The service and health protocols are terrible. We waited almost 20 minutes before anyone showed up at our table and then another 20 minutes before our coffee showed up. The mugs were held by the server BY THE RIM, and then plonked down without an offer of cream or sugar. A simple request for some creamer was met with "We don't have any". No offer of an alternative or any offer to take our order. We finally decided not to have the coffee and leave, so we asked for the bill. She mumbled "don't worry about it" and walked out the back door. We were stunned, but after sitting around for a good while waiting for her to come back, we left. We came here at 1:30 1/823 to have a nice lunch. The salads were amazing. The restaurant was clean and our waitress was pleasant . But the hostess was clearly a racist. She couldn't even say hello and the look of hate was all over her face. What if I were corporate? She has no idea who I am to treat us so poorly. I will come back to this restaurant because over all its a great restaurant, but I will not be treated like this again. On a side note. Just because your white doesn't make you a racist. We are STILL here at 7:31... ordered the all you can eat cause my hubby is hungry. So far both have been COLD.. and takes FOREVER to get to our table. The waitress is nice. But dang! I decided to do the 2 for $22.00 deal. There wasnt much of a variety (to my liking) to choose from, so I decided to try something new. The lime marinated chicken with shredded cheese and rice was interesting. It wasnt a favorite, but was worth at least trying. Visited this Applebee's around 9:30pm on a Thursday evening with my family (5 people). The overall experience was lack luster and disappointing. The hostess and server were both nice. However, it took us more than 15 minutes to be greeted after being seated. Bar drinks took almost 25 minutes to arrive at the table and came well after our appetizer was brought out. When drinks finally arrived, my shot glass was clearly/visibly dirty (just disgusting). Ordered 2 steaks and both were extremely undercooked (wanted Medium temp and they both arrived Rare and bleeding). One was removed from the bill without opposition; the other was asked to be placed back on the grill to cook to the desired temp. This Applebee's needs improvement all the way round. We usually come here after work because they do open really late. Our experience was great. They said if we wanted to host quickly see you today and we were able to order a drink and soon after our food. At first I thought the table with sticky, but it was actually just a little bit work because they had just wait down everything. The utensils were pretty clean as well as the cups when they brought our drinks. The food came out promptly after that and it was nice and hard and seasoned well! Great place to bring your family for something quick. We ordered their white peach sangria, 4 cheese Mac and cheese with tenders and a grilled chicken and shrimp. read more

We used to go here all the time, however we won't be visiting this location again. We were up late doing homework and decided to get a quick bite to eat. Well, when we walked in the door we were greeted by the host after waiting a good 3-5 minutes past when she saw us, and the restaurant was completely dead. She gave us a nasty look and then walked away from us again to go talk to a waiter. Another 5 minutes goes by and finally we are seated. Our waiter comes and he refuses to acknowledge my wife. I speak and he's fine, she speaks and he ignores her and only talks to me. He wouldn't even look at her. WOW! We were greeted and sat pretty quickly and our waitress came super quick; that was it of the service we had. After 30 minutes and still no drinks; we ordered one regular margarita and one frozen and two waters. We could see our drinks sitting at the bar. After 10 mins we went to the hostess (who was great by the way) and she went and got the drinks for us. The frozen Margarita was no longer frozen, but more like a watered down slush. Then the server brings out just one of our plates of food. But no silverware or straws. So back to the hostess we go. She happily helped us. After 15 mins we got our second plate of food and the sauce was missing off of the top of the chicken. I asked for the sauce on the side and waters please (since we still didn't have those). She brought the waters but not the sauce. No refills on water at all. We were ready to go. The pay at the table tablet wasn't even working so we pressed the 'call your waiter' button. Finally after 10 mins flagged down the server for the next table to ask our server for our bill. After 10 more minutes we got it. Extremely disappointed in a comment made by Manager Steve here while my husband and I were out with our friend. We asked for the military discount, and the server came back to our table and informed us Manager Steve would only give the military discount to my husband and I, but not our friend, due to her having a blue streak in her hair, saying that no one with a blue streak in their hair is affiliated with the military. So as far as chain restaurants go, I don't usually write reviews let alone 5-star reviews---BUT this particular Applebee's has amped up their A game and I felt it necessary to give a Yelp :) Today we were greeted promptly and friendly---we chose the 2 go $22 deal and opted for the cedar apple lemon chicken and the three cheese penne chicken with an appetizer. Honestly the food was ideal, tasty, perfectly proportioned and with in particular the cedar chicken was Delicious! Our server Dontrell (sp?) was super friendly and attentive. No problems whatsoever----our trip to Lowes was well worth it by the paired trip to Applebee's. We WILL be back for a yummy deal and healthy options for sure! read more

She got her food before me without silverware also and no refills. Customer service was awful with our hostess Natayzha, although she was nice she waltzed pass us over 6 times without refills or anything asked about our services to include silverware. This place has been my favorite however since covid their business has gotten worst and needs some attention on training their employees and how to maintain in a busy setting, the position they filled for. This is ridiculous, how slow and worst business is and has become since the pandemic covid. Me and my wife put in a ToGo order and when we got the food home her Mac and Cheese had no sauce on it at all it was just noodles... The mozzarella sticks we ordered came with cocktail sauce... COCKTAIL SAUCE! Right at midnight from June 17th to June 18th, I went to Applebee's with my Dad and had my first drink at 21! The bartender Nikki was absolutely sweet and amazing, and my first drink was a mango martini! The honey barbecue boneless wings were really good, and Nikki even brought out a surprise desert on the house. I have nothing but good things to say about this Applebee's. While I never expected to end up in Savannah, Georgia while I turning 21, I will remember this night forever and am glad it didn't go any other way. read more

We expect slower/different service because of Covid, but this service was terrible. Our bartender, who I assume is new, was all over the place and the other servers were down his back the entire hour+ we were there. We first ordered an appetizer and was told it would be out in 5-10 minutes. It wasn't. Then it took until our drinks were empty and appetizer gone to order the main dishes. Those were said to be out in just a few minutes but they took at least 20 minutes. I don't blame the bartender though. He was obviously overwhelmed. The manager was there but not helping, the other servers were constantly asking for things and saying it was "affecting their money". (Allowing your servers to complain on the floor where customers can hear is ridiculous.) The two hostesses standing at the desk just talking to each other weren't of much help either. Why staff too many hostesses for the night instead of an additional server? If you're going to be open for dining during Covid, train your team to check in with their customers regularly, take a deep breath every now and then, and even take a 5 minute break. She finally addressed us and said "let me clean off a table for you".. again, 3/4 of the restaurant was empty. So we waited longer. She then finally sat the family ahead of us and sat us right after. My boyfriend and I walked in at 10 pm (they close at midnight) and went to the bar and a server comes running up and says we can't order food at the bar because the bartender is done for the night.
