Just a quick tip. I ordered the Cajun steak and shrimp again yesterday. Or at least I thought I did!! Seems that there are 2 dishes with this name. One is just the steak and the other is the steak and shrimp. I did not realise this, and just asked for the steak thinking that i was getting both. Rudest, most disrespectful staff AND management!! My family and I were sat at a booth. We waited for 20+ minutes only to watch people sat after us be waited on, and still we were never even greeted. After being fed up, I asked for a manager. The manager, Jared came to speak with me only to offer no help or so much as an apology. I stood there as the hostess told him she let the server know we were seated, only for him to turn around and tell me she didn't, when I requested the servers name. He adamantly refused to give me corporates number, telling me theres no point as they will just tell me to call him. When I continued to request corporates number, he said he was going to grab it and sent out the assistant GM. Kenny the AGM was apologetic, and offered to seat us again, but still only gave me a business card with the name and number of the GM for that location. Of course I googled it anyway and put in a formal complaint. The only difference I could tell from everyone else and my family is that we were the only African-Americans, not sure if thats why we were treated so poorly but I will be getting to the bottom of it. read more

Visited Applebees for lunch and needed to be out in a hurry. Our server, Theresa, was very helpful in helping us figure out what to order and was able to get us in and out just in time. She was delightful to have as a server! The restaurant was also very clean and the food tasted great. read more

They get a star for how they come out and sing for your birthday, but they did this mid meal so there was melted ice cream waiting after lunch was done. Good old Applebee's, all the familiar stuff are here, everyone is welcoming and polite. The food isn't exactly gourmet either, but you do get what you pay for. I tried the Brewhouse crispy chicken and actually very liked it. Also has a sirloin steak but I can't really say it was of a particularly good meat quality. This place is kind of hit or miss sometimes oaths service is great and sometimes it's not. One time I came here later on and our waitress only came over to take our order and hand us the bill. We had to grab someone else to get us more drinks and when they finally got her she came over with one glass of water and split it between my friend and I. If I could give zero stars I would. My husband and I went tonight at about 9PM. It's a Saturday and we expected it to be busy. When we got there there was quite a few people waiting to be seated so we decided to sit at the bar. I notice there were 3 tables in the bar area that were empty but had been cleaned so we sat at one. A waitress walked by and dead stared at us she walked by. Then the hostess walked over and said "tables are not the bar, you asked to sit at the bar." Well my apologies as when I go to chili's or other Applebee's restaurants the tables inside the bar area are considered the bar and we have never had to wait to be seated when one of them are available. Plus with so many people waiting and 3 tables available I assumed that they didn't want to sit at the bar. Ok, we move to the bar, my mistake. We get to the bar and the female bartender seems a bit overwhelmed and asks what we want. My husband asked what was on tap and she handed him some "craft beer" print out that was on a clear binder sheet, she didn't take the time to tell him what was on tap. She made it seem as if we were inconviencing her evening. My husband and I decided to take our money and go to chili's down the street. We have tried this Applebee's multiple times and every time the staff is rude and service is awful. We are happy to spend our dining $100+ at a place that appreciates us going there. I came her with my lovely boyfriend to have a nice time. But instead I was treated to a night out filled with RACISM and HOMOPHOBAI! My servers name was ROOBIN! I am a huge fan of Applebee's. I came here with a craving for steak and shrimp with a mashed potatoe side. This was my first and last time ever coming to this particular location. I saw my waiter 2 times. Waited 25 minutes for a refil. Then another 15 minutes for my drink to actually be brought to me. By the time I got it I was already asking for the check. I asked for my steak to be medium, they brought it to me very well done. In fact, it was burnt. My mashed potatoes were cold. The Oreos in my dessert were extremely stale and the dessert tasted as if it had been sitting in the fridge for days. I came here happy and excited to eat one of my favorite meals & left extremely disappointed. I will not be coming back to this location. Used to love this franchise location. Tonight I went there with 5 friends for half priced apps. Not only did they run out of lemons, but they refused to allow one of my friends to sit with us unless she ordered something. The other five of us all had ordered meals, not even half priced, but it was a big to do because one of the six wasn't ordering. They told us if she didn't get something she'd have to leave. This Applebee's is not the best. It's very crowded and popular among teenagers, especially the half-price apps at night. This makes service very slow. The waiters and waitresses are always very friendly though. The reason I give this Applebee's 2 stars is because the food is really bad in the evening. I've come here many times and found that the food is okay for lunch but seriously gross for dinner. You can tell they're serving reheated frozen food. It looks and tastes nasty. Loaded nachos are soggy as well as the buffalo wings, cheeseburger sliders are tough and chewy, and their mixed drinks are way too sugary/syrupy. However, many of the customers are teens and young adults who come after smoking, so they don't really care how the food tastes as long as it's hot and preferably greasy and/or cheesy. read more

