Food like my mom used to make. Ok, this is not a compliment, my mother was a terrible cook. Her idea of "cooking" was reheating prefab food from the frozen food aisle, opening a can and squirting some sauce out of a bottle. I know instant mashed potatoes, banquet fried chicken and the frozen pirogies from the grocery store very well. The food that we were served was cheap, reheated and prefab. I also ordered the "low and slow" brisket sandwich because we saw the smoker going when we went in. I have no idea how it was so dry and flavorless. This restaurant is a hidden gem--especially on weeknights--for a delicious, reasonably priced meal. I ate at the bar, where the bartender was not only skilled but also a great conversationalist. I'm always torn between ordering the pizza or the steak since both are outstanding. I often start with the French onion soup, which is flavorful, brothy, and never overly salty. Last week, I had the strip steak, perfectly seasoned and cooked just right. I'm sure this bar is great during the day but at night it's just straight gross. The bartender is flirting with the men who tried hitting on young girls. The place is scarce and just straight up average service. I genuinely would not recommend coming here later in the evening it's just uncomfortable. Well, let me start with the onion rings were very good. The pizza was very bland and had almost no sauce on it. The muscles marinara on their special list we sent back because they were cold so they promised us a new one and the second one tasted like a reheard heated Version of the first one and the muscles were rubbery tough. First time going and had steak filet mignon, It had such a weird smell and looked old. wine taste like it came out of a box. To top it all off the bathrooms are disgusting!!!! I took pictures of the men's bathroom that showed dry, spit all over the wall in the stall, even the door to exit the stall. Note to The Cabin management...when regular customers make a reservation way in advance for a night to see a band and have dinner, having specified that in the reservation, saving them a table by the band is the right thing to do. The wrong thing to do is make them wait a half hour past their reservation time when the band is already playing and then stick them in another room where they can't even see the band! Then treat us like we were being unreasonable to ask to sit by the band! On top of that, we told you of a special occasion in our party that involved the restaurant history and the manager literally rolled his eyes and shrugged me off, when I asked if they could bring a piece of cake or do SOMETHING to mark the occasion! ignored and never did. Doesn't matter how good the food or entertainment are, when customer service sucks, the whole experience sucks! Ruined an entire evening for 6 people. Shame on you!!! I LOVE the Cabin. Staff was so friendly and accommodating to my dog. They even offered a pup cup TWICE without me asking. Plus the French Dip is so. good. The live music that they have is a perfect ambience too. read more

Went there with some friends for some drinks and live music. The staff was very accommodating. They first seated us by the dining area because we were a group of 6. There was no space in the area where the band was playing. Later, they allowed us to move closer to where the band was as a booth cleared up. They did a great Malibu Bay Breeze for my wife, a gin martini for myself. Later I had two whiskey sours and a coconut mojito for my wife. The band playing (named 9 South) was really awesome. For bites, we had their calamari and the nachos. All were pretty good. We all danced most of the night. I also befriended their saxophone player after their performance. I have been to the cabin 6 or 7 times in the last 2 or 3 years. They get great bands, however their food is not great. We were there Friday night to see The Ruckus (great band). We each had a few beers and ordered nachos. Usually it is the most edible thing in the menu. We have had some stuff that is just gross and Nachos are th best bet there. These nachos are chips with cheese melted in the microwave and chili and some toppings dumped on top. Our nachos had an awful lot of their chili on the , most of the chips were a sodden mess, but the real issue is that both my stomach and my wife's both felt off a couple of hours later and have continued to bother us since. We will never go back there, no matter what. No band is worth having to go to that place. read more

I have to write this review because how bland the food was. We went for St. Patrick Day. We ordered the potato pancake appetizer, corn beef and cabbage dinner and soda bread. The pancakes had no flavor. The dinner was the worst, it literally had no flavor. Everything was boiled in plain water and served plain. They never tried to flavor anything. It was boiled food, I never thought you could screw up a boiled dinner but I was wrong. The soda bread was so over toasted it fell apart when you tried to butter it. We brought a group and we won't be back. I think the Corporate Chef should be more hands on because this was bad, I can't imagine how Moores was. read more

