Now we search not only for another company to do the other jobs but eventually a company to come in and fix what they just did. Please do not make the same mistake. Go on Nextdoor in the Arvada area (as I wish we would have done prior to hiring them) you will see people, like me, who have suffered the SAME issues with this unprofessional, incompetent, poor quality company They make promises they can't keep. Their work ethic is bad and quality of work is poor. Long delays. Excuses.... Save yourself the headache. Move on!!!!

1 Star - Extremely Disappointing Experience…read more I've worked with many contractors across multiple homes and offices, and this was by far the worst experience I've had. From start to finish there were major disconnects in communication. Expectations were not aligned, follow-through was inconsistent, and the quality of work did not meet professional standards. When I raised concerns about the workmanship and lack of accountability, instead of addressing the issues, the owner called me in an irate and confrontational manner. Rather than taking responsibility, he attempted to frame my concerns as a "threat" because I mentioned I would leave an honest public review and consider contacting the BBB and the licensing board. At no point did I threaten anything beyond sharing factual information about my experience. I simply expected the work to be done correctly and professionally. Unfortunately, this company did not stand behind their work, and the response to legitimate concerns was defensive and unprofessional. I would strongly recommend getting everything in writing and thoroughly vetting. Better yet, save your money & peace of mind. Use the other guy!!!

Had South Paw out to quote for two projects: a backsplash in the kitchen and engineered hardwood…read morethroughout the great room. The quote process and scheduling were relatively easy. Backsplash project was first-- Enrique and Jose did such a fabulous job. They showed up on time, listened to our requests, and did a stunning job. The flooring project was a disaster. Jose (a different Jose) showed up almost an hour late thinking he was installing LVP (despite the quote, the South Paw-provided materials list, and proof of purchase all stating Engineered Hardwood) and then acted like we somehow pulled the rug out from under him and told us we would need to pay more. I showed him the paid quote that said Engineered Hardwood. He looked at the materials we got (that they requested we get) and told us it wasn't right and he couldn't do it. Our condo requires a floating installation with soundproof underlayment. We talked to Miguel during the quote process, worked with Floor and Decor to ensure we got the correct materials, and worked with our HOA to make sure the underlayment was all correct. Despite three people all pointing us in this one very clear direction (and us having done this project before), Jose was telling us it was impossible to install a floating floor. A new guy (Russian guy?) came out to assess. It's now two hours past when we were supposed to begin what I thought was an easy floor installation. He starts telling us this flooring isn't for a floating installation. So I pull out the instructions from the box which shows a floating installation and ask "why does it say it's appropriate for floating?" He then says something about how "No one wants to take responsibility for it when it fails." Which made no sense because the flooring has a warranty and instructions for how to do it correctly? He offered no further input. He and Jose left to pick up glue. I never saw him again. Anyway, we had ZERO confidence that this was going to be done correctly or that they had any idea what they were doing. We've had floating hardwood installed twice before and it seemed super straight forward-- put down underlayment, lay down floor, glue the tongue and groove and tap them into place. Boom. Done. The manufacturer warrantied the floating flooring. There's like 3 ways to install flooring and this is one of them AND we were clear about it during the quote process, so it was wildly confusing why South Paw was now acting like this was a curve ball. During the initial overview, I also said I wanted to pull out a few pieces of the wood that had odd variations because the wood pattern on a few pieces looked like water damage (it wasn't, it was just a strange pattern). Jose seemed confused, but said he understood. Once he started laying the floors, he laid the pieces I said DO NOT INSTALL. Luckily I popped in when he was only 3 boards in so I could say, "ah wait!" And have the WHOLE conversation over again. Jose was, again, argumentative and acted extremely put out. Another guy on the team helped me sort the wood into piles so that we could show Jose that there would be plenty of material (we bought 20% more than we needed... there was wiggle room to pull out some ugly boards.) There wasn't a single interaction with Jose that wasn't combative or where I wasn't just fully ignored. After the flooring was installed, they put up new baseboards around both the new hardwood and also where it transitions into old tile. The whole project looks amateur. Flooring has H joins (despite me asking three times to make sure to stagger all the wood to avoid that) as well as gaps where they didnt fully tap the tongue into the groove. Transition pieces are bouncy and not fully glued down. Baseboards are wonky and poorly cut. The whole thing was SO expensive for such a bad experience and a bad result. For a company called South Paw Floors, it's ironic how that was the worse part of the project.

