More often than not, the host team doesn't know what tables are actually being waited on, and more than once I've seen a short argument between the folks up front trying to decide where to put us. Sometimes the wait staff is incredible, other times you'll find the service unfriendly and/or slow. Sometimes the kitchen is quick and accurate, sometimes it's slow and you get extra tomatoes on a plate clearly marked with a "No Tomato" sticker.
