We have had an unworking oven since June 25. Finally, we were told that the technician was coming today at noon. Well, my wife missed a doctor's appointment waiting and he never showed up. The warranty company, American Home Shield, is absolutely no help. When I call them, they tell me that there is no open service request. Their customer service is also very difficult as the agents barely speak English. When I get an agent, they say, "Oh yes, you have a problem with your oven." No kidding. I really don't know where to go or what to do. This is the biggest service problem I have ever had. American Home Shield doesn't seem to care. read more

Pacific Home Appliance was assigned by our home warranty provider to repair our dishwasher. We had a very good experience: Joe (I believe that's the name, he mentioned he's the owner) came by to first check out the problem, he very quickly gave us a diagnosis and said that they will reach back when they receive the parts that need replacement. The motor that isn't working is for the upper deck of our dishwasher, but Joe went ahead and replaced the lower one as well because he said that's what usually would happen soon. Since our lower deck motor is still working, he left it with us and showed us how to install, so that next time we can attempt ourselves. Horrible customer service, they came out to my parents home in January and did a repair on my double ovens, the technician while doing the install of the replacement part caused an electrical short in the unit. It is now April and I am still waiting on them to finish the repair. They have called to follow up and get a different reason why it cannot be done every time from the part was sent to the wrong place to they're now waiting on it to get delivered again. They have been unable to use their new ovens since JANUARY! VERY UNHAPPY CUSTOMERS, So sad to look at a newly remodeled kitchen and be unable to use one of the key components. Where do I start? I have now used this business for countless reasons - repair, used appliances, replacement parts, even brand new items. I have called for repairs on my home appliances and a rental property I own. Both times, the owner was out to service my fridge and dishwasher within a few days of the initial call. Absolutely NO upsell on getting me to buy anything, he gave his honest opinion on the condition of my appliances. Honesty like that makes me loyal. So of course, I have bought from them too. My mother moved in to a older home with no fridge. We had a tight budget to make something work, and not a lot of time. Joe (the owner) happened to be at the store when we were looking, and again, did not try and upsell us. Joe from Pacific Home Appliance moved heaven and earth so that I could have my dream double convection oven installed in time for Thanksgiving! I just moved into a new home and wanted to upgrade from the 27" single wall oven the condo came with to a 27" double oven. While it is easy to find 30" double ovens second hand, 27" ovens are much harder to come by. After searching all over town for the oven I wanted, I called Joe just a few days before Thanksgiving. He was able to locate a beautiful 27" Dacor double oven with convection in plenty of time for me to prepare dinner for 10 on Thanksgiving. He and George came over Tuesday evening in a raging storm and did a beautiful job installing it. I am so pleased with my oven and with this company. I contacted Pacific Home Appliance to repair my newer oven and freezer ice dispenser. After sending mutliple picture per Joe's request, he told me my oven would probably cost between $400-$600, which was fine. He then told me he couldn't help me with my freezer because it is Samsung brand???? He aske me to take another picture of my oven, which I did, but he never responded. Initially, I thought he might be busy, and it was not an emergency, so I waited patiently. He NEVER responded by text or phone. I am very disappointed. The manager there said they usually sell out of top-freezer fridges pretty quick, so call in ahead of time. They have maybe 1-2 appliances in each price range, so the selection is not huge, but if you can find it here, it would be cheaper. I've never been more impressed with a company as I am with Pacific Home Appliance.. We were in need of a new dishwasher and opted to purchase a refurbished one until we found exactly what we wanted. When Joe came to deliver and install the one we purchased he discovered that the model we currently had was of much better quality and simply needed a new motor. I had the pleasure of meeting Joe Dickerson today. He easily diagnosed and rectified a drainage issue on our refrigerator. Along the way I found him to be both personable and knowledgeable. We had another fella in here a couple of weeks ago who looked at our fridge for 5 minutes and explained that he would have to come back later to remedy our situation. That guy walked out and never was heard from again. This wasn't the case with Joe, he not only got us up and running in a timely fashion, he also showed us how we could deal with the situation ourselves in the future. As a homeowner I have opportunity to interact with technicians and repairmen of all ilk and Joe stands head and shoulders above the rest. The thing that struck me most of all was that he seemed both genuine and trustworthy. DO NOT USE THEIR SERVICES. These guys are frauds. I have a rental unit and asked them to check why my tenant wasn't able to run the dish washer. They told me my dish washer needed a new control panel and it would cost $450. They had already billed me $100.