I love this Applebee's!! I always come for half off apps and I am never disappointed with the food. It is cheap and hits the spot every time. This past time, my waitress was Christine (I think thats her name.. she has blonde hair) and she was so attentive and personable. My boyfriend is highly allergic to cheese and he ordered a hamburger and I was a little nervous that there would be cheese on the burger when it was served to us, but to our delight she did not mess up the order. Everything came out quick and she regularly checked up on us for refills even though it was super busy with highschoolers all over the place. I will be coming back again!! read more

Friend and I just wanted dessert. Got sat immediately and both made trips to the bathroom and still not yet greeted by a server. It was around 3 in the afternoon and the place was not busy. Finally a manager walked by and we asked for our server and he didn't respond very diplomatically. The server ended up coming though, and took our drink orders. The manager came back and gave us our drinks but with no word. We then made our dessert order, which in and of itself was good. But no one ever came back to ask us how we're doing or give us more water. The check came around to 6 dollars so we put a 10 dollar bill down and then waited some more. A lot more. Then she came back saying "Did you want your change?" ...um, that's something you should have asked immediately as you took the 10 dollars from the table, not way later. I said yes, so she said "Oh.." and opened up her order pad and started sorting through past tables' receipts trying to find ours, and then finding the change in bills, and dishing out change from her apron, on our table in front of us. It was unbearably awkward for my friend and I to be watching her take out her money like that literally on the table. I like to tip well. But it kind of confused me that she would take a 4 dollar tip upon herself on a 6 dollar plate without asking after she served us 1 plate of dessert, while the manager did more work for our table than her. read more

Smallest bar ever but still waited 15 minutes to get greeted and a beer.. Along with an attitude. After we ate our queso that came out with a thicker than usual skin layer on top from sitting under the heat lamps, i asked to try a little of a different beer. The other bartender who was originally nicer than the first female bartender, started pouring a pint so i said no i wanted to try.. He clearly got frustrated and copped an attitude. They never asked once how anything was or if we were ok. I bartend so i find myself getting more frustrated than normal because i know the job isn't rocket science. The bar isn't busy. I went last Thursday, November 19. I had this awful rude waitress named Crystal. She said my table if we want anything to drink. We said , " we are still looking." Then she said, " you are looks at a menu for drinks?" I'm like, yes. Then when she came back to take or order for food, my table ordered 5 appetizers for 3 people. She literally laughed at how much we are ordering. She said, " you guys are getting 2 nachos and 2 quesadillas?! I asked for beef on the nachos. She rudely said, that's what brisket is. Then when I asked for guacamole, she said they don't have any. After the meal, I asked for a box because I didn't finish my nachos. She said , what do you need a box for? Obviously for my nachos you idiot! And why is it her business what I need a box for. Avoid Crystal at all costs. She's rude and nasty. She ignored the girls and paid attention to the 1 guy in our group. It was kind of disgusting and unprofessional. Also, Applebee's got very cheap. The nachos were pretty much empty. We went here on a Sunday night for dinner. We were heading towards Sonic on Rte 9 South but made a u-turn when we saw the dark sky and got scared. We should've ignored that fear and kept going towards Sonic! When we got to Applebees, it was almost 9 pm and the place wasn't packed & got seated immediately. My daughter and I decided to order from the Take Two Seasonal menu and ordered from the $10.99 menu. I ordered the 4 oz Blackened Sirloin steak with Green Goddess Salad and she ordered the Garlic Rosemary Chicken Pasta with the salad as well. We both liked the salad. My steak was small and tasted good. Then came my daughter's meal. Her chicken was nice and soft. But the minute she dug into the pasta, she found a piece of metal in her food. EW!!!!! We immediately called our waiter over and he offered to call the manager over. But miscommunication, he thought we didn't want the manager over. Finally, the manager came and we told him of the metal in our daughter's meal. He said the metal was actually from a brush and the chef was cooking and cleaning at the same time! They took the order off the bill. I ended up sharing my dinner with my daughter. She was afraid to eat after that incident. Very disappointed with this place. Not planning on returning here anymore.
