    tvs and beer taps

Stopped by last minute while coming off the the Islands. Parking is a little tight, but there are plenty of spots. The place is a lot bigger on the inside than I expected. We sat at the bar and our bartender was awesome. Food was a little slow to come out. We only ordered 8 tenders and fries. I will saw that the tenders are huge and delicious! This is a cool place to grab a dink mid week when the week have been week'ing. Might be my fave hole on the wall in the area. Don't expect much, but it's great for what it is.

I've been visiting Coach's for years. It's a cute sports bar that always has something going on. A few years ago they extended the back patio and created an outdoor venue. It's covered so rain isn't a problem. They usually have a classic rock cover bank playing on the weekend. It's pretty cool. Inside there are tons of TVs. There are also many booths so I've almost always been able to get one. They have large table set up all the time so it's a great place to show up with a group and be able to sit right away. The food is solid bar food. The pizza is great. Prices are very reasonable and havent sky rocketed like a lot of places. They have a great beer selection. They have like 16 on draft. They have a wide selection (including sours) so it's easy to find something you love or something new to try. There is a designated parking lot so parking is easy. It's laid back but not a total dive.

Sports bar that has been around for a long time. Typical fried food on the menu. Came for hermit crab races with the Home Builders Association, and it was a great venue to host us in the outdoor space!

Great, hot, cheap sports bar food and drinks. Servers are fast, friendly, and have a good sense of humor! Lots and LOTS of TVs inside to watch your favorite sports! They have a larger outside section as well

This is the place to watch sports for sure! They have a ton of TVs and tables. Definitely lives up to the bar's name. I requested to watch a particular game and they got it on for me. I ordered the Coach's wing basket and got the Teriyaki Hot. The wings were good but the sauce didn't have enough heat for me but I know for next time. The fries were hot and crispy. Jake the bartender was very hospitable and made you feel really welcome!!! Definitely stop by if you are wanting to watch some sports game out and about.

I've been 3 times within the past couple of months. Service has been fantastic every time. Food has been really tasty every time as well. Beer is always cold. There are TVs everywhere so you can always watch something, mostly sports but sometimes movies as well. Prices are reasonable. One thing I will point out as just a heads up...if you order a calzone and aren't expecting any tomato sauce inside the calzone then it might be a little weird. That was a first for me. I wasn't expecting it but it was tasty. I recommend their nachos as well. Another heads up, they serve sour cream in tube packets. Not my preference but also not a dealbreaker for me. They are always having some sort of entertainment as well and I follow them to keep up. I live nearby now and it's my go-to for something quick and easy.

First off, this place is huge! While driving by the establishment, it appears to be very small in size judging from the exterior. However, upon stepping inside one can see it is approximately a city block long, with very spacious inside and outside viewing areas. Each area can accommodate several hundred persons, and there are more than enough flat-screens for your viewing pleasure. Every dining booth has its own flat screen, with numerous more scattered thorough-out the business. The menu is very extensive, with something for everyone. I ordered the club sandwich with french fries. It did take awhile for the food to arrive from the kitchen, but the sandwich was filling. No comments on the taste as nothing stood out on that aspect of the food. They do have a lot of special events and appear to be a favorite hangout of the locals. It is a great place to watch sporting events and will most certainly fulfill your needs in this area.

It's a really pretty, sunny room with a few different seating areas (bar, upstairs, main seating, sidewalk, etc.) just a short Uber (or middling walk) from Downtown. Reasonably priced and totally worth your trip over to check it out. Might be my best breakfast of the year so far, and it's December! Short rib hash bowl was both moist and crispy, just the right side of too salty and had some real zing. Umami, for sure! Yum (my mouth's watering just thinking of it a couple days later)! My wife loved her inexpensive (but perfect) waffle and bacon and her hot toddy was pretty inspired. I grabbed a piece of gingerbread cake for the plane home and that proved to be an inspired idea. Tyla took great care of us, whirling around all the other tables and other staffers. Wow, but the place is hopping. Looking at the inspired menu and especially all the baked goods and shakes, well - right then we made up our minds that we HAD to return to Savannah - to eat more of this! I'm glad I don't live nearby: I'd be as big as a house.