My wife, daughter and I ate there last night (July 27, 2025). We ordered three different things. A large sausage, mushroom and peppers pizza, the brisket platter which came with cornbread, baked beans, sides of bbq sauce and some onion rings as our one side choice and lastly they were able to provide something for my daughter that they used to have on the menu....a bbq chicken breast platter with Mac and cheese and the other first accompaniments from the brisket platter. After waiting 45 minutes from when we sat down I made an inquiry as to when the food would be arriving. The waitress stated that because the pizza is made from scratch that alone takes about 25 minutes. No problem in my book. Then the food arrived. Unfortunately the pizza was cold and surprisingly not good. My daughters chicken was plain and dry. The Mac and cheese was bland. The brisket although flavorful was cold as well. To their credit (which is why I think it deserved a two star rating and not lower) the manager was sincerely apologetic and tried to make things right. They took the chicken and pizza back. Heated up the pizza and tossed the chicken in some bbq sauce while at the same time removing both from the bill (we did not ask for this). In spite of their efforts the food simply wasn't very good. We didn't even mention the brisket to them because at least it tasted good...and the onion rings were crunchy and sweet. Overall In my humble opinion this establishment has to be removed from our rotation simply because it isn't nearly as good as it used to be. A fall from grace for sure. read more

Went here recently with several people. The fried calamari was very much over cooked, it was actually crunchy. The mashed potatoes had a bad taste to them as maybe they were leftover from the previous day. I will say the Oklahoma Onion burger was very good, and the prime rib was pretty big as well as being the most expensive item we purchased on this visit. This restaurant used to be a good place to grab lunch or dinner. It used to have good service. Can't say that any longer. I was so embarrassed taking my son in law there for his birthday. The food was mediocre. My dinner was supposed to come with soup or salad. Our server didn't offer either and I had to remind her twice about it. Went for lunch. Ordered the bbq brisket Mac and cheese. I warned my friend it wasn't gonna be what he thought and he would get sick. ( he has a week stomach). Chicken came out obviously pre frozen stuff like from Costco. No taste at all. And not one spot of oil which was confusing . So dry I couldn't even eat more than a few bites of the skin. She says oh I forgot to tell you they told me again that they have to make them so they won't be ready til tonight. Ok so she offered a baked potato. Which was obviously from the day before and microwaved to heat it. The skin was shrunken and mushy. And frozen butter. I was so disappointed. Wasted 72.00 for lunch. We went there Thursday night for country night after hearing it advertised all day on Thunder 106 country radio station. Drove 20 miles to get there. The band that was there was NOT a country band. They mostly played 80s rock and occasionally played a country song but not well. It was more like karoke country. Food was OK but not something I would go back for. read more

I did ask our waiter who was fantastic Preston B if they could possibly make it and he said absolutely, and when my burger came out, it was delicious. My husband had the mushroom burger and he said that was delicious as well and as always, their burgers are so huge you really can't finish them. The Cabin has has been in this location for quite some time. They have made significant changes since the pandemic to their credit. Years ago I would have called it a dive bar, definitely not so today. The atmosphere is very positive and cheerful. The booths and the bar areas have all been remodeled CDC compliant. The TV's have been updated in both bars. There's also a huge tent in the rear of the premises for outdoor dining, weather permitting. Multiple parking spaces. Solid spot, and I'm not referring to the stout log cabin construction. Able, friendly staff, roadhouse atmosphere, rustic vibe in the air. We started with a fried shrimp dumpling appetizer-but sharing 5 pieces for 2 is always difficult! Anyway, our cheeseburgers were properly char grilled, beefy in flavor (chuck, short rib, sirloin blend), and served on a locally baked Kaiser roll. Pretty decent place. Service was good and price was normal for an American sports bar feel. Drinks were pretty good too and menu get you a lot of options. Typical food like the burgers were good, but the "new advertised slow cook smoked meats" were very disappointing. Dry and overcooked brisket, and pull pork dry and hard. I don't know if it was because they're pack with a bike group and they were understaffed or if the cook still doesn't know how to work with the new a large smokers. We are sorry to say that the the food was very bland with no flavor at all, it was quite disturbing to be eating something without a taste. I was looking at the reviews and they were questionable, personally I had a great time with my friend there. The menu was a bit over priced but what isn't nowadays. The brisket wasn't amazing but it was great, Mac and cheese was delicious along with the pulled pork. The ambiance is ok nothing special so no good or bad with that. But the service though, let me tell you the guy that served us was amazing. He might be the reason I go back. Friendly attitude, outgoing personality, funny, patient, but overall a great guy. Use to go here a lot. First time in about a decade with my wife and two friends. Food was horrible. My French dip, came without the dip and the cheese was congealed. My wife's brisket sandwich had minimal meat and was really a BBQ sauce sandwich. My friends wife had the strawberry salad with chicken. It had ONE, 1, only ONE strawberry sliced thin. My friend had the corned beef sandwich which was about 1/5 the size of a jewish deli corned beef sandwich. The only thing that was good was my steamed veggies. Obviously will never return again.
