I'm a long time fan of Applebee's, and this location is the nicest I've been too. Inviting contemporary and clean atmosphere. One of the newer ones.Each time we've been there everything has been flawless. The servers are friendly and efficient, updated menu with new additions. Recently, we had a delivery and it was so unlike our Applebee's. If you didn't know they have delicious, tender baby back ribs...Yum! However don't know what happened this time, the ribs were so tough, we could barely get our knifes through, and only ate two each, and had to pitched them. But the good news is the manager, Liz came to the rescue, as soon as she heard my complaint. She kindly urged us to come back and would fully replace our meals. Once there she was so lovely and sincerely apologized. Our server, Jordan, also did not disappoint. We switched up from our many usuals and was delighted . Jordan recommended their new salad, Strawberry Balsamic Chicken Salad, and it's my new favorite. Fabulous combination of flavors, and DELICIOUS . My son also selected a new dish, Lemon Parmesan Chicken, and it's a new favorite too. Liz, is an outstanding manager, frequently checking in on us, and was extremely kind and professional. She has taken the initiative to be titled "Attitude Adjustment Manager", and is a perfect title. Don't hesitate to check it out. It's a new, improved Applebee's, with all the old favorites and seemingly adding new additions and updating their menu. And it's such a contemporary, beautiful atmosphere. Called this place before heading there to ask about their wait time. Lady who answered the phone said there was no wait time and asked if we would be coming, i was there in less than 5 minutes and then proceeded to stand at the door with my family for 10 minutes where the sign stated to wait to be seated. No one even acknowledged us. The restaurant was pretty empty. I would have been fine with waiting if they had greeted and asked for me to wait longer to be seated. While I waited i asked for another party that was already seated calling for the server who passive aggressively responded that she was their server and would be right with them. I usually love local Applebees in my zone. But this one majorly dropped the ball. My first clue was when the bar was completely dead during lunch. The one near me is always slammed. The bartender mentioned a new watermelon marg, which I enjoyed. I also enjoyed the sweet and spicy grilled chicken. But that is where the good points end. The bartender hardly came around, and when she did, she would push some charity for a lemonade stand. I donate only to charities I know personally. When I asked to cash out, she asked If I was going to donate. I responded not today. Instead of cashing me out, she walked off. How rude! I had to flag her down and remind her I was ready to check out. There is no quicker way to run off customers than pushing unknown charities and acting rude when they decline.I don't see ever returning to this location. Took mom out for a quick lunch to this fun restaurant. One of the few in the area in which you can have a reasonable conversation with out booming music and people attempting talking over the sound! At least at lunch anyway. Tons of TVs and usual Applebees decor. I had the oriental chicken salad lunch version , mom had the basal tomato soup (she loved it) and my wife had the cheese burger well done and liked it very much. Host seemed super annoyed we were there and upset that I asked for a high chair for our baby, made a big deal about the high chair being in a 'high traffic' area and that she would need to push it in so we said okay no problem! For whatever reason the manager comes out to tell us the same thing. We made no fuss about it, but okay? No probs we understand! So move us and put us in an area that's high chair friendly? We have considered Applebee's a consistent standby restaurant. We have been disappointed with the past 2 visits. We gave it a second try just because we wanted it to be a bad night but visit 2 was as bad as visit 1. 1. Music was deafeningly loud. 2. Meal took over 30 minutes to get to our table. Once we stepped in to Applebees's we were greeted by the hostess and he went to get our table ready, totally different from Dennys. I was there Saturday for lunch and it was a complete and total shit show. They were not that busy but yet wait staff had a hard time keeping up with the tables that they did have. There was no one there except us and two other Families with more servers. We ordered drinks and my margarita was handed to me with a martini glass and a shaker and she walked away. Then our Dinners arrive, instant mashed potatoes, no seasonings or butter, the vegetable was old cause you could see it was brown and the steak and shrimp had no seasoning. As an Applebee's it's an overall average. I had the cedar salmon with fire grilled veggies and garlic mashed potatoes. The salmon had that tasty grill flavor but lacked seasoning. Next time I'll ask for lime! The veggies fell way short. Some were nicely grilled and others were completely hard like they've never been cooked. Add on the fact they had no seasoning at all. No salt or pepper even. The potatoes were a solid side. These are consistent no matter what Applebee's you go to. I love them. For dessert I had the brownie bite as It was just me. We are traveling and it was late so we decided to eat at Applebees. Great decision o had their salmon with green beans and mashed potatoes and all three were very good!
