This was the most ridiculous thing I've ever experienced. My bill was $35 for it to go order. I asked for blue cheese of course they did not put that in the bag. Too little piece of celery. That'll totally cost almost 7 dollars. I asked for the wings to be tossed and the shrimp to be tossed in medium. Everything was plain barely any sauce at all. The wings were so tiny that they were absolutely ridiculous and the shrimp was nothing but breading and no shrimp. Hooters is gone way way way down. No wonder why the place was completely dead. I am so sad for them. I will never go in there again. It's disgusting. My boyfriend wouldn't even eat it. Last night I was reminded why I rarely choose to eat out anymore. $25 for 20 wings, ok...but they're about the tiniest little wings you've ever seen, and literally the first one has a giant human hair fully cooked in to the sauce and breading. The food is pretty standard. It was good. The server we had, Madison was great. She was quick polite, attentive friendly and listened to us and got our order right. She checked on us multiple times to make sure everything was good. The atmosphere is typically hooters. The managers and I saw at least three. Never left the kitchen or came out from behind the bar. They never greeted anyone or asked any table how things were. My opinion is fire them and make Madison a manager. read more

My wife and I stopped at this Hooters for lunch on our way to Chicago. Ok, we didn't just stop in, we actually did a Google search ("Ok, Google, navigate me to the nearest Hooters") and ended up here for lunch. The first thing we noticed when we pulled in the parking lot was two people standing outside with a yellow banner. Some kind of picketing going on, but some of the most docile picketing I've ever seen (read: completely ineffective). No matter, it won't stop us from going in to get lunch. Once inside we noticed the appearance. I've been told that Hooters is doing a lot of updating and remodeling to a lot of their locations, but this is the first one we've been in that had been through the process. New tables and chairs (the high-top chairs have backs on them now instead of being just wooden stools), not so much of a "bare wood" aesthetic, and brighter colored walls greeted us. I was impressed and I like the updates! We were taken to our table and soon our server (Cassandra) came to greet us. Cassandra was great and very attentive (we drink A LOT of iced tea), and hung around to chat a bit. We told her about some of the other Hooters locations we'd been to, and she told us about the "picketers" out front. Apparently some local union was upset because Hooters used non-Union contractors to do the update. Big deal. I don't fall in with the union way of thinking so that kind of thing doesn't carry a lot of weight with me. As long as you're not in my way, I don't care what you're picketing about. I tried the New Orleans shrimp. It had a distinctly gumbo flavor to it and was pretty good, but the balance of the amount of shrimp you get to the four very large pieces of garlic bread left you wanting for more shrimp. Then again, for less than $10, how much shrimp can one realistically expect? All in all it was a good visit, and I really liked the updated facility. Cassandra was GREAT, the food reliable, and the atmosphere was exactly what you expect from Hooters - casual with a sports theme. If we're in the area again, it's a place I'd definitely visit. read more

It didn't take long for our waitress to come and get our drink order. My wife had the unsweet iced tea, and I had the tall Leinenkugel's Summer Shandy. What a great beer. Our drinks came quick. We placed our meal order. My wife had the Traditional Wings Hot. I had the Traditional Wings 911. To share we got the Fried Pickles for an appetizer and we also got with our meal a split order of the Buffalo Shrimp. The shrimp come in an order of 12 pieces. Her half she got hot, my half I got the Triple Dog Dare sauce. The TDD sauce is made with the Ghost Pepper and finally, a Ghost Pepper sauce that actually makes my eyes water. I love this sauce on the shrimp. It's smokin hot and is kind of sweet, but it's fantastic! I tried the TDD sauce on my wings, but I didn't care for the sweetness on the wings, so until they come up with a Ghost Pepper sauce that's not so sweet for the wings I'll stick to the 911 sauce. Came here today for lunch. The menu did not have any prices on it which I think is absolutely ridiculous. So I get to see the price at the end??? They need to learn how to wipe down the menus. They were sticky and gross. The rap music allowed to be played in the kitchen drowned out what Hooters had playing for the customers. I'm not sure how management allows this. I love Hooters franchise and am a frequent visitor of Illinois Hooters, however, this IN location does not belong to carry such great name. The food is worse than a gas station tuna sandwich. I've been coming here for about 25 years or however long they have been open. I moved away 10 years ago but figured it was time I stopped in again since it's been a year or so. This place did not disappoint. The beer selection was great with about 30 selections on draft. Wing were delish, food hot and the girls were smoking hot as usual. When your done scarfing down some burgers or wings, be sure to get a chocolate cake or cheesecake and if your not hungry, get it to go. You'll thank me later. Enjoy! read more