Erica Davis Lowcountry sits on Victory Drive in Thunderbolt -- a town so small it has exactly one square mile of land and a name borrowed from a lightning strike that supposedly split open a freshwater spring on the Wilmington River bluff. The restaurant itself has a similar origin story: a long-shuttered seafood spot called Teeple's, left empty for years, brought back to life by Erica and Dwight Davis with real care. The gaslight sconces out front stayed. So did the bones of the building. The garage doors open when the weather cooperates. We came in late on a Friday, catching the final stretch of their brunch service. Hannah (I believe) was our server -- in training, which you wouldn't have guessed. She steered us well and managed the table (and the room) with a confidence that didn't feel performed. We started with the Barbecue Shrimp and the Oysters Rockefeller. The barbecue shrimp -- Georgia shrimp in a spiced, rich sauce served with toasts -- was good but the one I'd skip on a return visit. The Oysters Rockefeller are the opposite story: roasted, finished with creamed collards and parmesan, and genuinely one of the better bites I've had in recent memory. Order them. My husband had the Wassaw Redfish -- pan-seared over stone-ground grits with garlic beurre blanc and heirloom tomato. Clean, confident cooking. I had the Sunday fried chicken, which delivered exactly what that dish promises when it's done right. Sides of fresh green beans, South Georgia collards, and Erica's Famous Coleslaw held their own across the board. Dessert was the Key Lime Pie, served in a cup that does not prepare you for how good it is. Tart and creamy in the right proportion. We didn't leave any behind. The family's seafood history in Savannah goes back to 1946. You can feel that kind of depth in a kitchen -- not in any one dramatic bite, but in the steadiness of it all.

She expressed that it was her favorite dish and the favorite dish of many customers. The flavors were great, and interesting. The dish had the potential to be an 8/10 or 9/10, but it was so incredibly salty that it was nearly unbearable. The signature dish was a 6/10, maybe, as a result. If it was fine tuned, it could be a great dish. We also had the Fried Green Tomatoes. Very nice. Would order those again. They were delicious. This is a cool spot, and if they dial in their food, it could be epic. Our waitress was a delight also. Really nice service. 3 stars is justified because, in spite of the good things noted, the core element for any restaurant must be their food and if the Shrimp and Grits is their "signature" dish, they should give it the same attention they give other areas that are going well.

The greeting from our arrival to seating was prompt and very courteous. We got suggestions from the wait staff and started our experience. They have an extensive cocktail and wine list. Very hard not to make it chewy. Great char and sauce that accompanied it. For entrees, we did the Perloo, an amazing interpretation, and a swordfish. The refund came through exactly as he said it would. To be clear, the food on my visit genuinely missed, and I'm not pretending otherwise. Credit where it's due on the space, too -- the ambiance is genuinely great. Warm, candle-lit dining room, an open kitchen, a well-stocked bar, and a covered patio that had a real buzz to it. It's a spot that looks and feels like somewhere you want to be, which is exactly why I'd give the kitchen another shot based on how the owner runs this place. --- Original review (2 stars): Disappointing birthday dinner. Came in for my birthday and left underwhelmed. Our server Troy was the one bright spot -- professional and attentive all night. Caesar salad: Several bitter pieces of lettuce, and no black pepper offered or available. Faroe Island salmon: Overly buttery like it had been sitting under a heat lamp. The shishito cream sauce was way too acidic -- tasted like uncooked wine or vinegar. Crispy rice cakes were bland and a strange pairing (rice blocks with salmon?). The baby bok choy was decent until the sauce drowned it out. Braised beef short rib: Tender but flavorless. The mashed potatoes tasted old, not fresh that evening. To top it off, my wife had arranged ahead of time for the birthday dessert to be brought out -- the message never reached Troy, so that moment never happened. Troy deserved better than what the kitchen sent out.

I was debating between the Fried green tomato BLT or the Caprese Grilled cheese then our server Kristin suggested the mussels and that is what I ended up with and I am so glad I did. These were absolutely the best mussels I've ever had. The sauce was not the traditional garlic/shallot wine sauce but had more tomato and basil reminiscent of warm bruschetta. I had to borrow my husbands spoon to get every bit of that sauce after I finished my mussels. My husband had the famous shrimp and grits which he absolutely loved.
