Came inside to wait (with elder mother), ten minutes to be seated. They're were only 2 tables with people and no one was at the bar. After talking is to the table we thought maybe it will get better, we had come for ribs. I usually come, specifically for ribs. After a few minutes the waitress came back. Everything started out not so bad. But when our food arrived order wasn't right, and it took almost 10 minutes to get cold food. That is were out started going bad AGAIN. After that the only way we could get any service was basically when she seen me getting up, or coming towards her. The problem is the last time I ordered a Cesar salad that had old wild lettuce. They have a great deal: 2 for $25. We both had a Caesar salad. I had the fiesta lime chicken It came with seasoned rice and a pick de gallo. It was fresh and hot and FANTASTIC!! When we got to the parking lot it must of been about 5pm. We walked inside the restaurant and was greeted by the host. I haven't been to this location before so I was kind of excited about it since each location is different. The ambiance was very mellow. The noise level is what you'd expect from a chain restaurant. Our server was nice. Seemed pretty busy but she was tentative. She didn't really have that "welcome/ how are you doing" type personality but that's ok. We have the wonton tacos to start and they were delicious. I just wished she came back with a couple plates but I couldn't find her or she must of been busy. We got the guacamole burger and steak and shrimp skillet. Food was hot and pretty good. The server was quite busy but she did her best to be attentive to us. I have been sick at home for a couple days so I got tired of eating soup and decided to treat myself. I ordered a meal delivery from UberEats for Applebees that I thought would be good, it was called a Riblet dinner and when it arrived I was skeptical because at first glance it didn't even look good. It didn't look anything like the picture, the meat(?) was BLACK with BBQ sauce poured over it. I ate a piece but just did not feel comfortable eating anymore. I've never seen round flat bones in any meat I've eaten. I can't even describe what it was and don't really want to because it makes me sick thinking of what I may have eaten. First time back to Applebee's sence I was a child. I still love the atmosphere. My server was Abby, very nice woman and very professional. My appetizer was mottzerilaa sticks and there where cooked perfectly but the sause tasted like tomato soup. The service up to this point has been very pleasant. Now for lunch. Spot on. My Alfredo was cooked nicely and the sauce was creaming with delicious chicken. We oder the sizzlin butter pecan bodies. Looks and smells amazing, and the teste amazing. Went to Applebee's for lunch today and will NEVER go back. Family with 3 adults and 2 children Service was fair at best. My daughter ordered steak medium rare on the 2 for $29 but it arrived well done. Sent back and was given a second steak that was medium rare but grissle and fatty. She barely could eat it A drink was ordered from the bar and wasn't near full didn't have the orange slice as pictured and was so sugary it was clearly not made correctly. I was shocked to learn there is no longer a lunch menu (supposedly due to the pandemic but I didn't understand that connection) plus NO options for senior or even smaller portions. Im very disappointed in Applebee's which used to be one of my favorite places to eat but after today I won't return And the staff lacked professionalism that I had come to expect from Applebee's. After at least 15 more minutes, the server showed up to take our drink orders. He was extremely rude to us and acted like it was our fault for complaining. I went here for their lunch special (which i think goes till 2pm): $5.99 for soup+salad, or $7.99 for a (lunch-sized) entree + soup. I ordered the Tomato Basil soup, which tasted ok, but maybe I'm not a fan of tomato soup. I also ordered the Three Cheese Chicken Penne, which was pretty good. When I order I did receive a message that it would be 60-70 minutes. Which I thought was a long wait for two salads. So I called Applebee's to confirm that time. My husband and I received a gift card, so we went for dinner on a Friday night. I was surprised that the restaurant just didn't seem very clean and the tables felt so gross because the top layer of finish was peeling off.
