Whoever is reading this review trust when I say "do not use this company" for anything. I had a problem with my Samsung Washer and Robert came out to diagnose the issue and told me that the problem was the mother board. After checking on the price, Robert told me that the total price to fix would be $462 and he would clean out the washer and fix the door for no charge. To my dismay, I gave Robert a $300 dollar deposit. Well Robert never fixed the washer to this date, which was in mid August and the problem he said it was originally turned out to be something else. He missed several appointments to the point where I just told him I wanted my $300 dollars back which he finally agreed, but to this date, I still haven't received a penny from this guy. He is the most unprofessional, dishonest, unethical, deceitful person I ever met. The company that has this guy under contract needs to fire him and check his credentials. I know I will! He didn't show up the first day he was scheduled, said he would be here the next morning that turned into late afternoon. He would not answer calls. showed up late, he and his wife replaced the compressor and condenser but did t address the complaint with the fan. charged $1441 for labor, Freon, and travel. said he would drop off a new control board. Afterwards the freezer and ice maker both quit and it started making noise. After multiple calls he agreed to come back "tomorrow morning ". then showed up at 1:30. Then he took the fans apart and thawed them out with my wife's hair dryer. He put it back together with my help and now the ice maker still does t work and the freezer is getting covered in frost and it's making a rattling noise. I just had my stand-up freezer repaired by Robert. I am really glad I used Appliance Services because Robert is very professional and is very knowledgeable with his work. He was on time with our appointment and was able to assess the issue and repair my freezer. He is fair with his price and he provides a 30 day warranty on his work. Robert even followed up with a text the next day to ensure that my freezer was properly working and cooling. I highly recommend Appliance Services for your appliances issues. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY! Our worst experience ever with a repair for our dryer. Robert came to our home really quick. He was also really quick to take our money. He "ordered" the parts and was waiting on other parts to "come in." After repeated calls (many of which the mailbox was full and we could not leave a message) to him to preform the repair, we finally decided to contact our local police department. After a couple of months, we fortunate to get our money back in the form of a cashier's check. He "mailed" the check and it took about 10 days to reach us. The day he said he mailed the check and the date on the cashier's check was about a week later. Thankfully, the cashier's check seems real. At this moment, it has not been returned by the bank as bogus. Hopefully, we won't hear back from our bank (finger's crossed). Think twice before you believe what Robert tells you. A service person named Robert came and quoted me 800.00 to replace compressor & mother board( which by the way we're still covered under warranty, so no charge for parts). Robert came out to repair my mini beverage fridge and charged me $450, much to my horror! A new fridge is $1,200. After 2 months the same problem happened and the fridge stopped working. After many calls and missed appointments Robert came back out and charged me $95 trip charge. He said there was a leak and in 30 days he would put a red dye in the line to know where the leak was. After the 30 days the fridge again failed, he said he would come out and patch it free of charge but again missed several set appointments and never would call me back! This company sent a technician named Robert out to fix my Samsung dryer which wasn't heating. He came took my dryer apart (broke my door switch but replaced it with a new one) then said my control board was bad and that it would be over $350 to fix. I declined payed him $70 for diagnostic and since it was a control board I decided to replace my self, it was litterally only 6 plugs. Robert even said it was impossible to not connect right. So I went and bought the part for $130 and installed and still no heat. So I call him and he text me back saying he will call me tomorrow, well he never called so I called the company and they said they would get back to me, well 2 weeks later and nobody has contacted me and I'm out $200 and had to pay another company who came and fixed my dryer (motor was bad). This happened before he touched the appliance! The repairman insisted I needed to replace thus and so and demanded I pay the $85.00 "diagnostic fee" though again, nothing was wrong and he diagnosed nothing! Again, he did nothing to repair the jam and I myself knew why it had jammed. He said the free quote is good only in the event of a repair and again, that does not make it free. That just means the $85.00 would be deducted from the final bill. Money changed hands, again, that is NOT free! Just be honest and say the service call is $85.00. Bait and switch. read more

I had a washer that was leaking - the problem turned out to be a blockage in the drain for the washer. Robert (the owner) charged me just shy of $166.00 for the first call citing his time and the replacement of a very minor part that was not part of the original complaint. He said he'd be back out the following week to take care of the blockage, and assured me he'd "take care of it for me". I expressed some concern over whether I should call my regular plumber or not, but he seemed confident he could take care of it. After a second trip, and two additional hours work I came at lunch to find him still there "trying" to fix my problem, except now my utility room and the corner of the garage near the water softener are flooded. I ran him off and called my regular plumber as I should have done in the first place. Including the first trip, I am now out $443.00 plus and still have the problem I called for in the first place. I called him to diagnose our freezer, he told us it was the compressor which was covered by LG warranty. He said he would be back in 3 days with the parts to do the repairs. He collected 300 deposit plus the 60 trip charge. He called a day later to let us know he was going to charge another 160 for an additional part that was needed but, he never came back. He would not call when he said he would. We would make appointments which he would not show up for or cancel claiming he had an emergency. After 3 cancellation/no shows, we asked for a refund of the $300, he ultimately told me he was keeping it for "his time" but mentioned he would drop off the parts. When I told him that keeping my $300 was unreasonable and I would dispute it through my bank, he said he was also going to keep the warranty covered parts as well. We ended up going through LG who sent a real professional. New guy charged 250 total for the repairs and trip charge. All of our parts were covered by the LG warranty, no extra part for $160, no $180 charge for Freon. I wish I had seen other reviews prior to working with him. DO NOT USE Appliance Services San Antonio or San Antonio Appliance Repair. Called San Antonio Appliance Repair because the heating element on our Samsung dryer stopped working. They sent out Robert with Appliance Services of San Antonio and charged me $60 for the trip. Robert "repaired" the dryer on 12/7. However, the next day it started making a sound never before heard in this house. After inspecting the dryer, I found Robert, on top of whatever "repair" he did, failed to re-install three screws when placing the dryer back together. Robert also charged me $80 for a part that can be purchased online for $40. Thanks Robert. I called Robert about the noise and the double charge for the trip charge--the same charge Robert said on the day of his visit San Antonio Appliance Repair would refund once he certified the service call was complete--and he advised the noise would soon stop due to the "repairs" involving new parts. The sound didn't stop, but our use of the dryer did. Also, San Antonio Appliance Repair has not refunded the trip charge and advised Robert was responsible for the refund. After 11 calls to San Antonio Appliance Repair, two subsequent promises from Robert he would return and, unsurprisingly, did not return, the dryer remains broke. We should have just replaced the dryer. read more
