The mananger is truly incompetent and seriously needs some customer service training. Unapologetic about the horrible experience. We ordered a simply meal of 2 for $20 and a appetizer pick 3. The waiter was new so he wrote down the wrong thing and didn't bring out the main entrée. We requested coffee,didn't come for 10mins, brought out the entrée finally and sat it down without looking at that he was doing and dropped on my husband pants. Took 10 more minutes for him to bring wet napkins. It was just a bad experience all around. Then when the manager comes over she seems to already have an attitude as if we were bothering her. We explained the situation, she nonchalantly said ok let me see what I can do. Didn't apologize not once,just blamed it on him being new. So we sat there and 10mins goes by because we we were waiting on her to "fix" the bill as she said. I noticed she kept walking in the area but never came back. So I got up and approached her and she was under the impression he had brought back the updated bill...In which he had not. She goes to the back and finally he shows up with the updated bill. July 31, 2020 I walked in around 9pm to place a to-go order. The male hostess was just standing nonchalantly at the front as if he wasn't at work. He finally greeted me and asked if i wanted a menu, i said yes and was handed one. So another gentleman and I asked was someone going to take our order and the hostess left and came back to say someone was coming. 20 minutes later no one came so i asked if it would be better to place an online order he says "IDK, I guess" that should have been my clue to just not order. So i go to my car order curbside and it states it would be ready at 935pm. I start fiddling with social media and realizes its 1005 and still no food. I go in ask to speak to the mgr and she comes out apologizes and I ask for a refund. She states it will take 7-14 business days since I ordered online. So i say nevermind and just bring me my food. When she brings it out its ICE COLD since I was supposed to have it at 935. She offers to remake the food (which I never do) and she does and brings it back out and its only lukewarm which means she probably just microwaved it. She stated she made it fresh and the temp of the chicken should be 160*, but i was able to pick it up with my bare hand which means it wasn't fresh as she stated. The customer service her and the staff was just horrible, this is the only Applebee's in my area and will not be going back there. Also she said curbside isn't available after 9 but i was able to place that type of order. What should have be done is I should have been called to let me know that I was going to have to come in to get my order but she said their phones wasn't working. read more

Horrible service! Each and every time I go there. Takes forever to place an order and my food is never right. One time I ordered spinach as my side. I opened my bag and had a side salad. I was like where is my spinach? They said "we ran out so we just gave you a salad because that the side you had with your other order." WTF!!! From the moment we arrived there was a feeling of I don't give... We were seated and when we asked for a towel to dry the table we were given attitude. Then we had to wait 20m before the waiter even came to greet us. He did not introduce himself at all and seemed nervous the entire time. Although he got better as time went on there was still a lot to be desired. The food was just ok, the drinks seemed off and the wait time was horrendous. You didn't feel welcomed, there was staff giving dirty looks to the table, and not paying attention because a table dined and dashed them. All in all I will not be a patron to this location again. Again the only saving grace was the waiter seemed to calm down but still didn't pay us too much attention we had to constantly stop him to ask for drink refills. "ROACH CRAWLED ACROSS MY TABLE " On October 23,2015 i went to this location for lunch with a friend. After being seated at our table we were greeted by a bug crawling across our table. i immediately "SMASHED THE ROACH", with "MY MENU as it was approaching me. i called the waitress over and i showed her the other part of the roach off the table that i killed as it was "STUCK TO MY MENU". she took the menu and "REACHED ACROSS ME" with her plastic badge and she "SLID" the remainder of that roach onto the "BESIDE MY CHAIR". she apologized and asked if we were ready to order. i told her to give us a minute because i was pissed at this point because the the waitress "DIDN'T CLEAN OFF OUR TABLE" immediately after she removed the bug off our table. we had to call her back to our table and asked her to clean it off before our food came out,(SMH). In spite of the situation, we still ate there and paid for our food. i asked for the MOD, they told us he wasn't there and they wasn't sure when he would be back. we sat there over 30 minutes waiting to see the manager. i used my cellphone to call there while i was sitting there waiting, still not manager, I was placed on hold, still no manager. when he did show up to our table, we explained we didn't want a free meal, we just wanted to let them know about the roach and the dirty menu that was used and the next table beside us. Long story short, he acted like he didn't believe us and all he gave us was a $5 voucher and apoligized. WHO does that? read more

