Do not go here unless you don't mind spending OVER 2 hours in a restaurant. Half of that time will be spent waiting on your food and the majority of the rest of of that time will be waiting for your ticket unless you pay at the table. The service is slow! read more

We saw the ad on the TV for the Flame Grilled steak for a very nominal price and decided, OK let's do it. We had not been in Applebee's for quite some time because the service was not the best. We were seated immediately and told who our server was going to be. We were handed menus and SAT for at least five minutes and were just on the verge of leaving when our server showed up and said " I wasn't told you were in my station so I have just been running my mouth". Bad communications between the server and receptionist. Yes that is true but after having been in a server situation, constant checking by the server should be the norm. We ordered and our food was brought out in a short time and it was delicious. Steak was done exactly as ordered, baked potato was done all the way through and the grilled veggies were great. The server came by once to see if all was OK but never inquired if we need another drink. Overall the experience was no worse than expected and we may visit again. read more

Stopped by for lunch today, a cheeseburger and my wife had the club. Waited over 35 minutes for the meals to come out and the club was terrible. the bread was soaking wet and so soggy you could not even pick up the sandwich. Manager brought out a new one, it was just as bad... She said the bread comes in frozen and they thaw it under heat lamps, and that is why the bread is wet... The replacement sandwich was just as bad as the first. If you can't get a simple club sandwich right, that is pretty poor. The waitress was great- she gave great service, but the quality of the food was poor and service out of the kitchen was even worse. This place is horrible. I should have known when I pulled into the parking lot on a Saturday night and seen just a handful of cars. You would think of having good service with a low crowd. The waitress was okay, my problem is with the kitchen. I ordered a Queso Blanco for an appetizer and received watery cheese and the bowl wasn't even filled past half full!! Then I get the Four Cheese Mac and Cheese and the macaroni barely has any cheese on it because it's drowning in sauce that was used to cook the chicken. The absolute worst service imaginable. We were told the wait would be 15-20 minutes. 45 minutes later we were still waiting. They sat 4 groups of people that came in AFTER we did. While waiting we used the restroom where two servers were discussing how they would stand in there to take their break because no one would notice. Extremely disappointed. read more

I wish I could give zero stars. The past four times my girlfriend and I have eaten there have been very disappointing. Fries are frequently burnt, stale, and cold. Other food items are either cold or the breading is noticeably old. I realize that I should have stopped going sooner, but I am a reasonable person and it is very near my home. I also realize that certain factors can decide how a dining experience can be effected; e.g. different cooks, servers, and even shift management. On the third visit, however, I had my fill (no pun intended) and decided to lodge a formal complaint with corporate. After many days, the general manager of that location called me and offered me a 25 dollar gift card. My girlfriend and I used it on our forth and final visit. I will drive to Perry or Macon from now on, though that is an inconvenience. Or perhaps I will just eat at one of their rivals (not that they care). read more

Over the last few years, my husband and I have really modified our diets. We've gone with a much healthier lifestyle, and that took a lot of casual dining and fast food restaurants off the table. Now that the chains have begun to incorporate healthier options in their menus, we have started visiting them more. Of course, we splurge for the not so healthy options, occasionally. I don't expect a magical dining experience at a chain restaurant like Applebee's, however, when you're paying more, it should at least be on par with a typical fast food establishment. I can't believe how much these chains have declined in the last few years. The quality of the food is poor. The service is poor. The ambiance is awful. The food we got was just lackluster. It was expensive. I've had far superior cuisine at fast food restaurants. It was also much cheaper. That's really sad! So, what are you really paying for? A crowded room, with chairs, booths and tables packed tightly together? Instead of trying to create a pleasant dining experience for customers, they're just trying to fill their restaurant with as many warm bodies as possible. We slipped in around 9p.m. for a quick bite. It was extremely loud. I felt we were at a rock concert. There was a lot of crowd noise, blaring televisions, and a couple of guys playing music live. Their amps were so loud, and they were seating customers close to where the band was performing. We had to yell to speak to each other from across the table. I had my children there too. It was a nightmare. I contemplated leaving, but it was late. It took a long time for the food. The whole time we were being tortured by the performing duo, whom the crowd showed little interest in. How about you just play pop music from various eras over the system at a decent volume and keep the T.V.s at the bar? I'm surprised no one picked up on how loud it was. The service was just very basic. The standard of Applebee's does not appear to be as good as it once was. The food is just blah. I'm not quite sure what they are going for. It's not really a bar atmosphere, especially when you see children sitting right next to you. It's also not a family restaurant. It was a very odd experience. This is the worst Applebee's I have ever been to. Staff didn't care we were there waiting to be seated. Our server saw us come in and waited several minutes to acknowledge we were there and then acted as if we were a bother. He took us to the table and realized the booth was dirty and asked my wife to hold the menus while he lazily wiped off the table. We should have left. We stayed and the food was not cooked properly and drink refills interfere socializing with staff. Manager was there but didn't care about proper operation. Save your money money and go anywhere else. My worst experience in Warner Robins and Chris is the worst waiter I've ever had. Not at all impressed. read more