Sure, my fault, should have held payment until it was addressed. Life gets busy, so a few years later I called, more than once, to finally get it addressed. Left messages, then only could get responses by emailing the "info" email address and they quoted $300 to come to fix the seams. Sorry, not acceptable and we cancelled. We are going to have quartz installed in all four bathrooms, but we'll go elsewhere. Funny thing, the owner was all over us when we were buying, but have not heard from him AT ALL about this. The only other advice I would offer is to NOT get the touch faucet unless it is "hard wired", as the battery life isn't great.

This is the third project Tiny has completed for me. The first 2 projects were 8 years ago and…read morethey turned out fantastic, so when my contractor suggested another granite contractor, I overrode the decision and returned to Tiny's granite works He sent me to several reputable granite distributors and we shopped them all! Because of the cost and impact to our kitchen, we took our time shopping. Definitely remember to bring a sample of your cabinets! In the end, we needed an entire sLab for my kitchen island (roughly 7'x8') and a second slab for the side countertops. In addition, Tiny offered to give me a granite remnant, but I had to pay for fabrication. I couldn't say no to that, so we added a beautiful counter top to my basement mini kitchen. I was thrilled with the outcome - it took them an entire day to deliver, install and mount the stovetop and sinks and that seemed reasonable. The guys that came along were professional and respectable. This was especially important to me since I just had wood floors installed and they had to be extra careful because this was all installed the day after the big snowstorm the week of thanksgiving (remember 14 inches of snow). Tiny Granite = Huge Headache…read more We agreed to use Tiny's service because they initially very responsive to our questions and requests. When we asked for a quote to re-install 3cm granite countertops we were given a boilerplate "quote" that basically said we'd be charged $150 per hour of work STARTING from when they leave their shop. So if there's an accident on I70, you'd be paying them to sit in Denver traffic. Weird, annoying, and unusual, but not a dealbreaker, so we agreed and set up a time for the install. The exact date and time were agreed upon (this is important). Where everything fell apart was when we sent an email asking if they would be able to give us a rough estimate for the job. We had gotten a few quotes (mostly by price/square foot) and wanted an estimated number to use to compare the two prices. Tiny's responded with again a very generic email which I will copy in its entirety below (again, this is important): "Time for the Install all Depends on How Well the Cabinets Were Installed (i.e.: Level & Squared etc..) and the Condition of the Stone, if There are No Complications It Should Take a Few Hours. As for the Time Starting When My Crew Leave the Shop, Is Just Company Policy." So, they completely ignored the actual estimate request and gave no more information on their policy for being paid to sit in traffic. Again, weird, annoying, and unusual, but not a dealbreaker. Two days later, I'm home, taking a full day off of work because it's required the client be present and since no real time frame of work was given there's no way to schedule a half-day, and it's a complete NO CALL NO SHOW. So I call, leave a VM requesting an immediate call back. 20 min go by and then I start blowing up their phone. It takes almost 10 consecutive phone calls for someone to answer, and then I tell them my name and address and how we expected work to start between 8-9am. Then the woman tells me that they TOOK US OFF THE SCHEDULE because we "didn't respond to their email." This claim is outrageous and ridiculous for two main reasons: 1: Go ahead, take a second to re-read the above email in its entirety. Literally NO WHERE does it say that it needs to be responded to. It's not expressed, implied, or suggested in any way shape or form. And yet, they cancel our appointment without notice because we didn't respond. 2: A professional business has the responsibility to contact or notify their client if they either want to confirm an appointment OR if there has been any change to the planned appointment (i.e. rescheduled or cancelled). To expect that that we the client be constantly calling or emailing them asking if they are still going to honor our agreed upon appointment time is unheard of. You don't call your doctor to make sure they didn't cancel your appointment, they always call YOU to confirm. So basically, we agree on the scope of work, we agree on the payment structure, we agree on the exact time and date, but they still cancelled our appointment without notice and refused to re-schedule because I wasn't apologetic enough for their mistake. They can respond to this with whatever about my supposed "rudeness", but I record all of my calls, and I never once did anything other than be upset at the beginning of the call. I was upset, not ignorant, crass, or anything else unpleasant. And REGARDLESS of what happened on the call, they showed a true lack of professional integrity by cancelling on their client without notice. So go with Tiny's if you want: -Vague pricing, with quotes ranging from "huh" to ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ -To pay for a crew to be in traffic, get coffee, or do anything else during their drive to your site at the price of $150/hr. -Have your appointment be cancelled without any notification the day before it's scheduled because it's beyond their professional scope to write a two sentence email asking for confirmation.

