Yes the score is low currently but I needed a place to watch the NCAA tournament game as I drove thru town. People were friendly and no wait to get seated and order taken. Quesadilla Burger was made well and tasty and hot. Cole slaw was prepared well but I could not tell of it was made at store or packaged, still tasted okay. Brewed tea was good. Manager stopped and checked on me which is always a nice thing too. Overall I would stop again. If you need a decent meal it was good to go for the standard Applebees fare and atmosphere. Terrible service. Waitress took forever to bring drinks after ordering, and took forever to even take the order for the drinks. The place seems dark and dirty. Half the food we tried to oder was not available. She even messed up the order on our food. Came for lunch as I really wanted French Onion soup and the Fish & Chips. Was seated immediately upon arrival but after waiting for fifteen minutes my friend and I left as we were never waited on. We had a great server and he was very attentive. Not a long wait for the meal. My husband wanted "fall off the bone " ribs, and he asked the server if they would be, and the server was honest in saying they would not be but still my husband said they tasted good. Results of shortcuts are showing. Food quality and bar drinks are on a steady decline. Each time we go, we say "never again" but your open late. However, every time we do go we notice, at all hours, there are less and less customers. There's a reason for that. Don't stop cheating your customers on our account... Do it for your selves before you go out of business. Some examples... I order alcohol at most restaurants. The drink quality is so poor that you can't tell what mixed drink your drinking. I will say it's hard to screw up a beer. Sour mix spoils and is a great deterrent for ordering another. Food which is the main drive is also an issue. Ultra hot plates with food that is cool in the middle usually means it's been sitting in the window. That makes since because from my personally experience our wait averages 30+ minutes after we order. Strange since the place is never "hopping" with customers. I say these things not to be rude. Went in last night with a party of 10. We were waiting over 30 minutes and our drinks hadn't showed up. When somebody in our party finally flagged down a manager to ask about how much longer it would be he was extremely rude and claimed they were short staffed. Took our drink and food order at same time since we were ready to order by then. Sunday afternoon, about 40% full. I witnessed a waitress carrying food to a table kick a lime from a drink from under another table and tell the hostess to pick it up as she walked by. The hostess embarrassingly complied and it was extremely awkward for everyone. Drinks came out quickly and the food about 10min after that. I had the whiskey burger which was pretty good for a chain burger. The fireball whiskey barbecue sauce had a slight sweet taste to it that paired well with the crunchy bacon and pickles. It appears either Applebee's has changed their menu drastically or that Alabama beats to its own drum. There were a few meals that I wish they had kept but I decided to try my luck with the 3for appetizers. I chose the sweet potato fries, Kobe meatballs and srarachi shrimp or something like that. The shrimp were a bit small and the flavor was ok, the Kobe meatballs were enjoyable and the bread with it nice and fresh and the sweet potato fries were by far my favorite. The sweet dipping sauce was like desert. I finished it off with brownie bite. All in all delicious. The setting was typical of Applebee's and clean. The staff attentive and friendly. I find it strange that almost every Applebee's my husband and I go to has a average of a two star rating, almost always. And almost always we still end up going to it. This one was pretty decent to say at the least. We waited a little bit before getting seated because there was a large group in front of us and our waitress took awhile to get to use even though it wasn't very busy, we got here around 10:15ish. Strawberry lemonade was delicious as usual and the three cheese chicken penne was perfect! My husband got appetizers and loved them. I love this place! Bree, the bartender I see most often is amazing. She makes all of my drinks quickly and they taste delicious! Highly recommend her if she is here. Have not been to one in quite a while. Not one to complain but here we go: 58 degrees outside and the AC is on full blast. I'm talking you could hang meat. This is actually a first for me... I literally walked in the Applebees in Ozark, and watched the hostess turn away customers and walk off. There were about 4 families waiting when I walked in at about 730 on Friday the 24th of February. There was no employees around, and the people waiting were complaint about no one even coming up to the front. One family left because they were tired of waiting to even have the opportunity to get their name taken down. Once the hostess did approach the front she nonchalantly said "it's probably going to be longer than expected", and then just started walking away. After all that time waiting she didn't even acknowledge the people waiting. I asked if she was going to at least take the names down. To which she rolled her eyes and said she guessed she could. At this point everyone waiting left. As more people were trying to come in the families leave turned the other customers away and told them Applebees wasn't interested in their business. Look I get it, it's one of four restaurants in the whole city, so we are all expecting to wait. If anyone, I mean anyone would have come up front and just explained what was going on and apologized there would have been no issue.... just don't waste your time coming here make the 20 minute drive to Enterprise. read more

I ordered the classic burger and fries and the fries were over seasoned and the burger ( one of my favorite things to eat at any restaurant) was bland and flavorless.
