I like their oriental chicken salad, very refreshing and tasty. Once I brought my friend there to have a late lunch, the waitress guided us to a table and served us politely. She's pretty nice but somehow too friendly, she came to our table and asked "how's everything" for like 5 times, which was a little annoying. Well I went here with my wife tonight and we ordered are food and and appetizer and every thing was going well but the waitress sat my wife and I between these two family's with kids and the kids were so missed behaved and we both were trying to eat but the kids were screaming and running down the restraunt with food in there mouths the manager said he could not do anything about it but are food came and the food they brought me was baby back ribs and I ordered a sirloin steak and and I had two wait another 20 minutes for my food and by the time I got my food it was cold and I got sick and tired with the service I refused to pay the manager said sorry but this was one of the worst apple bees services ever I will never eat at the ran home sandiego apple bees ever again stay far away from this place and choose another restaurant besides ranch sandiego apple bees there are plenty of other great food in that area they lost my service never again read more

Nothing like having someone who really enjoys they're job, multi tasking but staying on task, friendly and concern, going above and beyond. You can really tell he enjoys his job. Ever so often, a busy restaurant can keep you high and dry and away from good service especially when the food is awesome, but it really ultimately makes a difference when the waiter can bounce around. I just had a great experience here and I am writing this as I sit at the table so I don't forget to write it! I got here before the restaurant opened and I had to use the free WIFI so I parked in the pickup spots as no one would be picking up before the restaurant opened. About 10 min before they opened, a manager walked out to see if I was waiting for an order. I told him no, but I needed to use the WIFI until they opened and he invited me in 10 min before they opened. Scott (the manager) was really friendly and I heard him talking to a bunch of customers. You could tell he really cared about them and their opinions. It was refreshing. He pretty much was my waiter once I got in as well. He allowed me to order the Veggie Patch Pizza which is no longer on the menu but it is my favorite. It was wonderful! I also got the sweet potato fries and he told me that they hand make all their sauces. We chatted about sauces and other food things. I finished my lunch with the churro smores (BEST DESSERT EVER) and was surprised to see the dessert it was on the house when I got the bill. I've Always like their riblets but it had been a few years since I had them so I decided to order some with their 2 for $20 deal. Do you remember the square meatloaf you would get In Elementary school lunches? Well this is exactly what it tasted like. The first meal our waitress brought me was, no exaggeration, ice cold on one end and scorching hot on the other. The microwave technicians in the kitchen must not of heated it up long enough. So sent it back. Second one I got was scorching hot as expected. It's been 2 days and the meat still makes me wanna gag. Barf. Never ever getting that again. I went here last Friday night since I recently moved into the area. I have to say the wait staff is very nice but the food was disgusting. For the appetizer we got the spinach and artichoke dip and chips. It had one sliver of artichoke in the whole dip and it looked like it had been sitting around a while waiting for someone to order it so it could get heated up. I thought that was bad but my wife had the spinach and artichoke chicken cavatappi. The only way that I could describe it is inedible. Thankfully when I told the waiter he took it off the bill. I got the all day brunch burger which tasted like drive through quality food. It was better than the pasta so we split it since we were not about to order more food from here. The prices are way to high for this quality of food. Next time I am going to Outback Steakhouse. read more

