So Applebee's was another first for me! I went during my residency in Michigan. I didn't really have high hopes since we have them back in LA and I'd never gone, but honestly, the food surprised me, it was good. We ended up going two days in a row. We sat at the bar both days and were lucky to have Cassandra, who was super sweet, friendly, and made the experience even better. The first day I got the Whiskey Burger, and the next day I tried the Bourbon Steak. Both were good, but that Bourbon steak with mashed potatoes was my favorite. The drinks, on the other hand, weren't great. Not strong at all, but for $5-$6 a drink, I can't say I expected much. Definitely worth skipping the cocktails. read more

Friendly team members with good food. Two for $25 is an awesome deal. Wonton tacos and bacon cheeseburger were great.

Once this place was a favorite of mine and the family when it first came to town. I have not been back in years and so I came by today and was not disappointed. The bartender was very friendly and very helpful. The food was as good as I remembered. read more

Randomly kicked off waitlist after waiting over an hour and they could not give us an explanation.

At one point this was the best place to eat. Not anymore. The men's bathroom had on toilet working and there was urine and water all over the floor. The restaurant in general had garbage all over the floor. Our food was brought to us and sat down we had no silverware, took 10 minutes to get it. The food was sub par and lacking the usual amounts while the prices are raised higher. I do not suggest this restaurant to anyone. read more

Been coming to this Applebee's location since it opened. Went last Saturday night . Sat at the bar, not busy at all. It took almost 5 minutes to get a look from the bartender. We were going to eat but with the poor service and very loud dance music blaring we left. read more

The last two times I've ordered curb side service, my food has not been ready, and when delivered, it's cold. I live three blocks from Applebee's, and there is no excuse. The last time I was there, I texted I was ready, and ten minutes later, I never received a response. I went in and got the food off the shelf myself. No more Applebee's for us. read more

I ate at your Jackson MI location today 2/13/23at 1130 am I ordered a 1/2 rack of ribs with mashed potatoes. The restaurant was fairly empty, but it took some time to receive the food. We recently visited, used to go here more often. 45+ wait, when there were empty tables. The table they tried sitting us at...and walked away...was dirty and someone had clearly spilled a tray while bussing, puddle on the floor, sticky, garbage and food. It was like we were putting them out when we asked for a different table. Then our pregnant waitress slipped in the puddle of pop and almost fell. Then took almost 30 to place order and another 30 plus for food. Food was alright but definitely over priced. Definitely short staffed...Definitely poorly managed. read more

I notifier that I talked to a manager yesterday about an order being all messed up not only was my one item missing two things that was supposed to go in with it my chicken was burnt and incorrectly made.. the manager told me he was not a big deal and she would replace my order which they did but I got an attitude from the girl the whole time I was there she ended up throwing plastic bags my way when I asked her for something to take it to go also I ordered more things to go cuz I was already there both salads had no dressing it's a shame... Was told a 20 to 30 minute wait we were going to wait however, there was approximately 4 to 5 people standing at the hostess area telling everybody 20 to 30 minute wait meanwhile there was at least 10 tables that I saw that were completely empty two of which were like the eight seat long tables. I stood there, waiting with me, my wife and my service dog and kept getting pestered about my dog kept having to move him away so people wouldn't step on him, but there was no rush to help seat anybody, or us due my apparent Disability in which I need a service dog. those individuals that kept coming back in to be seen it were individuals that got kicked off the waiting list because they did not show up after they were notified after 10 minutes but they got re-put back into the system immediately immediately and we're seated and caused are waiting time to increase. This service here was absolutely deplorable! would not recommend! Unfortunately, yelp does not allow me to read zero stars, but that would be my rating, I ordered food here a couple months ago for my father in law and was served raw chicken. I called and complained and they offered to prepare me some more food. Absolutely not after that point if you're going to serve raw chicken, that's a definite strike in my book. then a few months later, we thought to ourselves that we would give this location another chance, we dined in and there were seven of us. Our waitress messed up our bill then got a new bill that was messed up then I had to get a new pill that was correct. It's a bit ridiculous when it takes that many tries to get a proper bill for a table 7 after we explained who was on Webbville two times in a row actually three times in a row. The ambience of the restaurant was kind of lackluster since there was multiple tables, empty, and yet everybody was crowded and waiting The alcohol bar was completely packed because people did not want to be standing around so us standing for almost 30 minutes is ridiculous. read more

Curbside to go from Applebee's checked all the boxes for this lazy, germophobic hungry gal. I've been trying to support local as much as possible during Covid but wanted to take advantage of a gift card I had for some time. I also was able to use a $5 off $25 coupon found online so paid $4 (including curbside tip) for my meal. My curbside guy, yes, he's my guy now- was fabulous! Knew the names of his upcoming patrons as I couldn't remember if I put the order under mine or my husbands name. Though I was 5 minutes early, food was hot and ready to roll. I got the spin dip, French onion soup and my husband got the chicken and shrimp with masked potatoes. The seasoning on his food was excellent other than the potatoes, slightly underwhelming spuds. I didn't have to get out of my car or cook tonight, gah bless applebees. read more

Restaurant was basically empty but there was still a 40 minute wait. The waitress was great and the food was good, the but front of house employees were screwing around with the bus boy and didn't get any tables clean. Ordered the Blackened Cajun Salmon WITH GARLIC MASHED POTATOES. I was looking forward to the garlic mashed potatoes but someone forgot the garlic. Big disappointment. The Salmon and broccoli spears were good. But the plate presentation is blah. Not even a sprig if parsley. It wouldn't take much to dress up the plate. This isn't going to change our dining out at Applebee's but my expectations are low. read more

Was an okay experience until we found a long black hair wrapped up in our neighborhood nachos. It was our yelp appetizer so it was free, but I guess free food isn't top priority on the quality scale. Manager didn't really help much either. Please find another place to eat. read more

I came for happy hour and ordered the classic sampler and a patron margarita. My co worker and I love happy hour, however we will never come back here. I never received my order just my drink. Although the server was really sweet, the overall experience was horrible. The food took almost an hour to get to the table. Mine and my wife's steaks were not cooked correctly. The broccoli was cold. The restaurant itself was freezing, so by the time our silverware showed up everything was cold. It just sucked. read more

I am updating my review from a few years ago. Since I have been coming here recently I have noticed big improvements. Now the staff is always friendly but the service is more than better than what it was a few years ago. The food seems to be better too I don't know why because pretty much all Applebee's are the same but I will give a lot of credit there must be new management or something read more

Wow! SHOCKED is all I can come up with. No manager to be seen on the floor. It was an hour wait with only 10 tables being used..yes I said 10. We asked why all the empty tables after them telling us an hour wait... It was because they didn't have enough kitchen staff scheduled. But yet you had four people at the hostess stand sitting people and nobody could help the kitchen?We asked them if we could sit at the bar, there were a few spots open, we were told there was a wait for that too. After waiting 45 minutes we watched a group of 4 come in and were told it would be an hour to an hour and a half wait. They asked if they could sit at the bar and the hostess said sure. Now we have been sitting there for 45 minutes and when I questioned why they were just seated while we've been sitting there she had a stupid look on her face and said oh I forgot we had room now. How does a restaurant not have enough staff for the kitchen and your servers only have one or two tables. I've waited many tables in my days I could handle up to 15 without breaking a sweat...This would've killed me having one or two tables how can you live on Tips from one or two tables a night. I feel sorry for your Applebees waiters and waitresses. For corporate or the franchisee who owns this Applebees know in the two hours that we sat there waiting and eating you had over 217 guest that walked away because of the wait time...and yes we counted 217.