I generally love Applebee's but my experience at this location was pitiful. The bartender was extremely rude and the atmosphere was down. The staff mostly talked with one another and ignored guests. First let me say I waited TWO HOURS for a steak and half rack of ribs on the 2/$25 special and still didn't get my food as I was told it had been thrown away because I went to my car for 3 minutes (I have two small children and the waiter "Jalair" hadn't been back out from the BOH for at least30 minutes for me to let him know). I asked for a manager. The manager "Dewayne" made every excuse in the book "its chaotic" (we were there well before the diner got full), everybody else (ppl who came well after us) ordered fried foods (steak only takes up to 12 minutes but I ordered med-rare, so 8 minutes) before asking "well... what can I do for you" I asked for the check for my drinks, paid and left. The service is horrible, staff spiteful (I think all this happened because I asked for a new server as our server (Porsche) was attempting to serve the whole side of the restaurant by herself while other staff walked around looking lost. When I did request Jalair it was for that reason to which he responded "I am lost. I don't know what section I'm supposed to be in lol" HOT MESS! And they didn't even offer anything to accommodate us. I'm so done! First and last time I visit this location. read more

I wish I could give this place 0 stars. Sitting here over 40 minutes and they haven't been able to bring out our drinks out. How hard is it to pour 2 glasses of wine?? Our food came out before we even got our first drink. How incompetent do you have to be to be this slow? Our waitress was super sweet and did the best she could. But the bartender is beyond slow and incompetent. She sent over the wrong drinks. Then took another 40 minutes to even bring over the right wine. As someone who got off a late flight and was looking for something to eat. This is the wrong place to go. The music is too loud and bar service is horrible I almost feel like I'm in a club. Worst service I've ever experienced. Staff handling multiple duties, hostess was my waitress, and had too many tables. Had to request napkins and silverware from another waitress. Realized that there were ants coming from window onto table. Informed staff, which stated she'll inform manager, and then proceeded to seat incoming guest, had to get her attention 5 minutes later to tell her to grab a manager ASAP. She gets a manager who comes over and I point out ants that I killed, she said you can move to another table which we did. I was disgusted but figured we would be good now, sat at new table waiting on waitress, which never came back so we could order another serving from the all you can eat promotion. I went and ask another waitress to get the manager, she bought the same female manager over. Without an attitude I stated to her that we've been having horrible service, her reply was "have a good night". I will and will never return to Applebee's again. read more

