Went out to eat after my nephews football game, only to be severely let down. We ordered drinks, appetizers and entrees. Upon arrival of the appetizers, you could tell that the wings had been sitting under the heat lamp for some time as they came out somewhat dry. We were all hungry and had already been waiting a while (1 hour) so we dug in. We waited another 30 mins and entrees began to arrive. 2 of us ordered steaks that came with mashed potatoes and broccoli. We were brought 1 steak with fries and broccoli. Our server walked away after dropping it off. When we asked our server, Oscar, about the mashed potatoes he said "oh maybe they ran out or something I don't know". We politely asked if he could double check with the kitchen if they would be able to make more or if they were completely out and also if he could bring A1 steak sauce. He went and brought out other entrees, the A1 and let us know that they are making more mashed potatoes. He then asked if we had everything we needed and I let him know I was still missing my steak. He asked if I was sure and I reminded him of my order. He left and came back with my plate. I asked if it was the medium rare steak and he said yes. He walked away and I cut into a well done steak that looked more like a burger patty.. when we came back around another time I showed him the steak (at this point everyone is pretty much done eating). He said something along the lines of "yeah that's not medium rare I don't know". I let him know I wouldn't be needing it remade and I wouldn't be eating it and asked that he just take that and an untouched salad. I was about to hand him the plates and he said to leave them at the table. He left, I seen him talk to the manager, Felipe. (we had met when he was assisting other tables for Oscar's area) Felipe came over and when I repeated the same thing and showed him the inside of the cut steak he looked at me so confused like he could not understand why I was sending it back and he seemed annoyed. We finally get seated and waiting another 5 min to get a server to come to the table we had already decided what we wanted for food and drinks this was our order Daughter: grilled chicken breast with a Pepsi Son: chicken Alfredo with broccoli and a Pepsi Wife: cheeseburger wonton tacos no spicy sauce and a Pepsi Me: chicken quesadillas with extra chicken and a side of onion rings for the drink I ordered an alcoholic beverage. Server comes back the all the drinks except my beverage. I said okay maybe they are working on it so I gave them some time. The bartender had 9 people at the bar which other bartender had already served them their drinks. So this other girl took over and she was making the drinks after what I thought took 10 min now I was waiting over 30 min to get my drink by this time food came out my wife's wontons tacos were dry nothing like how the picture showed. My quesadilla had no extra chicken whatsoever it was mostly cheese being a person that can't have that much cheese I assumed that adding more chicken would balance out the cheese but I was wrong. I only had 2 slices of the quesadilla before saying I can't anymore my stomach was hurting at that point. The server had only come twice to check up on us finally I said I'm sorry but there is no extra chicken in this quesadilla and also my drink is still not here cancel my drink I don't want it anymore since I'm done eating and also the quesadilla had more cheese than chicken sorry but I can't eat that much cheese that's why I requested extra chicken. Again not the servers fault since I did not tell her. My wife was finally done eating her dry tacos and was still hungry I was still hungry but dared not to order anything else from this place. My son said his food was good and my daughter said the chicken had to much pepper after trying her chicken sorry TMI but I spit that out so quickly and asked my wife for some of her drink. The chicken tasted like fish it smelled weird. My daughter stopped eating as-well since her stomach started to hurt. Server finally comes back and says I took that off your bill. I assumed it would be my meal only since again I only ate 2 slices of the quesadilla and my drink never arrived. No she only took the drink off I still paid full price for my extra chicken quesadilla. I did not want to make my family wait to talk to someone about this so I paid and did not even take leftovers. My wife decided to take chicken wonton tacos home. Since she did not wanted to eat there anymore I said okay total for my bill was $85 dollars. Now for the moment of truth is this place Dendinger approved???? WITH CAPITAL LETTERS I WILL SAY DEFINITELY NOT WORTH COMING HERE. UPDATE 6/19: Came here with my wife for the drink of the month because I really wanted the cute "Pool" cup out comes in. Found out they charge a $1 for you to keep it. We sat at the bar and was met by Carmen and Alejandra. They both were very pleasant. Carmen was our main waitress and she was beyond accommodating with all of our requests. She smiled through it all. My issue was with my food. I ordered a broccoli and chicken Alfredo. My wife order the bourbon chicken and shrimp. I requested my broccoli on the side and extra alfredo sauce. We waited a good amount of time for our food after our appetizer. My wife's food was nice and hot. All my food was between lukewarm and cold. I had to send it back. When it came out the 2nd time, way after my wife finished her meal, it was steaming hot. That's the way it should have been the 1st time around. Honestly it was not even packed when we placed our order. My entree was comp'd. I sent my food back three times due to it not being made as I requested. The first 2 times, it was the steak dinner. That was the worst experience at an Applebees ever. Our service was slow, the food was cold, and the wait for our food wasn't even worth it. We asked twice for a side of ranch for my nephews fries and never got it. The restaurant wasn't busy, so the timing of this all didn't make sense to me. By the time we got our food, I just asked for some boxes to take it and that even took 15 minutes. The food... we asked for a kids Mac and cheese. It was served on a big plate, cold, and no spoon to eat it with. Asked for a spoon... never got one. After waiting, when we did get our food, the chicken parm fettuccine looks sad and miserable. The mushroom burger was small and meant to put in a to go box. If it isn't busy, and we know what we are ordering, the service should've been decent. To top this off, I like to tip, but if I could've, I wouldn't have. My server came to give me my bill, and was standing by my shoulder where the tip is 18% minimum or if I wanted to do custom. And this most recent visit, I asked for 2 beef patties! It may very well be my favorite burger (at least outside of Shake Shack). The juicy beef, melty cheese, grilled onions and sautéed mushrooms... yep, totally calling me! And