I rather pay one or two percent more and buy directly from Amazon/ Costco so I can get warranty, get it shipped to my doorstep, and make use of the return policy. The staff seemed to be very professional and friendly, ensuring to answer all questions we had. My boyfriend bought a few Magic singles and he only really buys them after checking how much it really goes for so the prices seem to be fair. They do have singles for One Piece, Lorcana, Pokemon, and Magic which is nice cause it's usually the last two I see. They do have a little area for you to search in their database and they get it within a few minutes too. Overall a great card shop in the area.

Called the store on the day of a pre-release trading card game launch to inquire if they were…read moreselling product. The employees had no idea what I was talking about and asked me where I had heard that there was a launch that day. I responded that other local game stores were selling the product and that the publisher had noted that that was the release day for local game stores. After confirming that this set had in fact been released, they then told me that they would not be selling product until two days later at their launch event. On the day of the launch event, I arrived to find out that the employees did not even know if there was a launch event happening or know where the product was at all, or if they could even sell it. After determining that there would be an event that day they still were not sure if they would be able to sell it to us or with the price would be and chose a price that was higher than other product from the same trading card game. This was all after calling ahead to confirm these things and then traveling over an hour and a half to the store since there are not many local game stores where I live. Overall, when asking questions it felt like I was bothering the employees and that it was my fault that they didn't know the answers to my questions and it was an inconvenience that we had even asked. This is in sharp contrast to other local game stores in the area who will always look to find the answer to a question if they don't know the answer. Past experiences at Geek Fortress have been a little unorganized, but nothing like the most recent one. I will not be coming back.

I discovered Bruning pottery when I was shopping at Molbak's in Woodinville before they closed. The…read moreglazed immediately caught my eye and I absolutely loved their selection. I found out their store was in Snohomish and set a date to go up and take a visit. All of their pieces were surprisingly affordable and even more beautiful at their Snohomish shop. We ended up purchasing a whole lot of planters, bowls and vases and using them as the centerpieces for our wedding! Everyone loved them and commented how unique each one were. My husband and I now have Bruning pieces all over our home and use the smaller bowls for side dishes or ice cream! So versatile and I don't think I'll ever get rid of them. Looking to expand our collection soon! I've met a sweet lady, Catherine, who's helped me a few times as well as the owner, who took me into the back to pick out some of their top pieces.
