I'm going to start off. I've been going to Applebee's for years. One thing that has been consistent is it's never consistent. This includes service, cleanliness, and friendliness of staff. Traditionally an Applebee's it always appears that it has a dirty feeling about it. This includes the bathrooms, the seating area as well as the outside patio. The staff is genuinely not pleasant and spend more time talking to each other or people that they may know or come in all the time. The food is an average portion, sometimes I feel it's not hot enough or kept warm enough before they serve it. For the cost, it would be average for what you're getting. Typically Applebee's draws usually a little bit more of a rougher crowd as well. They definitely are a hangout place. Ranking: out of 10 Ambiance- 2 Service- 2 Cleanliness- 1 Friendliness- 2 Cost- 3 I would say Applebee should follow their own slogan "eating good in the neighborhood". I think the food would be better if it was more consistent and a bigger portion.

I haven't been to this location in years but I see it's still the same. The food was great we made it there just before happy hour was over. Although I messed up I thought I was getting one of my items on the happy hour special but didn't realize that until I got my check. I wish our waitress had've brought that to my attention by saying hey do you realize that those are not on the special cause I was debating between the happy hour specials and the appetizer combo. Which would've came out a lot cheaper than what I had originally ordered. But regardless, I had a great time the waitress was great the food was good. So it was a great Friday evening. Oh I also ordered the nachos with spinach dip. They give you such a large amount of chips that I was even able to finish them or the wings. We had to get to go trays.

I got the Classic Broccoli Chicken Alfredo. The chicken was the only thing i really didn't like (that's only bc i'm a texture type of person) but the noodles, sauce and broccoli is what made this dish really good. Overall it was pretty good experience I have no complaints when it came to the service.

Decent food. Good service and pleasant staff. Wait time for food was about 40 minutes. Good thing we had ordered the onion rings to fill us before our meal.

I went in for the pho and bánh mì, and both delivered. The pho broth was the star--deep, rich flavor without being overly salty, and you can tell it wasn't rushed. The pork bánh mì had everything you want: a crusty roll, tender seasoned pork, crisp pickled vegetables, and fresh herbs that brought it all together. What really surprised me was how well they pull off the combination of neighborhood sports bar and authentic Vietnamese restaurant. It's casual, welcoming, and feels like one of those places locals are going to keep recommending to friends. If you're anywhere near Midlothian, put this on your list. The pho alone is worth the trip, and the bánh mì seals the deal.

Although the servers are great people. They are often understaffed. The first time I went here was with my child hood tennis coach upon coming back to Richmond. When I saw sports bar, I thought we were about to have a day. I was ready for it, but after he ordered a coke, I knew this food was about to be pretty good. I didn't really order food because I was ready to party. I then went with my girlfriend and we got the spring rolls and chicken Verecialli. I realize the spelling is wrong but autocorrect won't help me out on this one. With her being half Asian and looking closer to 75 percent Asian, that should be a bigger testament to this review. She loves this place! I order it to go frequently and usually have no idea what in the hell I'm ordering, but I know this shit is nice. Give this place a try.

When she asked to cancel it because it was so late, the server initially refused and brought the dish out anyway. After checking with the manager, the waiter took back the meal, but still charged her full price for everything else. I quietly tried to explain to the manager, Chris B., that our guest was upset and that the situation should have been handled better. Instead of apologizing, he became loud and belligerent about how busy they were, which was embarrassing and unprofessional. It also felt like our large group received poor service because a 20% gratuity was already automatically added, and that charge was not very clear on the bill. Overall, the service and management response were very disappointing.

This used to be a place where you'd have to wait for a table every time, but now the restaurant is half empty and I see why! When I was ordering my food our server was slightly rude & I was taken aback (but you never want someone to spit in your food so I ignored it lol). As I was ordering my food she repeated my wing order to me as she was typing it in, but she did not acknowledge the fact that I asked for all flats so I said all flats again & her response was an "I heard" under her breath which others at my table noticed the rudeness associated with it as well. The wings visibly looked different but fine, however once I started moving them around, I noticed they were dry & chewy like they were over-fried, but normally when I get them they are moist with a slight char from being grilled even tough they are dry rubbed. The loaded baked potato I was a shock to me..a lot more cheese than potato and it was cold. I'm simply very unsatisfied. I took my food home with me & ended up just throwing it all away. They've still got the best blue cheese though, hope that doesn't change! I've got lots of points to use so I'm going to just try a different location & pray. My two times at Short Pump have been better than the last six-eight months at Midlo.

It's a sports bar, so it can get pretty loud. I was grateful we were sat in the back corner, especially as that gave me a perfect viewpoint to admire all of the decor. The food was just as great. I ordered the crunchy club wrap with a side caesar, plus the "Grinch" deviled eggs (avocado) and their rice krispie treat special, which ended up being pecan. I got a to-go box for the krispie treat and had to crush it down so it'd fit...it's genuinely quite large. The festive holiday cocktail I ordered (velvet slopes) was soooo good too. Not boozy at all, either. Our server was sweet and prompt, and everyone we encountered was friendly. We arrived around open for lunch, which was perfect as the space filled up rather quickly. Not an empty table by the time we left!

It's located in the back of Rosie's Casino - you do have to go through security and show your ID to be able to enter (must be 18 or older). There are several large screens so it's a great place to watch a game. Several beers, a couple wine options and mixed drinks available. They seemed to be understaffed when we went so while the servers were extremely nice, it did take 25 minutes for us to get our beers. The food (wings & Parmesan truffle fries) came out quickly and while I prefer breaded, crispy wings, the sauces were pretty good. I loved the truffle fries and bonus: all appetizers are 1/2 off during the March Madness games. If there's a big game we want to watch, we might return since they have so many screens and a decent beer selection.

I REFUSE to eat meat ANYWHERE in RVA but this place. Swear to GOD. They are really that good and we are talking about access to a full bar and HELLA TVS. All jokes aside, you can't thank me right now for coming and trying the wings. TBH, I have no idea about the rest of the menu but I hear that the ribs, chili and nachos rank high up with the wings. They also have specials they run through the week like live bands on Friday, Trivia on Tuesdays and BOGO wings on Wednesday. (Wings have to be dine in but I doubt they won't let you take one bite and then ask for a box- don't tell them I said that) The bartender I met, Tiffany was fabulous like Tiffany's jewelry. Real talk. Also, they have plugs running the length of the bar so bring your chargers for convenience!!!!!
