An excellent steak house in the Yuba city area. It's a great place to celebrate dinners or anniversary's with friends and family. I was introduced to this place by my fiancee and her family. Altogether I've been here maybe 5 times. And each time I've come away impressed by the quality of food, the portions, and the taste. Servers here are friendly and always checking on the table. Bread and butter served while you wait. My favorites here are the chicken wings, fried chicken, and their ribeye steaks. The chicken fried chicken here comes with two huge pieces of friend chicken gravy and two sides. This is definitely for the ranchers. We recently went and a person at our table had an issue with their steak being a bit undercooked. No issue as the server came and corrected the problem with the kitchen. Also the indoor dining can be a bit dark in here but it makes for an intimate setting. If you're in the Yuba or Sutter area and in the mood for a nicer home cooked meal be sure to check out The Ranch House.

    Prime rib. Mushy veggies

I wanted to L-O-V-E this restaurant. I have mixed feelings about it. The service was great, our waitress was on top of refills and things like that. I found it really crazy that other servers weren't running hot food out when it was put up in the window. It should come out right away and be hot. They'd stand there and if it wasn't their table they'd take off. Just run the food out!! The dinner salad was great, rolls were good too. My prime rib was about 1/2 fat. I don't understand why.Baked potato was small. The vegetables were way too overcooked (why even have them on the plate if they're going to be mushy)? My husband said his bleu cheese crusted steak was good. My daughter's prime rib oddly didn't have hardly any fat. Her boyfriend had the beef tips and said the sauce was bland. It was really, really loud in there. Service ***** Food **

Let the tuna speak. Ordered the Margherita flatbread - Served with Ranch? Com'on Had a whole half leaf of basil on it too. Chiffonade the Basil. Conveniently located in the heart of downtown Maryville (at 1st & D St's), and next to the Chinese "Bok Kai Temple", this longstanding and well known restaurant/saloon/hotel has been in operation dating way back to 1858 when the peak of the gold rush era was thriving in California. Over the years, the upstairs hotel (a.k.a. "The Grand Hotel") was once a brothel amongst various operations before becoming a permanent hotel for guests to stay. Meanwhile the downstairs has served as a full-size bar complete with a ton of American comfort food to choose from on their extensive menu. I came here during the afternoon of Saturday 7/19/2025 at around 4:30pm. Since this was during the 25th annual "Marysville Peach Festival", there was a ton of customers and locals visiting during my visit. Surprisingly, parking was easy to find as I parked directly outside of the building. Once inside, you are immediately drawn to the nostalgic wooden interior. From the looks of it, not much has changed here over the years complete with vintage sepia chandeliers, huge brick ovens, taxidermy displays of various animals, and everything else that represented the wild wild west. Their menu is extensive and has just about all of the stick-to-your-ribs food you can ask for. This includes a ton of appetizers (poppers, fries, mozzarella sticks, etc.) as well as a nice variety of main course entrées that include sandwiches, burgers, salads, steaks, pastas, and much more. And since you're in a saloon, they offer all of the top whiskies, bourbons and brandies as well as a ton of beer on tap. Keep in mind that they are closed on Monday & Tuesday but open for business Wed/Thu and Sunday from 11am-8pm and Fri/Sat from 11am-9pm. After narrowing down what I wanted, I finally settled with their "French Dip" sandwich. This was a traditional and classic sandwich complete with their smoked roast beef w/Swiss cheese & mayonnaise on a hoagie roll with a side of Au Jus sauce. I opted with home fries as my side and a Coke to drink. I also ordered a starter appetizer which was their crispy "Chicken Tenders". Our server was very attentive as my +1 and I sat on a quieter side of the restaurant (near the windows). Total time took around 25 minutes to get our food; not a big deal considering this place was absolutely packed with customers. Overall, my French Dip was delicious and filling. They were generous with the thin sliced roast beef while there was the perfect amount of cheese. The au jus had the right amount of consistency as each bite hit the spot. However, the chicken tenders were just so-so as there was too much breading on the exterior. And considering these were $16.95 for 4 tenders, it was quite a bit on the pricier side. I don't want to knock this place too much but I did see quite a bit of flies by our table. But I do realize that some of these things are beyond their control with as busy as it was. All in all, the "Silver Dollar Saloon" is a good place for small and large gatherings. The service was excellent while we got filled up during our visit. My rating, an above average four stars.

I had heard they had great chicken wings and decided to get a small order ( 6 pieces) . They have a ton of sauces to choose from. I chose the spicy mix ( their viking and Chipotle I think). It was good and crunchy and came with a couple celery and carrot sticks. What I didn't like was the 30 minute wait for 6 wings. Also I had bar seating and could see into the kitchen. More like a social hour than concentrating on their patrons. If you are a regular you will be taken care of quickly. It's more of a sports bar ( full bar) attracting mainly guys.