This was the worst experience I have had in 2 years. I sat at a table with four other people for 15 minutes before I eventually got up to ask if I had a waiter. There were 5 waitresses/waiters standing near the front door laughing and playing with each other. One persons then told me laughing that someone would be with me. 5 minutes later a waitress finally came and took orders. She appeared to be pleasant and disappeared for another 10 minutes before returning with drink orders. Food came within the next 15 minutes, however I received wonton tacos when I ordered potstickers. I was afraid to wait any longer so I told her to just leave them. The waitress came to the table several times to check on us but never took anything off the table. She asked once was everything ok and I told her that I was just going to start placing our dirty plates on the table across from me. She then took those plates from the other table but never cleared the other plates on our table. It was very apparent that there were very low expectations of the wait staff at this establishment. One star might be unfair since I can't say what the meal would have been like if any of the wait staff had ever acknowledged us. A workmate and I went into this Applebee's today and were told there would be a 15 minute wait for a table even though there were several high tops, booths, and two tops scattered throughout the restaurant and available seats at the bar. There were a few groups of four already waiting, and it seems the hostess didn't know that she could seat us ahead of them if there were tables too small for their groups. After we were seated (two minutes early!), we waited through about fifteen minutes of being ignored and listening to some guy at the bar shout to his companions loudly enough to make everyone around us glare his way. Apparently, though, no one in management could hear him since no one did anything about it. Finally, while two waitresses played with the game tablet at the next table over and two others stood around chatting with each other, we decided to leave. Went to the restaurant at noon on a Friday for a business lunch. Once we sat down that is when it started. We ordered 2 sweet teas, 2 waters, and 2 hot teas; there were 4 of us. Even asking more than once we never received water, the hot tea was not hot. The server took out order and you could tell it would not be right. While we were sitting there with the place busy at lunch time, the employees were sitting at a table eating there lunch while serving customers, they never washed there hands before going to a table. Our server was standing at the register in back eating 2 feet away from us. When we finally got our food half of it was wrong. Once we all had food, it was cold, soggy, and the sandwiches had condiments on them that are not even on the menu. I live in the area and I visit this Applebee's on a monthly basis. My visit on June 17, 2018, was meet with the typical friendly attentive staff but the music was way too loud for family dinning establishment. My guest and I sat across from each other but it was difficult to have a normal conversation because of the loud music. As we were seated at the table we also noticed that the tabletop surfaces and the presto game/payment machine were sticky indicating a cleanliness issue that needs to be addressed. We were seated in a position to observe the entry door and I saw 2 couples turn around and leave and I'm not sure why they left but I suspect the music volume was overwhelming and highly noticeable as soon as patrons enter the restaurant. The food quality and price were good but the atmosphere regarding the music volume and cleanliness distracts from an otherwise good dinning experience. Management intervention is necessary to keep this establishment at the high quality that is common at Applebee's establishments. read more

My fiancé and I had dinner here last night and our experience was horrible. I ordered a sirloin medium and it came out well done. I sent it back and the waitress came back with another plate stating the kitchen told her she grabbed the wrong plate. I cut the steak it was well done too so I sent it back. I told her if it isn't cooked right this time that's it. Well came back not medium I tasted it and it wasn't good either so I sent it back it the waitress I wanted a refund. By this time I'm really hungry and tired so I decided to order something to go and asked for the manager because I was curious as to why the manager never came to our table. Manager came and just stood next to our table. I asked was he the manager he said yeah I'm like ok no introduction but moving on I asked him did he know I sent my plate back 3 times he said yeah I asked at what point were you going to come to my table. No answer then he said well you ordered the penne pasta I took off your entree because the penne isn't apart of the 2 for $20 deal. I said our tab hasn't been accommodated and the penne pasta is apart of the deal would you like for me to get a menu. He said no he doesn't need the menu he took our check and took off my entree and left. There was never an apology and he was rude and I'm still wondering how is he a manager but doesn't know the menu. We will never eat there again. The customer service sucks big time!!!!! read more

We were near the mall last night and decided to grab dinner, but definitely chose the wrong place. Wish we had read your reviews before wasting our time. Evidently they never got rid of the bad management as the same problems exist. We waited 30 minutes for a table for 2 yet none of those tables (at least 5) had been occupied. When I asked why the long wait when overall there were at least 10-15 empty tables, we were told they were in a shift change and weren't sure what area the new staff would be working! This was at 5:30 when we arrived. Once finally seated we waited a good 10 minutes with no one coming by, then I asked a waitress if she was ours or who was and she said she'd check or wait on us, but never came back. At this point we left. We asked to speak to the manager but she was busy with another problem. First and last time we will stop at this location. Absolutely the worst service I never had. With at least 8 tables open still had to wait at the hostess counter 10 minutes to be seated. Once we finally did get to sit down in a sticky booth, another 15 minutes went by and not so much as an acknowledgement we were in the building! We did however get to enjoy the very over served guy at the bar shouting obscenities to his equally over served friend (I assume) at the opposite end of the bar. The waitress that I can only assume was assigned to our section did get as close as 1 booth away where she stopped, not to take orders but to play games on the little table top thing and chat with the occupants. That was the last straw. We got up, walked past 2 or 3 members of the wait staff and the hostess on the way out. We were thanked for coming and told to have a good day. When we told them we were leaving to go eat that we had never even given a drink order, they didn't even look the least bit concerned. No apologies, no contact with a manager, nothing. read more
