The manager was very cold, smart a** excuses just like the Shelly for good service and said her name for Mary for bad service. Service was bad we waited a long time for the salad and a few minutes later here comes our burgers. We had not eaten our salad yet, Really? Servers at Apple Bees never did this to us. What happened to Apple Bees???? We had a friend he went out for a birthday dinner at Apple Bee's Buyer Be aware We are going to the health department. Be careful... The food was decent. Applebee's quality, but nothing wrong with it. The service was not good. It took almost twenty minutes to place an order.THEN, our food took over an hour to arrive. Water refills were impossible. Several other people were looking about for their server or orders to be filled. We counted at least twelve staff members, but nothing seemed to be getting done. I also noted that plates brought out to a table were snuggled to the bosom of the staff bringing them. Waitstaff fingers went in glasses that were served as they were carried to table. Stopped in here after exploring the Olympic National Forest. Everything was great with the dining experience from the nice waitress that was really good at up-sale-ing, to the food tasting great! The employees here are far more polite and friendlier than the Seattle area. So kudos to Sequim for that! The bathrooms however lacked needed supplies and I saw on their check off list by the door that employees had been checking off the sheet but obviously not restocking items. read more

The hostess was not attentive, appeared disorganized, and couldn't remember the name of our waitress. She offered up two names for the waitress and both were wrong. Currently there is a promotion order $35 of food and drink-for an Indiana Jones Movie ticket for free. So here we are after a steep hike snacking out! First it's Applebees, food quality is mostly like fast food but in a nicer setting with drinks. The good: our server Hunter E. was friendly, professional, refilled drinks and checked on us, best service I've had since pre-Covid times! Thanks! Bartender was busy and fast. Happy Hour: Tasty Tropical Margarita for $6. Tall 20oz beer for $7. Many apps half off, so Mozzarella sticks $5. Boneless Chicken Wings for $7. They have a 2 for $25 meal (we should have ordered that promo rather than on own orders) The perfect Margarita in the shaker was very nice, gives you 2 1/2 martini drinks! The bad: Rack of ribs we had looked so good when brought out, tasty sauce but were so overcooked, so thin, not worth $24. We should've got riblets for meat!! The fries are way over seasoned. I was visiting the area for work and had to order take out because I just don't think one should be forced to disclose medical records too eat a meal. My order included a margarita, chicken tortilla soup, ribs with fries, and the blondie. I was glad they provided utensils, but sadly no ketchup. Cosmopolitan ($9) uses the "right" ingredients (Absolut Citron & Cointreau) - no upsell (unless you are a goose fan) Second time Sara - server, not as feisty, but welcoming and just enough attentive to make for a good experience. Service was nonexistent yesterday. From the very beginning we were treated as if we were not appreciated. We asked to sit at a table near the door, due to my wife using oxygen and suffering with degenerative bone desease. We were told that we would be seated elsewhere so as to accommodate the staff. After receiving our order, we never saw the waitstaff again until the end of the meal, as were getting up to leave we were asked if we would like a refill on our drinks. While waiting for service we heard a lot of celebration going on in a back room out of sight of the main restaurant but no one in sight. I asked to speak to a manager and he seemed not to care about me inconvenience and just asked what I thought he should do. I don't believe he cared whether I returnrd or not. So, I won't. I just made a meal out of sides from Applebee's. I had the side loaded garlic mashed potatoes, garlicky green beans, and smokey mozzarella ravioli, with mango lemonade to drink. The smoky flavor in the ravioli wasn't very strong, but other than that it was all fantastic. The green beans weren't stringy or tough and were flavored very nicely. The mashed potatoes were so delicious I finished them before I even left the parking lot. I got it Carside To Go and paid online, and the service was very prompt. The mango lemonade wasn't too strong or too bland. It was very refreshing. It's hard to find mango lemonade. It's nice to know where I can get it. read more

Basically like a really big high end Jack-in-the-box. The food was mid-level quality, with presentation poor. But the staff, from what I could tell was, in its entirety, more focused on socializing with each other than serving customers. My impression was that your needs as a client of this business will be what these employees find annoying about their job. The only variation we asked for, on any of our meals, was no croutons on my girlfriend's salad because she doesn't eat gluten. Once she finished taking the croutons, and the bread stick out of her salad and put them on a separate plate, the waitress walked by noticing this and asked if "they" had made a mistake. We said "yes, but that it was okay because...". She had already apologized and walked away. My girlfriend was fine eating her salad now that she had picked them out. Instead, without us requesting a replacement salad, the guy that brought the food in the first place, whom we had already informed when it was given to us, took her salad, she was already eating and replaced it with a new one. Which concerned her that it may have been tampered with since they seemed so put out by having to correct their mistake. Totally weird, and definitely poor service experience. Followed up by our server asking if we wanted dessert, then dropping off a tablet, pointing to the pay button, and leaving. I pressed the button and saw the virtual receipt. I swear the kitchen is in another state, because each time we asked for something it was a good long wait. The two of us came in on a Saturday about 4:45pm, and were respectfully asked to show our P.O.Vacc. before heading back to sit in the additional bar seating area. Ive always felt that with Chain Restaurants, table service is most prompt and consistent at the bar, which may or not be true but seems like it is. Our server was spritely and attentive, helping us take advantage of the happy hour pricing. Which is great, btw, see pictures of the trifold mini menus- happy hour is 3-6 and 9-close 7 days a week (I think)! Not a lot of immediate options for Low Carb dining, but there were definitely some tasty looking "healthy bowl" meals on the menu that looked good. The steamed broccoli was so buttery and salty, yum. Chicken Caesar was tasty and was pretty heavy on the chicken. It was moderately busy but not congested, it felt spacious, clean and well-sanitized, masks worn by all who were standing. We were told there was a 25-30 minute wait, so we proceeded to the waiting area, but we told we are not allowed to sit there. We asked if we could wait in the bar, we were told we are not allowed to wait there either. We asked where we could wait and were told that we'd have to wait outside. I told the guy it's raining out and do they really expect us to stand in the rain for 25-30 minutes? He just shrugged as if to say take it or leave it. So we left. Plenty of other places to go. The last 4 times I have ordered ribs, they have not been tender like previously, to the point where I sent back my plate at one point. The servers were very pleasant, most of the food (steaks) was great, and was served up fairly quickly. We had two issues, one small and one large. We ordered an Oreo milkshake. They were out of Oreos, no big deal considering the supply chain issues. They substituted with vanilla. That should have been fine, but the milk or ice cream was spoiled. They took it back, no problem. By the way, that's the first time either of us has ever sent anything back. The bigger problem is that despite a health department order that requires customers to show proof of COVID 19 vaccination no one at Applebee's checked anyone's vaccine status. We were so surprised (and hungry) that we ordered anyway.
