This is the third time we took the grand kids and the last. The service is fantastic but the food really sucks. First steak was ok second tolerable and the third was as good as the one the guy next to us sent back but being a trooper sawed through mine and chewed for a half hour on it. The wife's fish (think it was fish) and chips was by far the worst she has ever been served. Believe us she has had a lot of fish and chips and hands down this set a record. Bad customer service. We make our order at 9.05 PM two boneless wings and 2 drinks. After 30 minutes we talk with the manager and the server David forgot to put on the system our drinks. Okay, at 9.40 PM, our food come but again the server who want to do all the tables but dont have experiences to do that, put another plate. We talk with the manager and at 9.50 PM our food come correctly. After almost one hour waiting the food. We notice this server want to make the service for every table. This mean he believe we will make more tips in that, but is not. We came from Seattle and we go to applebees every week and always we gave 30% or more tips when the customer service is good. But in this location with this service is so bad and we probably do not want come back. The general manager make a good service but this server David he is so horrible. Of course he need to understand how make a good service and after that take a lot of tables. He need to understand if he make a good service he will receive good tips. After the manager come the server avoid to look for us. The table behind me say the same thing. The server is so bad and the table in front of me, left after 15 minutes without water on the table We understand sometimes is busy but it is impossible all server doing the job but only David not. Ah, Crapplebee's. Man, it feels like I haven't stepped inside a Crapplebee's in like forever! Y'know, it's coming back to me. Unemployment, no mistakin' it! Regardless, I've found that their Late Night 1/2 price appetizers are more often effective than your typical OTC (over the counter) laxatives. Note: Females are more often affected than males. Despite all this, I'm a sucker for Boneless Classics perfectly accompanied with blue cheese. Ask Nostradamus. He couldn't agree with me more. "According to the prediction, another falls at night time." Alright, I admit, perhaps I went a little overboard with the reality of asking a dead guy? Fear not! 1,720 calories is enough to reunite the living with the dead, right? Oh, yes! So, yeah, Crapple's may not hold a Michelin rating of 3 stars, but it sure as hell gets a 3 star from me. Just tried lunch here after more than a year of not having been to an Applebees. Not good. There revamped menu still sucks. Service was passable. New menu items on the back are a joke - they don't clearly tell you everything is half sized / small portioned. Was really looking forward to a whole sandwich thinking I could afford the 600 calories and they brought me a 1/2 sandwich... and it came out late. And it was a cup of soup instead of a bowl. Okay so I'm not really into chain restaurants but I was with 4 kids and my dear friend and it was 9 at night. The staff was very sweet. Service was slow and food was blah. The kids Mac n cheese was Kraft and a small portion with no sides offered like the other kids meals. The ac was blasting, so we were pretty freezing and the music was pretty loud. If you're a Wenatchee High School grad, this is THE unofficial re-union spot for the first 3 or 4 years after graduation. I came here on Christmas break from college once and saw 25 of my fellow WHS 2000 classmates. No lie. The food is nothing special. However, the ridiculously cheap happy hour food bargains and well drinks make Applebees worthwhile to keep returning to - even if there are multiple 1991 Accords on Les Schwab 19 inch rims (financed through installment payments) lined up outside. read more

What can you say? This chain is homogenized food engineered to look good, but leaves you unfulfilled. Applebee's has a weird interior decorating style, somehow cluttered and out-of-date even right after it has been remodeled. Service is ok, depending on where you go. Lots of college students trying to put themselves through school. The food however is pretty bad. Someone somewhere cooked it to look really nice and they took great exciting pictures of it for their menus. What you get doesn't live up to the hype though. I got a dissapointingly small steak with some cold-ish mashed potatoes and a pile of vegetables that had just been reheated in the microwave. This was a really terrible experience. Our waitress name is Kacie. She was rude and her overall customer service skills are very poor. After waiting an extended amount of time for our food, it was cold. It's truly incredible that people can do jobs like this that are so rude. I don't get to Applebees very often, as they don't seem to have them where I live, and the one they did have was so bloody expensive that it eventually went out of business. But the one here in Wenatchee is a very different story; the prices are not out of line. We enjoyed a tasty meal and the waiter service was prompt. The only thing that takes it down a peg or two for me are the TVs jammed into all the corners, which for someone with a short attention span (yours truly) can be quite distracting, lol! But all in all, I've been to this Applebees a few times over the years, and have enjoyed the good food and friendly service each time. Did I mention the free beer? No? Oh - I guess they didn't have any - too bad! I plan to return to Applebees from time to time when I'm visiting friends/family in Wenatchee. Good food, good service, and good value. I have multiple food allergies and our server, Olga , was very sweet and brought the manager out to help us with our questions! They were both very patient and the manager was able to answer every question and concern we had. Instead