This place is a real gem if you enjoy really good Southern cooking. The service is as friendly as a small-town restaurant can be and the food is delicious. Regulars are greeted warmly and there is the general ambience of a family dinner. The restaurant is clean and comfortable and the wait, if there is one, is usually short. I often order the chicken-fried chicken and my husband varies his choices. On our last visit, he had the pork chop, as did my stepmom. We all loved our meals, especially the fresh vegetables. Their lima beans (or butter beans, if you're a true Southerner) are a must-have! We try to stop here on most of our trips down to P.C. It's such a dependable good meal!

The mashed potatoes are really good and the broccolini was perfectly cooked for my liking. I would definitely order it again. My husband's ribeye was cooked perfectly to that medium , well temp. His potatoes were good but his brussels sprouts were a slight disappointment. They basically had no seasoning whatsoever and tasted like mush. It would've been better have they boil them and then put them into a cast iron for a little bit to get a little bit of crisp on them.