I was very pleased with how great our service was. We were seated right away, greeted very quickly and had drinks just as quick. It wasn't very busy while we were there, but there have been other times we ate at this location, during busy hours and got served pretty quickly despite the rush. Anyways, our server Jordan was beyond friendly and very attentive. His friendly service and constantly checking on us really made the experience out to dinner so much nicer. He knows our favorite meals, knows each member of our family and we share our life experiences. He's even got the cook trained to know how to make my husband's chicken sandwich. Want your Father's Day ruined? Well then stop in here. We should have left when we got there but for some reason we didn't. It took more than 5 minutes to get a table when there were only 3 tables with guests at them. I had to stop one of the several people who walked by without acknowledging us before this happened. Once we sat down it took 15 minutes to place a drink order (which was water for us due to being in the heat all day). When the waitress finally came back to take our order (which we were clearly ready to do when she took our drink order but walked away before we could do so) we felt rushed and like we were bothering her time. My husband and I chose off of the 2 for $25 menu, choosing mozzarella sticks for our appetizer. Thankfully those only took another 20 minutes. I was so happy when they came in undercooked. You know how cheese bounces? Yea, pretty sure they would have done that. I had to stop someone from walking by to get those replaced. The replacement came out in under 5 minutes. After another 20 minutes, our waitress came out to inform us that the kitchen had been backed up and our food would be out shortly. Which is amazing considering there was only eight tables that had guests at them, most of them having come in after us and they all had their food. When our food did arrive, our daughters pizza had clearly been sitting out for some time (the cheese looked fake by this point) and only parts of our meals were warm. Our youngest daughter had no luck as the pizza was cold and her cheese sticks, you guessed it, bounced yet again. After trying to flag down our server, or anybody who walked by, I decided to page her using the little kiosk. Took her 15 to notice that part, even after walking by us several times. I asked for a manager. Never in my life have I had such service. However once I met the manager, I understood why his staff acted the way they did. Half way through telling him how upset I was, he looked at my husband and asked him what it was that he (meaning my husband) had called him for. Now my husband is not one to complain and in 10 years I've seen it once. He got upset and the managers stopped him to respond with "Well I guess I'll just have to eat the cost of your meals then won't I?" And WALKED AWAY. We waited for several minutes and checked to see if we had a bill before finally leaving. I would give this establishment a negative 5 stars if I could. The service here is lousy even on a slow Tuesday night before Thanksgiving. My girlfriend's daughter ordered a salad, the waitress didn't ask what dressing she wanted. They brought our appetizers without any plates even though there was a table of 5 people in our party. It took forever to get more water, and to top it off, one of the seaters (?) made an unfunny inappropriate joke when he brought the steak sauce. Love this Applebee's. We live close by and go there often and the food has always been good. The service is also good, we have never had slow service. Their prices are reasonable and you can get a delicious meal for two for under $30 plus drinks. The place is always clean and the staff is very polite. I hate to see the lack of care here. We ordered apps, and when the manager delivered them he saw we had no plates or silverware and said he'd bring them. Well, ten mins later we flagged down our waiter to get them. Meanwhile, we saw the manager just walking around. By then our apps were cold and not very tasty. We both ordered their new steak salads and found the steak Very chewy. It was very difficult to cut with our regular table knives. No steak knives. We came here yesterday as we were in the same plaza and unsure of where to go. Normally chain restaurants have huge portions and we were starving. We ordered a bourbon steak, chicken with Portobella mushrooms plate and an entree chicken salad (I think it was called fiesta salad). When our entrees arrived, we all were thinking, "are these appetizers?". My salad was tiny. I'm not a big eater. I normally save half my salad from Casa De Pico, Chilis, or BJ's. this was half of their sizes (for the same price as other chains). Barely any chicken in it at all. I was shocked. I'm not a big girl, I wear a size 6, and it's not like I eat more than the average person. But I left hungry. So did my husband and brother in law (who are also light eaters). My husbands steak had no flavor and was really chewy to a point where he was only eating it so he could satisfy his hunger. My brother in laws dish was the only one with flavor and I would get that again if i wasn't hungry and just wanted to "snack" on something. This was so bizarre as we left hungry from a chain restaurant where usually we take home leftovers or walk out super stuff. This place is overpriced for what you get (entrees same price as Cheesecake Factory with none of the flavor and half the portions). read more

I really wish we couldn't give a star at all. I am not big on 'Yelp'ing, however the menu was extremely deceiving. Our food was disgusting to say the least. Burger was overcooked, the chicken tenders looked like they were from 3 days ago, the french onion soup smelled and tasted like a dirty sock and the kids shrimp was worse than a frozen dinner. Our service was ok but overall we were extremely dissatisfied. Word of advice, don't let the menu pictures fool you. Looks truly can be deceiving. Stick to the salads and the cocktails.