I always ask for onion rings instead of fries and they're always golden, crispy and delicious! Two stars is generous. EXTREMELY generous. I ate there with my family (Mother, father, me & my sibling.) The waiter was rude, and very obviously did NOT want to work there. We were seated immediately which gave us hope after having bad experiences at this location prior to this certain trip. My mom's food came raw, she ordered some sort of chicken dish. I would never recommend this place to anyone. The staff is dishonest and thieves. I placed an online order for Carside to go. When I arrived I called the number to let them know I was there and give the space number for them to deliver my food to me. The phone rang but instead of someone answering I was hung up on. I hesitantly went inside, what's the point of carside if I still have to go "inside." When I arrived the hostess didn't greet me instead she was conversing with her coworker and rummaging through her purse. After waiting a few minutes someone else approached and asked if I had a to go order to which I replied yes. Instead of then asking my name and retrieving my food this person said nothing. I then volunteered my name and she went to the back to tell someone to bring it out. Three people at this point were directly in front of me but none retrieved my to go order. Growing increasingly frustrated I was then approached by a male staff member who delivered my food. I said thank you and left as quickly as possible. I made a right out of the immediate parking lot but was still in the vicinity when my headphones disconnected from my phone which let me know I left my phone. 1-2 mins tops. I was literally on the side of the building, I reversed and drove back into the parking lot. Upon entering the building, the hostess who had been rummaging through her phone was at the carside door entrance. I asked her if I left my phone to which she responded "no." I then questioned the remaining staff who began to accumulate as if it were some spectacle. I noticed the young man who had previously delivered my food standing in the doorway, I asked if he'd noticed my phone to which he said "no." I would like to add, my phone had immediately reconnected to my headphones when I re-entered the building and my friend was STILL on the phone. My friend heard someone say "she left her phone" when it originally disconnected and then overheard me questioning if someone had seen my phone when I returned to the building before the call was disconnected by a staff member. It was only after another employee observed the commotion came over to see what was going on and confirmed that I had in fact left my phone and that the manager should have it. At that point the employee who had originally delivered my to go order to me, who had previously told me "no" my phone wasn't left behind, went to retrieve my phone. After searching my wallet to assure everything was there I noticed they had already rummaged through my belongings. I demanded to have the general managers number to which a woman approached and said she was the general manager, I then demanded her card, as well as the number to corporate. I will absolutely be filing a complaint. Imagine the general manager being in the store and the staff still being lying thieves. I am grateful for the ONE honest employee. read more

I came in around 9:30 PM on my birthday just trying to order a quick meal for myself and a sick friend waiting in the car. It wasn't even packed, but the service was an absolute joke. The waitress told me to order at the bar. After waiting 20 minutes just to get her attention again, she took my order without writing anything down, walked away, and completely disappeared for the night. Everything could improve, in answer to the above question. My last three visits here have been an absolute letdown. We have given them their last try. I don't know if it is just this location, but everything about this place majorly sucks. I was inspired to write this review because as I watch Survivor 50, I wonder if I have to travel to Fiji to get food from this restaurant that actually looks appetizing. Our last visit, this past Saturday after throwing our kids a Super Mario Galaxy Movie premier party, we were greeted with rude hostesses, sat across from open booths at a table with uncomfortable chairs, and received nasty looking food that I literally questioned with the waiter when it was brought to our table. My 8 year old was just hungry after a long party so he went for it. My husband and I decided to just get a beer and a shot; even those were bad. How in the world do they make bottled Corona taste differently from all other Corona I've had in my life? It does come to the table already open, so maybe they're pouring it out and replacing it with their own Applebees mix like they have for all of their other drinks. The shots, I mean tablespoons, of tequila were possibly their own liquor mix instead of just plain booze, and they were definitely wanting. My husband and son ordered the 2 main entrees for 25.00. Our appetizers came before our drink and silverware. We asked for water we never received and waited 20 min for our silverware. When our main course came we still didn't have silverware and had to ask them to reheat our appetizers due to us having nothing to eat them with. When we received our appetizers it was wrong and when we received our main course my husband didn't even get 1 of his orders. We received our cocktails toward the end of the meal. I asked for the manager to take off 25$ since our orders were wrong from the beginning and our food was served with no silverware and manager only gave 15$ off. The food portions were much smaller than at other Applebee's locations I've visited. I wouldn't recommend this place at all. The waiter was very nice and transparent, and he explained that they had reduced portion sizes due to rising costs. This was the worst restaurant service my family and I ever experienced. First they said we would be seated in 10-15 minutes but it turned out to be 40 minutes and to top it off they seated another group first when it was really our turn just because they said our table wasn't ready yet. It' seemed like they seated them first because that group was the same race as them because they were speaking in their language with the host. Also they brought my food and my kids food out but they forgot about my husband's food and they didn't bring it out till we were almost done. Unless you are getting appetizers for happy hour I feel like the outcome of every meal here is that it looked better than it tasted. No shade, just tea. Happy hour and the two-for deals can make for a good place to gather in good company but if there's a wait I can't find the heart to say that the wait is worth it. Also if there's a wait that means that staff will likely be stretched thin and they're much friendlier when it's slow.
