Went in for happy hour with some coworkers. There was a couple waiting to be seated in front of me when I came in. A couple of employees were standing there and after a couple of minutes sat the couple. I was then finally greeted by the host once they figured out I was not with the couple they just sat. This wasn't my first time at this location. The service and food is always mediocre. I joined our group after a couple of people had already been seated. The server came by the table to drop off one of the drinks that was ordered and told me I had to wait to order my drink instead of asking what I would like. She also ordered the wrong apps for us, and never brought the water that was ordered. Otherwise the service was not as bad as it usually is here. The food is always just ok. Anything other than appetizers (and even sometimes those) is always overcooked and dry. read more

My kids and grandkids had to walk out due to terrible customer service. Specifically asked not to be seated in a certain area due to observed attitude and demeanor or a server. No name tag but hearts tattoos on face. Only for them to be seated serviced by other servers for the young lady with the attitude to bring water dump it all over the table walk away laughing. We waited and waited but we had to leave because nobody ever came to our table. And this was not a busy night. The section we were seated in was empty. I can't even tell you how many years I've loved this Applebees in Pinole! Well that changed yesterday on my Daughters HS graduation. First time back in Years, but we went in with a party of 7 around 1230pm and the service was a struggle! My sister ordered the endless ( ribs shrimp and tenders w fries). She received the entire meal only 3 ribs/fries! We tried to get our waitress attn a few times, good grief it was hard in an almost empty place. She literally was avoiding the table. When we finally did request the "second" plate ( they literally bring you 1 at a time ) it never came. At that point, everyone was pretty much finishing up so she requested the Mgr. which was nice and said she'd put in the order. My sister asked for it to go instead because waiting over 20 min for an endless meal which she didn't even receive a 3rd of it was ridiculous and we already paid on the machine. My ribs were hard with entirely too much bbq sauce, my daughter's fish & chips were soggy (not sure why) and yea we're done here after many years. Our waitress never thanked us, barely came to the table and it just wasn't giving Celebration! They need to close and open up a good Restaurant because that location is popular. read more

We had to switch our meal a few times because it was either undercooked,burned,or cold the only thing tasty were the drinks , tacos were ok the only thing that wasn't bad food wise was the bread. I haven't been to an Applebee's in while and I have to say it hasn't changed. I always liked that it has it own private parking lot so you're not driving around looking for parking when you're hungry :). There's nothing dance about Applebees come as you are, you know casual, comfortable but not in your PJ's haha. They serve the typical pasta, burger, chicken and other grilled items. And of course they have fun drinks and draft beers. The food was ok. We had a party of ten so we ordered a few appetizers. By the time my food came I was sort of full. Food took long and it was serve warm not hot. Ambiance was bleh...it does have a bar vibe like the advertisement but they need some renovation or maybe an upgrade here and there. Went to Applebees with the family and ordered the all you can eat wings. This Applebees has never been associated with quick service. However, this time was just ridiculous. It took what felt like 30 minutes just to get the first order of wings. Once it was out we ordered the second order right away and that was another 30 minutes. The first order of wings were dry as if they had been sitting around under a heat lamp and the sauce dried. The subsequent orders weren't much better. So my sons wanted to come in for the All You Can Eat Boneless Wings, Riblets & Shrimp Served with unlimited fries we get in about 8:30 pm and were seated pretty quickly. My sons and husband ordered the all you can eat. The drinks came out pretty quickly however it took about 45 minutes to get their food. My food came out a little sooner. I noticed the table next to us where some of the people had ordered the all you can eat had extremely slow service as well. The people that ordered other food got theirs sooner. When they asked for the next round of food that took a long time too and came as a smaller portion on a small plate. If you are planning on ordering this plan to be here for a while because they will take their time giving you food probably in hopes you don't eat too much. First of all we had to wait in front no one acknowledged us for 15 to 20 mins. I had to go get someone to sit us. Second once we got there seated took a while to get a waitress. She was nice we got food before we got silverware. So we couldn't eat until the server brought back silverware. It took a while to get food. When the food came food was subpar. I haven't been there in years. Now I came today and seen why it has been a while. I will never come back. I was very dissatisfied. They do, but they cannot play the game sound due to some "licensing" agreement. Huh? It's on regular TV. Whatever. So lesson learned, if you want the "playoff experience", this ain't it. I had a terrible experience at Pinole Applebee's last night. We were a party of 2 and entered following another party of 2 who were quickly seated. We waited and were told by a waiter that we would be seated shortly. Then a party of 4 came in after us. When the hostess returned she asked their name. They quickly said that our group was there first. The hostess then looked at me and said flatly that she knew we were there first. I smiled and said ok. After about a minute I asked if we could sit at any of the many empty tables and booths that were available. She told me to wait and went to talk with two other staff for a few minutes. She returned with a nasty look on her face and led us to a booth.I thanked her and smiled. While we were walking to the booth, she continued to stare at me with a glaring face. I smiled and followed. When we go to the booth and sat down she continued to shoot me dirty looks. Fearing that she would tamper with our food we left. It's been more than 5 years since I've been to this Applebee's and I do remember the menu having a wider selection of items. I'm assuming due to staffing shortages, etc. a smaller menu is more doable. We came during Happy Hour, which is from 3-6pm I believe, and you got drinks ranging from $3-$5 and half priced appetizers. Spinach Artichoke dip and chips: 5/5 Mozzarella sticks and marina: 4/5 Chicken Won ton tacos: 2/5 (the chicken sauce is tangy, and not my favorite) Side Caesar salad and the Tex Mex salad: was great to balance all the fried foods! We wanted to try the Pot O' Gold pina colada, but we were informed they were out so we had the Tipsy Leprechaun which was delicious! It did taste like very little alcohol was put into it, but I honestly didn't mind. It was a nice sweet cocktail.
