Applebees is automatically nasty but Megan made my experience bearable. The rest of the staff however are as incompetent as they come. Dishes aren't the cleanest and food is average at best but it did come out in a timely matter. 20 open tables still with a 30 minute wait (Understaffed I imagine). I wish I could chose a negative number of stars. We attempted to visit on Friday and were told 45 minute when half the restaurant had empty tables. We tried again on Sunday and had a horrible experience. It took 40 minutes after ordering to get our salads and they were delivered by the manager. My wife's steak was half fat and grisaille. When I brought it to the manager's attention, he responded "The steaks already come to us cut. We don't cut steaks ourselves." He did nothing to resolve. I told him that I wanted the receipt so I could give feedback. He walked across the restaurant to a machine that did not print so I was unable to give Applebee's feedback. Never will go to this restaurant again. The NFL Division playoffs were on and the waitress told us that she could not have it changes so we could see the second half. I stopped by on an early Friday evening with family, and, the food was pretty good! For an appetizer, we had spinach artichoke dip. For my entree, I had the mozzarella chicken caprese. It was yummy! The portion was just right, and the calories were low. Take advantage of their nice low calorie menu options, but, keep the sodium content in mind. The service was a bit slow, as there were not many servers. One thing that was confusing was that you can order appetizers on their table device, but, not entrees. Had a below average lunch here today. My friend and I both ordered the Classic Burger with a lettuce wrap instead of a bun. Their idea of a wrap was greasy wilted lettuce not even wrapped around the burger! We ordered a small bowl of soup and both were not hot, more like room temperature. Not that I'm a big Applebee's fan anyways, but it can be an okay option when you are looking for something pretty quick and inexpensive. I also appreciate that they have a 550 calories & under menu, but the overall experience was just disappointing. A lot of the 550 calorie & under options sounded delicious. I went with the filet that came with an "artichoke spread" filled portabella and potatoes. The plate looked very sad when it came out. The steak was slightly overcooked and chewy, and the portabella was just filled with cut up artichokes. Not the same thing as "creamy artichoke spread" as advertised. We sat in a booth next to the window, and I was absolutely freezing. There was definitely a draft. Our waitress was okay, but nobody was especially friendly here. I thought it was just me, but my boyfriend commented on it when the hostess stared at us without saying a word on our way out. + 1 star for the pomegranate lemonade - favorite part of my meal! + 1 star for my boyfriend enjoying his chicken sandwich. read more

This place was terrible tonight. From the time we got there to the time we left. The host, Debo, just stared at us and asked how many upon entrance, took us to our table and didn't say a single word on the way there. The manager, Jarvis, was an extremely nice man, got our drinks for us after we sat there for a few minutes without being helped. He also took our order when he brought the drinks. He was by far the best part of our visit. The server didn't even come to the table until our appetizer came out, nice lady but very inattentive. I won't mention her by name solely for the reason it looked like they were severely understaffed. Food took far longer than it should have based on how many people were in the restaurant, and the fish was dripping grease. A birthday party that was sitting at a table in the bar had cashed out already and the man wanted to buy shots for him and his buddy for his birthday that was a big Fiasco the bartender couldn't ring up just shots for him because he wasn't her table me and that man were talking about it afterward and I had jokingly said to him well I guess they don't want your money but obviously that pissed the manager off because she came out of the kitchen with one of the cooks and was looking at me and my son none of our food tasted right my spinach dip was salty as hell his buffalo wings were too hot to eat there was a hair in his sour cream I made several comments to the staff that I could tell they tampered with my food which seem to just infuriate the staff worse. I do not recommend this restaurant for carry out for your household pets. Let alone for human consumption. I told them as I was leaving that if I got sick I would definitely be suing. The service was terrible it took us over 20 mins to get our drinks, 30 minutes to get our salads and almost an hour to get our food! Then on top of all that the food tasted disgusting and I got food poisoning from I think the ranch dressing! I've narrowed it down to the ranch cause I'm the only one who got sick from our group and I'm the only one who had ranch! Just what I needed was to be 6 months pregnant and get food poisoning!!! My experience at this location was unsatisfactory. My date and I arrived around 5pm during a dinner rush. We sat down and ordered our dinner and waited nearly an hour before our food arrived. To make things worse, the pasta was undercooked and we had to send it back. The only good thing about our dinner was the server, who apologized profusely for the wait and our undercooked pasta. This was my first time using the To Go service, & I was very happy with Alex, who came out to my car when I was ready to go in & order! Very sweet, & very patient with my 2 kids & I. Totally my fault, I was in a hurry to get my kids home, they were hungry & my 2 yr old was gearing up for a temper tantrum. I called & was told they'll credit my debit card, or I can come back another time. I went back the next day. It was a long wait again, just for the small brownie, a tiny cup of chocolate sauce, & a tiny cup of ice cream. 2 days in a row, & a freakishly long wait for the To Go door. 2 weeks later, I go back with my kids & a friend, & we dine in this time. Service was faster, & my only complaint is there was too much seasoning on my potatoes & veggies. I had the Citrus Lime Sirloin & it was YUMMY! Even with the extra seasoning. My appetizer was the Spinach & Artichoke Dip, with tortilla chips. SO GOOD!! And I don't like artichoke's, so that's saying something! Oh, & tips are encouraged for the To Go service. They still wait on you, & answer your questions, just like if you were sitting down to eat. Alex kept putting pressure on them to hurry in the kitchen, & in the end, he went & put everything in the bags himself, & brought it out to me. I go to Applebees for their steaks. They are always delicious and cooked just right. My complaint is that they don't have baked potatoes for lunch. They should have them for lunch. Instead, they carry a garlic mish-mosh potato mix that isn't very appetizing. Dessert is always good. I like the small shooters. The door greeter, I can't remember his name, is always friendly and fun. They recently remodeled this restaurant, although I can't figure out why. It looked better before the remodel. I used to like this Applebee's but it's gone way downhill. The steaks used to be delicious, but now they are cooked poorly and taste barely edible to eat. The music is too loud and of poor taste. Also, they barely use the air-conditioning. They want everyone to suffer in the heat. Shame on the management for being cheapskates. The one good thing I can say is that my server tried her best to do a good job. If she didn't do a good job, I wouldn't have left her a tip. She earned her 15%.
