic. Like, I was expecting "more" for being a touristy place. Food was basic and overpriced. Portions were a bit small for the cost and I left a bit hungry. The server was friendly but didn't do a good job at keeping drinks refilled. I think they were focusing too much on chatting up the tips rather than providing good service. The waitstaff was amazing. My friend and I asked to sit upstairs and nobody was really up there but they allowed us to dine up there unfortunately no restroom upstairs. I love the theme of the restaurant everywhere you turn your head there is instruments, posters, some outfits and accessories on display, the music was playing and outside they have a big red spinning guitar. On the contrary I was a little disappointed in the menu. There wasn't really a large variety but steaks, burgers, 3 sandwich's, salads and like one option of fish. We split the spicy Bangkok shrimp which was pretty good and I ordered the salmon and it came with asparagus and mashed potatoes. It was pretty good. The sauce that was on the salmon was unique but it was good. A bit pricy though so be prepared. 8/10 read more

What a terrible experience, i made a reservation two weeks in advance. I wanted to go here because it has a great atmosphere, a band and is considered a great experience in the main dining area, instead they stick me in a small room with an eleavatorw with just a few tables. I complained to the manager that walk in diners were in the main dining room while we had a reservation and were in a crappy area, he said sorry and that he couldn't do anything. The service was great. We were seated immediately and our server, Brittany, was quick to take our order and bring our food. The ambiance is fun, with all of the music memorabilia. Yoooo, this place is lacking. We are in an unprecedented time but at this point I would much rather you close the restaurant than make me and my family wait for our food for an hour. I get it, people are just not showing up to work these days...but please do better with what you have. Hard Rock is located on the interior of the Boardwalk at Myrtle. It's a great location to watch the fireworks (when they occur). Aside from the location, the food was okay and the manager that handled the outside patio was doing her best and apologized for the lack of service. On April 2, 2025, I had dinner at the Rock Hard Cafe. However, my experience at that location Broadway at the Beach South Carolina was extremely unpleasant. I ordered the chicken fajitas, but there were only three strips of chicken. The cost was $24.99 for three strips of chicken. I confronted the manager and asked him and he said it was weighed. That manager should be fired. For paying $24 for a meal that was not even satisfying. Avoid this place with all costs don't go there. read more

I've always wanted to try this place and today decided it was time. It's still fairly quiet so we got right in. There's a cool gift shop as you enter with lots of apparel and pins and cups.. all kids of stuff. They even had a sale rack seemed like pretty good prices.. we sat and ordered a strawberry lemonade my son got mango berry. It was real good not too sweet had fresh strawberry in it too! Our server was Brittney and she took good care of us..I ordered country cheeseburger my son got the Messi burger with fried egg.. both burgers were very good.. cooked perfect to my liking and his and great flavor.. burger was so juicy I didn't even put condiments on it!! Not greasy at all just big and juicy!! The only thing I had hard time with was prices! Omg burgers were 18 and 19$ ! It was worth it tho! They were good sized and not flat.. You see Hard Rock Cafe's in the most touristy spots throughout the world. From Cape Town, to London, to Myrtle Beach. But you know what, my partner and I have never been to one until 2 weeks ago. We wanted to see what all the hype was about. Walking in, we were already greeted with great service and a super cool ambiance. There were so many legendary rock items signed by artists' and bands, it was extremely neat. Customers are welcomed to walk around the restaurant and check out all of the celebrity items. There was also this cool drum sculpture hanging from the ceiling! For an appetizer we got the onion ring tower ($6) which was delicious and crunchy! For my entree, I got the pulled pork sandwich which was equally as good. The baked beans were surprisingly delicious! Overall, from service, to decor, to food, it was a great experience! read more