Matt was great in helping us pick out the size and shape of the patio as well as solving some of our gutter/water flow problems. The crews that worked with us were communicative, kind and quick! They did a great job! The only thing I would say is I had to reach out at every step for an update, to get information or find out what time that day they would be by. Communication was a little limited (I think they are very busy!). Would definitely use Meraki again, though. Reaching out was worth the trouble!

Everything passed inspections with flying colors and the city inspector took extra time to express how impressed he was by their tidy electrical work! I went in and Jose was so nice and actually took me back to the back room where they do all the finishing and cutting for the countertops and we went outside and I saw one and he actually got the truck around and pulled it inside for me to look at and it was a done deal, he came out twice and measured to perfection. I had a couple issues with countertop and wall angles and then within a couple days his team came out and installed L shaped countertop a bar area, and my 9 foot island. Couple days later he came back to inspect everything and we had a couple little things that needed to be caulked around the edges and it turned out amazingly beautiful. We used Colorado Marble and Granite for our kitchen counter tops (Summer of 2016) and they were so wonderful. Rise' was our salesperson and from the get go she was just the best - and believe me I shopped around for a fabricator quite a while. They were so good in fact that we used them for a kitchen and 2 bath remodel of an investment property the following month. Now the bad news. On Thanksgiving we were doing dishes and the sink fell out of the counter top (see photo). Disturbing but I knew they would make it right. Ann who is the owner called me the following Monday. I had shored up the sink with some makeshift 2x4 supports I made in my garage and fixed the destroyed plumbing as best I could by then so we could get through the weekend. I told Ann that I knew they were busy with the holidays so would be patient until they could free up time to come re install our sink. I even told her I was not upset about out broken china. She promised to call me back to schedule but never did. After Christmas I called her again and she said "i thought you fixed it yourself." After explaining to her again that my makeshift repair was temporary at best she told me she would schedule something and call me the next day. A week later I had not received a call so I tried to reach out to Rise' by phone. She sounded very surprised and apologized, saying she would speak to Ann and call me back, which she never did. So now 47 days later I am giving up on them. Unbelievable as it sounds it is a true story. I have hired a contractor to repair the sink and I will forward his invoice to Colorado Marble but I have to assume they won't reimburse me. I guess the next should be taking the case to the BBB then contacting all the granite companies that have them as a recommended vendor and letting them know what happened. Beware of this company. They do not back up their workmanship. Like I said a sad story we really thought this company was legit.

We swore we would never use credit cards ever again and started saving for our kitchen project. We saved and it was time for granite. I had 6 companies that I interviewed for the job, and gave what I had in cash to spend. The other companies were nice, and respectful, but they were unwilling to work with us, or give us cash discounts. My last call was to Colorado Marble & Granite. It was nice talking to the owner. She was super nice, and she even stayed after they were closed to give us a tour and see some granite samples. I gave her the exact measurements, being I built the kitchen. She gave me a price that met our budget and guess what.... we had enough to take my wife out to dinner (awesome Taco place down in the DTC area.) The crew who came out to do the template, and to install ROCKED. Nice courteous and asked me questions BEFORE they installed it. It's taken me a couple months to post this, and I am embarrassed since the experience was so deserved to have this written as soon as they left. (to the owner I am sorry about that). (BTW I still am in love with your dad's old truck)
