Apparently a group of girls who worked there came in drinking, loud at the bar. When we were leaving the parking lot same group of girls dancing on top of the car's playing loud music. This place is going down hill I don't know if new management took over but I will not be returning. We will spend our money elsewhere read more

I had to cancel my orders due to the way I was undermined and dismissed when I pointed out a poorly prepared and presented appetizer that I previously had at this location and thoroughly enjoyed. However this time around I was underwhelmed and disappointed with what was served to me and when I expressed to the server what was missing she instantly got annoyed and ignored my attempts to communicate with her how I wanted the dish fixed. The restaurant was filthy, the card service didn't work so they kept holding people hostage until the bill was paid and trying to get customers to send employees their bill payments via Cash App and Apple Pay. Applebee's as a franchise is not what it was and is no longer capable of providing quality service and food, so they will never receive a dime from me. My experience was so bad that I downloaded this app and created an account just so I could hold them accountable and share my horrible experience... I placed a to-go order today to be picked up at 5:02 pm, I arrived at 5:03 pm. I was waiting in the curbside pickup for 25 mins before an employee came outside with my order. They were not busy, maybe 8 cars in the parking lot. My food was cold and from the appearance alone looked like a stomach ache. I ordered the bourbon chicken and shrimp but it absolutely did not look edible at all. The shrimp was the size of a penny. The chicken looked like it was soaked in mold and oil. I wanted to try this Apple Bs near me and the parking lot was super empty during lunch time. That should have given me a red flag alert but I figured we just got there before the lunch rush. We get seated and wait for our food. Our server was really nice but really unprofessional. He wasn't wearing a uniform and had headphones in his ear. Which I understand the restaurant was slow, but having headphones and talking to someone on the phone while taking an order is really unprofessional. It gives me GREAT pleasure to write this review for the dinner service that my family had on yesterday. First let me say, the restaurant was not busy so I was reluctant to dine in, but I was wrong! We were promptly greeted at the door by Bryce, a young african-American male. He introduced himself and escorted us to our table. I had a toddler in our party and Bryce really catered to him. After ordering, he brought the kiddo's food first so he didn't have to wait. Bryce offered plastic silverware that was kid-friendly and hand sanitizer - he anticipated every need. He immediately brought our food to the table to include refills and a hot glass of water - we didn't even ask, but he knew that it was needed. He constantly checked in to ensure that we were okay and the food was good. The food was hot, fresh, and delicious so Kuddos to the kitchen staff! Bryce made sure to top us off with To-go drinks (water, Coca-cola, apple juice). I found myself complimenting the entire service and generously thanked him upon our departure. Mother's Day we all had a craving for some food at Applebee's which we have visited many times before but not at this location. Because we had our elderly mother wheelchair bound, we sent a family member in to check on the wait before leaving the car. They said for us to come on in and pointed to the table they could sit our party of 5. But after we all got out of the car and went on in the building, the table wasn't ready and it took the host 15 minutes before telling us we couldn't sit at that table and offered us another one. We sat and waited 10 minutes before a waitress finally showed up and she brought us silverware and menus. I noticed the menu I had had food all over it. I started to ask the waitress for a clean menu and she said I'll be right back and left abruptly. It was another 15-20 minutes before she showed up again. No apologies but told us she had to wait on another table that came before us. We were pretty fed up because after waiting with our elderly mother for at least some beverages/water which we weren't offered at all, we decided to leave this restaurant. I wanted to complain to the manager and asked the waitress AND the host for the manager but after another 5 minutes or so the manager didn't appear. I did see the host speak to the manager who seem to acknowledge him but she didn't show up. This was the absolutely worse experience ever at any restaurant that I've attended in my lifetime. But because we wanted Applebee's we went to the one in Snellville. We ordered for take out and our experience there was far better. The manager was quick to tell us that there would be a wait and patiently waited for our food. Snellville was always a better experience for us and we will never go to this one in Lithonia again. I was so excited about ordering food from Applebee's since we don't have one near I live in Illinois. We ordered food that was supposed to be done by 830 pm and when we went to pick it up they had not even started the order. They had people waiting to be seated as some of their employees just walked around looking and avoiding them. People just started leaving. Then I kept asking about my order and nobody would give me a response. I asked to speak to the manager who told us that the timing on the the website is not accurate and gave me no explanation of what happened and frankly seemed like she did not care and so I cancelled the order and walked out. The plate was sad, the way is was presented seem like someone had eaten part of it, the meatballs were terrible, the texture and flavor, felt so processed I'm sure there was no meat in it. I decided to eat here cause I was getting hangery, but I just left more upset paying $26 for an entree and side.. I ordered a Prime Rib Dipper through the Applebees website and received a sandwich that looked like it was made at someones house. I expected more for something i paid $13 for. It is so ridiculous. I ended up taking the food back to the restaurant myself and explained that it wasn't what I expected and was told that they no longer carried the ciabatta bread. I feel that if that was the case then why not remove it from the menu so that this doesn't happen again. Where do you even get regular sliced bread from at Applebees? I was told that i would be issued my refund at the end of the night by management when she closed out the register. Walked in and when directly to the bar to have lunch. The reason I prefer to sit at the bar when I am alone, is you can get a beer quicker as opposed to sitting at a table, where it can take 20 minutes for the waitress to bring you a beer. I ordered wings and when I bit into them the bone was purple. That tells me that they have been cooked, then frozen or refrigerated and then reheated when ordered. The phone rung none stop for about a minute each time for no one to answer. I placed my order online after having ample technical difficulties, for me to arrive to pick it up and it's barely no one in the place and my food isn't ready after saying it'll be ready by 8:37pm. Which confused me because no one could answer the phone.. hmm. I walked over to the pick over area and stood there for about 10 minutes until I asked the hostess, was anyone coming over to the Togo area to give me the food I paid for. He apologized for the delay and advised he was the only server working. He attempted to seat my party of 4 near the bar. The bartender rudely said " I am not taking anymore tables" I was about to leave expecting the wait and service to be horrible. He immediately apologized and said I will take you. He seated our party and took our order. He was always very polite and professional not just with my party but with all the other patrons.
