What made the evening extra enjoyable was our waitress, Sammy. She welcomed us immediately and promptly brought our beverages. She was attentive and never intrusive. She knew just when to inquire whether or not we wanted our beverages refilled. But the extra special part was her delightful personality and terrific sense of humor. We had the best time interacting with her throughout the evening - we lingered extra long (the dinner rush had slowed by then) just to chat with her when she could stop by. We felt very welcome and look forward to next time (she is there most Friday nights). Sammy is a gem.

The Jamaican Beef Patty - much like an oversized empanada - had a nice crispy shell filled with flavorful minced beef. It was extra tasty with a little of the Cajun Jamaican Jerk Sauce. My biggest issue with Mad Flavorz is that they are often out of several menu items and beers (Lobster Pops, Banana Pudding, Cheesecake, Red Stripe, Modello to mention a few).