of seeming like he was annoyed with all our questions, he answered all of them with a GREAT understanding attitude . Came in on a Friday at about 8. Waited 10 or so minutes for a table. Witnessed a waiter or busboy throw an unwrapped starburst at one of the hostesses. It fell on the floor, he then picked it up and ate it. Chewing with his mouth open, no less. You can't make this up. Our waiter was good. However, it took over 30 minutes to get our single fried cheese stick appetizer. The iced tea tasted fresh brewed. The root beer was getting mixed wrong. Extra carbonated and hardly sweet. It burned our throats. The fiesta like chicken had good flavors of the grill but the rice had clearly been under a hear lamp for hours. Rubbery and bland. The chicken tenders were good as were the fries, but some were crispy while others soggy. The honey mustard sauce was good. The pepper crusted steak was ok but the grains that came with tastes like dirt, as if the mushrooms weren't cleaned properly. The spinach was burnt and bitter. Overall, not a great experience. Anytime we have a bad day or night we go to Applebee's and sit at the bar. The bartender, Madeline, is incredible!!!!!! Not only is she nice and chats with everyone, she makes you feel welcomed. Now I remember why I swore off all Applebees restaurants. Stopped in Wenatchee and decided to just pull in rather than searching around for another place to eat. We waited awhile for the waitress to even come and take our drink orders. When she finally came we all ordered water and my husband a coffee. Another long wait and we finally got our waters but no coffee. She mumbled, "I'll be back to take your orders" as she walked off. Twenty minutes later we're still waiting for our waitress to take our order, and she's nowhere to be seen. Literally we didn't even see her at all in our section. So not only were we without a waitress but so was every other person sitting at the booths and tables. And all the other waiters and waitresses were congregating over by the kitchen talking and laughing. So we got up and left. The Applebees restaurants used to be great, in food and service. But they're all failing, in food and service, and you'd think it would cause them to up their game. They never seem to fail to disappoint. read more

If I could leave less than 1 star I would. My husband and I have gone twice and the second time was a huge let down. The server we got wasn't nice at all. My drink came like 10 minutes after ordering it my husbands came 20 minutes after we had ordered the drinks. The server kept passing by and avoiding us, giving us weird stares. So we waited 45 minutes never got our full course meal. We only got our wings. The celery had dirt on it. Then they brought us food but it was the wrong order. They had brought us someone else's food. We let the manager know that we had already ate a mushroom off that plate and he went and took it away from the owners of that plate. Then people who had ordered after us got their meals first so very displeased I asked my husband to pay the appetizer and drinks and cancel the order. The manager said are you sure? I am constantly wondering why people even go here. I always see friend fb posts saying they are going here. Must like the microwave food? I've had two unpleasant trips to this establishment. The first one was with my father we were meeting for lunch. I had a salad that wasn't anything special but when in doubt salad it out is my motto. He had a steak that he ordered MR (medium rare) when the steak arrived it was well but not the least bit charred on the outside... strange. When my dad finally mentioned it to a manager because believe it or not we didn't see our server forever after receiving our food. I believe she brought water, soda, food and that's all we saw of her anyways.. When the manager saw out waitress walking by she said this gentleman's steak is too done and the waitress replyed "what do you mean? I pressed four!" My assumption is that the steak was microwaved. Gross. My second encounter was with my husband. We wanted a late night snack but wanted to sit down. One of the only places in town open of course AppleBees so we reluctantly decided to go for it. When we got there we stood in the doorway for 10 minutes before we decided to ask the guy at the bar if we could sit at a table in that section. He scoffed it was ok and we sat down. Lady brought water about 5-8 minutes after sitting there and we placed our orders. I have the chicken ceacer salad, my husband there variation of an asian salad. Which is the only reason why I am giving this place two stars that salad was amazing. The service however terrible. We pushed plates from in front of us and waited after about 20 minutes my husband got up and got someone who was short and rude with him to contact our server. She dropped our check without a word and walked away. Nice! I am a server and I NEVER tip less then 15% but I also give credit where its deserved. One of my all time favorite restaurants up until the other day. I felt offended and shamed by the manager or some lady employee that's works there coming to our table and accusing us of "vaping" because she thought she had "seen smoke" by our table and telling us it wasn't allowed. If eating my mozzarella stick and stretching out the cheese is "vaping" well maybe you shouldn't have them on the menu. She should've asked instead of assuming. Our server was very rude and with poor customer service, please train your employees to treat customers with respect and maybe they'll get tipped that way. Went to eat last weekend (Sunday night) with friends. We were having a great night. Ordered our food. You know just having a good time. Then all of a sudden the manager or some lady who worked there comes up to our table and just starts accusing us of "Vaping" doesn't even question if we have one, just straight accused of seeing smoke come from our table.
