The fries were flavorful, fresh, and definitely the highlight of the meal. The wrap itself was good, but I was expecting a much stronger Doritos flavor. There wasn't much of that signature taste inside the wrap, so it felt like a missed opportunity considering the concept. You can also upgrade your order with street corn mixed with Hot Cheetos or Doritos for an additional $2.99. My total, including tip, came to a little over $18. While that's a bit on the pricey side, the wrap was massive and easily enough for two meals. My food was ready in less than 10 minutes, and everything tasted fresh. Overall, it's a fun and creative concept with generous portions. I just wish they'd lean into the theme a bit more by adding more of that bold Doritos flavor to the wrap itself.

Attention, all hands! This is Captain 619, reporting in from the Applebee's in El Cajon, CA. Today, on Veterans Day, me and the 4 Star General aka my wife decided to swing by this establishment to take 'em up on their offer of a free meal for us vets, no matter what branch we serve(d) in. As soon as we rolled up, the manager, Cynthia, and her platoon of servers were standing at attention, ready to provide us with the finest dining experience this side of the chow line. They must have known we were coming, 'cause they had the red carpet rolled out and the medley of all the military service songs playing. Alright, maybe I'm exaggerating a bit, but the hospitality was top notch. These men and women truly understand the importance of Veterans Day and the sacrifices our brothers and sisters in arms have made, whether they're Army, Navy, Air Force, Marines, Space Force or Coast Guard. It's not just about getting a free meal - it's about honoring those who've paid the ultimate price to defend our great nation. Applebee's gets that, and they showed it through their actions. Cynthia and her "storm troopers" (as I like to call 'em) were attentive, courteous, and genuinely grateful for our service, no matter which uniform we used to wear. They treated us vets like heroes and that is humbling, and for that, I salute them. The food was, as always, "Eatin' Good in the Neighborhood," but the real star of the show was the appreciation and respect shown to those who've worn the uniform, no matter the branch. So, to Cynthia, her crew, and the entire Applebee's family, I say Semper Fidelis, Anchor Down, Aim High, Ooh-Rah, and Semper Paratus! beem going to this location for years, it has really gone downhill the past 3-4 months, me my girlfriend aand here 2 boys like to go here for happy hour once in a while and the past 2 times our waitress was just a complete lazy bum, i cant remember her name nor do i care to blast it on social media, she has a bad attitude and doenst even pay attention while taking your order shes waving across the dining room at a friend. On top of that my girl orders a salad, and a chicken breast. this chicken breast costs 10$ and is the size of a kids portion. Me, and my ggirlfriend having worked in the industry for 10+ years can underrstand a mistake here and there, but my god 10$ for that chicken, no, wasnt having it. Only thing that saved this place from taking a 1 star is that the friendly manager who usually works mornings frequently checked on us, and even ended up giving us a desert on the house and some wings to go, we were expecting her to just comp the chicken off, and it turned out she comp'd the whole bill. Our server was tayler. Before we even sat down, she seemed like she was annoyed to serve our party. When we sat down, she did not even give us time to think about getting. When we had explained to her on what we wanted, she still seemed confused when we made everything clear to her. She had messed up our order 3-4 times. She had given us extra items that we did not ask for which seemed like a waste. When we had asked for items, it would take 10-15 min for it to arrive. We had asked her if we could get a to go box to take the extra items she had given us to not throw away, she rudely told us no. Not to mention, she had given us plastic utensils while individuals in the dining room were served with metal utensils. Before we even asked her for our check while still eating, she had given it to us while waiting for us to pay right away and leave. The bar restaurant area was very spacious with ample seating at the bar I had ordered a drink at the lanes which had maybe four cubes of ice in it so I came over here and had them add more eyes and they gave me a glass of water which was also very nice The menu look pretty good I try to slice of pizza that my friend ordered it was fine I did not taste anything else, but I imagine I'll come back here again because the place is going through a remodel and it looks pretty cool

Went earlier in the day where it wasn't too busy and had great service on two occasions with both Jackie and Juan! I would love to come check it out when it's more busy and see how the service is then too. Also big shout out to meeting the general manager, Mike. Very friendly, had a great conversation with him and don't be afraid to introduce yourself! The restaurant is very spacious and clean, tons of seating both at the bar and regular tables. It's a good mix of booths, high tables, and lower tables. Onto the food, I tried the buffalo chicken fries, the wings (fresh not frozen), and the barbecue chicken flatbread and all were amazing. I would most definitely order them again, but looking forward to trying more items on the menu. Highly recommend you give this restaurant a shot!
